Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

YES, the “back-yard” area(s) are “SHADY” from the numerous & very Large ,Live Oaks around this property..These Live Oaks are North of 200 years old.. the ‘Circumference’ of these trees are around 8 to 10 feet around, measured, they are HUGE.
Nice if you like Shade, they are the ticket, though; on the other hand a REAL PITA keeping the leaves & branches picked-up &raked, IN FACT,, We “swept & raked” the Day before, yet looks like, We didn’t do anything..
We have plenty of song birds, humming birds, squirrels (yes possums & Coons also) Snakes, even Raptors, (Red-Tailed Hawks & Owls), in our immediate area(s)..
In short, YES, it’s My piece of Paradise or Heaven every evening & morning.
It’s going to be VERY Sad, to be forced to move, then,, to watch, everything bulldozed & paved over for a Parking Lot.

when you are ready for serious……watch Dr. Janda….you can also watch on youtube…..He’s reporting about an upset of the deep state evil ones…..he references an article published last night on which started getting attacked shortly after publishing. So Dr. Janda (who’s been an activist for 30 years) reads the article that you can’t access, even as I type. Oh, and he also h/t’s CTH, Solomon, etc.

I’ll go ahead and share that Jackery is doing a sale this week only…Hobotech has a vid up about it (I think it went up yesterday, lemme go grab it and link it at the end)

Anyways….it’s this week ONLY and it’s a 20% off sale. Which is a nice chunk off the 240 and while I’d love to have a kodiak, that Jackery 240 would at least offer some capacity to have lights and charge up small electronics in an emergency….

Code at Amazon is JACKERYWEEK – here is Hobotech’s vid about the sale.

Dark times in Canada. “Anti-hate” – who decides what’s good and what’s forbidden? Terror tied groups like CAIR? Antifa? Freedom of speech is the foundation of a free society. Without it, a tyrant can wreak havoc unopposed, while his opponents are silenced.

In the words of Arte Johnson (Laugh-in) “Verrry interesting.” I found Prime Minister Churchill’s alleged comments in his encounter with President Lincoln very humorous.

    From wiseGEEK:
Does Anyone Believe That the White House Is Haunted?

Winston Churchill and Lyndon Johnson are among those who reportedly saw
Abraham Lincoln’s ghost in the White House.

Abraham Lincoln lived in the White House during his presidency from 1861 to
1865, but, according to some ghostly reports, he never left — even after
his assassination in 1865. According to several notable White House guests,
including dignitaries such as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and
Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, Lincoln still haunts the halls of the
White House. His spirit has been spotted in several places, but most
frequently in the Lincoln Bedroom (no surprise there) and the Yellow Oval

So your hawks and their chicks are very well fed. I believe Cornell mentioned one day the chicks were fed 15 times! Arthur brings in pigeons and chipmunks (tiny things) so he spends a lot of time hunting.

Sometimes, he bags a squirrel or a baby bunny and that might be good for 2 feedings. Gotta say, he’s a very busy hunter. He is also providing some prey for Mom.

When she leaves the nest for a few minutes, she usually comes back with a stick for the nest. Arthur does as well, on occasion. I’ve been following these hawks for at least 8 years.

FTA – Theresa May will today clear the way for Britain to have a new prime minister by the summer. Allies said that – barring a last-minute change of heart – she will announce plans this morning to step aside as Conservative Party leader next month. Mrs May will begin the day with a meeting with the Tories’ backbench shop steward Sir Graham Brady to discuss the exact timetable for her departure. She is then expected to address the nation from Downing Street to explain why she is leaving ‘the job I love’ before she has realised her ambition of leading Britain out of the European Union.

Mexico proposed Thursday that the United States finance seven projects aimed at boosting the economies of three Central American nations whose poverty and violence push desperate people to migrate north.

Mexican foreign minister Marcelo Ebrard told reporters after meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan that he plans to showcase the same proposal next week in Germany.

Ebrard is to meet Friday with President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan at the White House. He expects to get an update on talks about the U.S. committing some $10 billion in development funds for Mexico and Central America.”

We have thousands of acres of forest and pastures around us and rodents galore. Some years back when we had to punch a hole in our dam to do some lake work the water flushed some 4 acres down to the stream that drains it and it looked like a Biblical plague as hundreds upon hundreds of field mice and rats swarmed out of their cover. The various rodentivorous critters here are overweight if anything. They also prey on coons and possums.

We’re not sure of the lineage of our hawks but we have enough old growth pine in the low area along the road to support more than a few nests. One of the benefits of living out here is the wildlife that drops by to visit or just stays.
