The power of prayer is simply amazing. We all have been extremely humbled by the outpouring of support and prayers from everyone one. Thank you for showing us there is so much good not only in our community but across the globe. Condition is again similar to previous days, another peaceful night of sleep – small steps towards the healing process. Each new day is a good day. Landen’s recovery is expected to be ongoing for a long time, while it’s hard to estimate costs, this will change everything for their family and require much of their time and focus. Many people continue to want to offer support and have asked me to raise the goal amount again, so I’ll continue doing so. We have set up a mailing address for those of you who are wishing to send cards and get well wishes to Landen and his family. Please send them to:

Just wrote he and his family a little note! Thanks for the address and updates. Letter writing is a lost art so hopefully, we Treepers will all pick up the pen and send this family words of encouragement, prayers, and hope. When in the midst of a crisis it sometimes hard to KNOW that God IS there. Have always loved this saying “I believe in the sun, even when it does not shine. I believe in love, even when it is not felt. I believe in God even when he is silent.” God is watching over this little fellow I can seriously feel all the love being sent his way.

          • Thank you so much for your kind expression of car. This little guy has kind of gotten into a lot of hearts here.

I pray and care for children a lot because of so many evil and heinous things being done to them, even at times by their own parents. It’s extremely heart-breaking.

We got involved with one of the kids in the OKC bombing back in 1995. The boy was 8. I think PJ was his name. Wrote to him and his family and sent some money to help. I wasn’t all that far from OKC back then. That event really tore me up. It’s a small kindness in a large world, but to those people, it’s a large thing.

CTH is full of a lot of love, care and prayer.

Shalom and be blessed for that!

What looked like media hysteria today was actually a coordinated operation by Media Matters to control the narrative surrounding the Mueller Dossier. Media Matters is controlled by the same people who control the Democrat Party, who are also the same people whose criminal acts were the origin of the witch hunt to begin with. They are desperate, so now they are throwing caution to the wind and are in full attack mode.

It makes perfect sense when you look at it that way.

        Liked by 7 people

        • Agreed. Perfect, simple sense.

Some of us have observed this pattern for decades. It’s nothing new under the sun. They are stuck in their organized, pre-planned mold and never really move outside of that spectrum. They are coordinated from A to Z. That’s why it’s so easy for conservatives to put together videos of all the similar talking points that come out at the same time….remember….bombshell, the walls are closing in, the beginning of the end, etc, etc, etc. There’s no way all these media people are going to come out at once and say the same thing.

I believe 98.38594% of media hysteria is very organized across the board and has been for years. Media Matters is one of the main players behind a lot of hysterical. I wonder how much GS has donated since that first $1M in 2010. Bet he and Brock are cozied up tight.

I don’t believe we’ve seen the worst of it yet. The rabid raccoon backed up in the corner is going to get vicious and ugly. It’s a raccoon that needs to be….well, you know….xxx on site.

            Angelle,
There have to be many people who are awake re Media Matters and the 4:00 am marching orders for each news cycle.

I trust many of my fellow Treepers, like me, cold turkeyed the MSM.

I even stopped reading the WSJ about 7 years ago, their reporting was lemming like, unsharp, establishment, uniparty. Have not seen MSM T.V. news in more than a decade. I do watch Fox, but pick my spots. Most of their personas are hacks; a few, Bartiromo, Carlson, Pirro are very good, as is Herridge.

            • Sugarhill: great to hear from you!

I quit LSM/MSM very early 90s. WSJ…even further back. Don’t watch Fox. And that’s where CTH comes in. Either SD and/or Treepers post the best of those you mention. So I get pretty much all yhe best here. Gotta love it.

Btw…have not had a tv since 1994. And I am still more informed than much of the country.

I live by the motto I posted in my weekly early am response this past Monday to Rynn69’s weekly letter to Barr and great military tribute video on the open thread…

              *Improvise
              *Adapt
              *Overcome

So I have accomplished that mission concerning media.

Have a great Good Friday and Passover weekend.

If the federal government had honest law enforcement, non profits like Media Matters, SPLC and hundreds more would be investigated for violations of their non profit status.

Soros funds hundreds of these non profits which are really political activists working against the Constitution and using violence, lies, deceit to accomplish their goals.

Pray that our Lord God will send a deceiving spirit into the midst of Trump’s enemies. That He will confuse, cause disarray, expose their plans, and that their names, organizations, etc., will be revealed to those that support the President. That the simple minded hordes who support his enemies, and ours, will have their hearts, minds, eyes and ears opened to see themselves as being used, expose their crimes, seek repentance and divine justice be done.

Pray the Lord send a spirit of desolation into the hearts of those Congressional leaders who lie and abuse their power and position to attack our President. Pray the hearts and minds of Cummings, Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, Ormar, Talib and others like them are hardened to the point that their blind hate and rage destroys them as the Lord did with Pharoah.

Pray the Lord put a hedge around the President, his family, and those who are truly loyal to him

Pray the Lord sends a final revival: to ourselves, our families, our cities, our states and our nation, one more time before He comes.

Weatherman and economists are two groups of self-avowed professionals who get paid for frequently being wrong.

Full disclosure: Prior to medical school, I completed a BA in Economics and worked on Wall Street for four years. My assertion is based on empirical experience. My forecasts were wrong as often as they were correct. Professionally, I couldn’t live with such a high degree of error. There is good reason for economics being described as “the dismal science.”

Okay, with that said, here is another possible way to look at it. The words “having said that” sometimes mean there is another inclusion of the original predicate of one’s statement.

I find it annoying and redundant. Perhaps if it had not become such an overused cliche, similar to “vis a vis” that was excessively used by James Baker and adopted by every ersatz intellectual, I would have a more tolerant disposition toward it.

Thx for that. I was having a bit of fun with that. But overall, many phrases have become redundant. And not everybody who uses this phrase uses it in the specific way I do.

A particular friend of mine, a retired Army tank commander would use that phrase with some serious meaning behind it, but he was exceptional.

Thx for the kind remark. I enjoy your comments. They are always so sensible. You comment some excellent spiritual things too.

IIRC, I posted here in 2012- 2015 I thought it was odd that Obama never called the Russian ambassador on the carpet at the WH to read him the riot act after the hacking allegations surfaced. I suppose I connected it to his, ‘ more flexibility after the election’ comment. Very odd for a US President not to take action, as he was Head of the DNC. So many questions, but the answers will be forthcoming. Of that I am confident.

All of this agreement that “the Russians interfered in the 2016 election.”

Balderdash! Where is the PROOF? What is the evidence? Not just vague nondescript references to general actions but hard references to SPECIFIC actions. I have YET to see ANYONE post such evidence.

NO ONE including the President should accept this as a fact until hard irrefutable evidence is produced.

And then let’s compare whatever “The Russians” did to the deliberate and blatant interference perpetrated by the media and more blatantly by social media platform managers. “The Russians” effort will prove to be insignificant and inconsequential by comparison.

the Left has turned reality upside down which is one of their goals – what is real and right is what they say it is
There has been some very good investigative reporting during this phase of Spygate. Consider the works of John Solomon, Sara Carter, Mollie Hemingway, Kimberley Strassel who have to be following Sundance and their interpretations proved correct. But, NYT and WaPo got the Pulitzer and they got it all wrong. Of course, NYT and WaPo weren’t even trying to perform investigative reporting or to get it right.

The Mueller report completion will also signify the beginning of the end of the media/DOJ alliance and that is a very significant thing going forward. We saw this process play out with the State department, CIA, and National Security Council where it took time for the leakers to be replaced and during that time the damage was considerable. The difference in the amount of negative stories now and then coming from those agencies is massive.

An under appreciated aspect of the Mueller investigation is that it allowed the continuation of this media alliance to continue far beyond what it would otherwise would have been able to do had a competent AG been installed right away. The Mueller report reads like a copy and paste job of stories in the media from the last 2 years which shows how much leaking was occurring and how greatly the media relied on the relationships. It’s over now. It will take 6 months or so before their info becomes completely irrelevant but at least the process begins. At some point the information from former DOJ officials becomes merely punditry and not news. Comey and McCabe reached that point eventually. Now Mueller and Weissman and Rosenstein start that process.

The Barr press conference highlighted the fact that Barr is not going to be a partner with the media. It will take time for that to filter down but the age of media and DOJ narratives mysteriously matching perfectly is over and the age of DOJ actions being taken to pursue a media narrative is on its way out too. Those are big steps forward. At some point the media has to consider that developing new relationships (instead of regurgitating the narratives of has beens) will be the only way they can obtain relevant new information (aka news) and their coverage will have to adjust accordingly as it has with the other agencies. The media has proven to be nothing but stenographers for high level sources and they won’t get scoops unless their product is likely to convey the story the source wishes to tell.

Good post. Also had this impression. Barr gave them (media) an generous oppurtunity, that they (it appears) did not take. Interesting to see what Barr does next? It would be nice to see that list of media fools who got free stuff from the DOJ/FBI.

      • Reverse it – I’d like to see the list of DOJ/FBI “fools” who received free stuff from the media. The report so stating had evidence – names, dates and what the free stuff was. There is no reason they can’t be charged and FIRED immediately. Shouldn’t have to wait for anything – imho.

Very interesting Herman Cain (Trump nominee to join board of Fed) OpEd piece in the WSJ today concerning monetary policy: definitely a different voice: The Fed and the Professor Standard. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-fed-and-the-professor-standard-11555541719 He compares his views to the “professors” on the Fed, arguing that people less academic, closer to the real economy see that managing the value of the dollar is better policy than the recession-causing fixation on wage growth requiring interest rate hikes to slow the economy (apparently by eliminating jobs so wages could stop growing). Very well written and interesting, though a little over my head. Still, I come away trusting that he will be a good governor. Apparently the RINOs are not in line to confirm him.

This is just the beginning. All roads will lead back to Obama.
Then, we will take care of Biden If it is any comfort, Ol Joe is not the Chosen One.

As you suspect, he was too close to all of this and had to know. The powers that be, the DNC, etc. know this also. Therefore, they do not want to back someone who himself could get impeached because….. When Obama goes down, they all are gonna go down.

Now, currently the only outlier in my opinion is Mooch / Michele…..if she / he runs that would be a different story.

Remember, today is only the first day of “full exoneration” for our President.
We also must still wait to see how far Barr will go.

I think that President Trump made one small mistake…when he said ‘I’m F*cked’, he should have said ‘We’re F*cked’. The raging animus against him (and us) is that he is a disrupter. Disrupting the well crafted plans of the Koch machine, the CoC and the socialists in, for example, open borders.

And this catastrophe will play out:

“Should the situation not be resolved and asylum seeking continue at the pace we anticipate for the coming year, by September 2020, nearly 1,000,000 asylum children could be in the US (arriving Jan. 2019 – Aug. 2020),” Kopits writes.

(from a Princeton study of migrants. Like the housing/financial crisis these people care not. In their joint efforts across party lines, and with the help of other countries, they’ve stymied Trump (and us). Their self-aggrandizement comes first.

This story is eerily similar to two books I have just read.~~> People you should read a new book by Joel Rosenberg called Kremlin Conspiracy here’s a synopsis of the book: With an American president distracted by growing tensions in North Korea and Iran, an ominous new threat is emerging in Moscow. A czar is rising in the Kremlin, a Russian president feverishly consolidating power, silencing his opposition, and plotting a brazen and lightning-fast military strike that could rupture the NATO alliance and bring Washington and Moscow to the brink of nuclear war.
Then when you are done reading that, read his most recent book The Persian Gamble here’s a synopsis of the book: The unstable North Korean regime plans to use international chaos as a smokescreen to sell nuclear weapons to Iran. The premise is Russia makes a compact with NOKO to come to their aid if attacked and gives them 15 specialized nukes. NOKO plans to sell 5 to the Persians (unbeknownst to Russia’s new President). The plan is to attack the US from NOKO and Iran.
