Well the libs and illegals voted in a bunch of socialists so they will try to grab every penny they can from the value producers. State congress will then make a law to hand it over to the looters and greasy Governor Gavin Nuisance will gladly sign it.

As a Commifornia resident let me just say that if it wasn’t so tragic it would be funny. The wife and I have been mulling over the move for years but when all is said and done, financially it just doesn’t pencil out (I know it’s weird). We live in a rural, conservative area and to be honest it’s paradise for us. Unfortunately when I did the math we’d take about a 50k pay cut in wages moving to pretty much any other state. It nowhere near makes up for the taxes here (at least as of today). I thought it would be a no brainer but 50k a year will raise an eyebrow for anyone I think. If the area we lived in was infested with leftists you couldn’t catch us in a vet, but we live with a mountain people so it works. For now…

Have you adjusted for cost of living? I moved from the tri-state area and took a nearly 50% pay cut to do it. But I wound up with a better lifestyle all the way around since it was so much cheaper to live.

We live in Central Missouri where our beautiful 3K house on 3 rolling wooded acres runs 240K and taxes under 1K per year. Our 10 mile commute is on a new four lane and there are usually 10 or 20 cars within eye view. Food’s cheap, gas is $2.40 today. Electric cheap. We have a 36K annual budget all in and make far, far more than that. Did I mention virtually no crime. I didn’t even have a key for my front door for 5 years. Course it does get cold, hot, windy, rain and tornados occasionally.

I understand the idea, and desire to move out of Cal. or any other “blue” state, but its really NOT about “States” and hasn’t been for some time.
          Its about CITIES vs. RURAL.

In States like Cal. or N.Y., if the cities votes didn’t overwhelm the rural votes, they would be RED.

And “traditionally red states”, like Az., Montana, etc. we are seeing the same thing; the cities vote blue, the rural areas red.

Look at the 2016 “Can you hear us NOW?” electoral map.

So, moving to another State may yield you little, for all the effort. Since your already IN a rural area, probaly best staying.
Hope this helps you accept the decision you have already made.

On the other hand, any treepers living in major cities, regardless of State, might want to consider getting OUT of the city.

My wife and I worked and planned for a # of years, to make our move, and are so GLAD we did!

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/04/dallas_will_no_longer_prosecute_petty_crimes.html

Dallas County district attorney John Creuzot (Dim) is enacting sweeping changes to the way his office deals with crime. It appears that Creuzot will be giving petty criminals a pass.

Creuzot will “decriminalize” most petty crimes against property, reform the bail system, and refuse to prosecute first-time drug offenders.

Creuzot says he’ll decline to prosecute theft of personal items worth less than $750 unless the theft was for financial gain.

U.S. Restricts Travel, Remittances To Cuba As Part Of A New Policy Under Trump
    17 Apr 2019

    https://www.wlrn.org/post/us-restricts-travel-remittances-cuba-part-new-policy-under-trump

The Trump administration is tightening restrictions on travel and remittances to Cuba, reversing the engagement policies of the Obama era while increasing pressure on the island’s government in response to its support of the Nicolás Maduro regime in Venezuela.

“In no uncertain terms, the Obama administration’s policies toward Cuba have ***enabled the Cuban colonization of Venezuela today***,” National Security Advisor John Bolton said Wednesday during a speech at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The changes were designed to reverse “the disastrous Obama-era policies, and finally end the glamorization of socialism and communism,” he added.

    ———

How about “the Mexican colonization of the US today”?

The Trump administration can clearly, and legally, do this.

It could also ban all remittances by other than lawful permanent residents or US Citizens to any set of nations it so chooses.

    Like Mexico, Honduras, etc.

This would instantly dry up the illegal invader flow.

If you got here you couldn’t send money home.

You couldn’t pay the Coyote who brought you here.

You couldn’t get tax-free, under-the-table money and send it to your family (illegally earned.)

There would be no economic reason to come here if you had anyone left behind.

Trump could do it in an afternoon.

    SO WHY HASN’T HE?

I really hate to disagree with my President, unfortunately it will only be game over, when you are smoothing over the dirt, and then dancing on the graves, of your enemies, sir.

You have WARNED them, you have offered to “let it go”, and “move on, for the sake of America”, and they have, time and time again rejected your overtures.

Therefore, you can now destroy them, without mercy, regret or remorse, for they have brought it on themselves.

In order to end this, you must end THEM, there is simply no other way.

I am reminded of when Moses came down with the tablets, only to find an orgy, with defilement and a golden calf statue. Drew a line in the sand, and slaughtered 1/2 of the isrealites, as I recall.

Our system is for a “peaceful transition of power”, and after every election for everyone to accept the results, and work together for the common good.

WHERE was your (and us deplorables) “Honeymoon”? They were embedding spies in your camp, not just during the campaign, but into your new administration, while simultaneously destroying your allies.

And they will never stop, until they are ENDED. You must do it, for the sake of your Presidency, us deplorables, the nation and the world.

I am and remain behind you (got your back) and will support you as you do what you gotta do.

But this ain’t over, because they won’t LET it be over. Its just a new chapter, not of revengevor retribution, but of Justice, rather than Just-us.

That’s some list. I only wish the laws that rule over normal folks applied to the civil servants in DC. No matter who gets caught in what, the lawyers slow-walk or no-walk it out of public memory.

The worst part is that not only are they not prosecuted for their lawlessness… they keep their jobs, pay, connections, and power… it doesn’t seem to impact them at all.

How a guy like McCabe goes from wondering who he’ll share a cell with to pimping a book that exploits the very misdeeds he’s getting away with… and I won’t even start with Clinton, an ACTUAL wicked witch.

Look at all the perjury and obstruction in that list… and we KNOW how democrats feel about perjury and obstruction!

    The thought occurs this morning that this whole quest by the Democrat party to go after the concept of obstruction, using the President’s tweets and comments throughout this ordeal is just a tool they use in their plan to get rid of free speech;

just like their partners in the social media realm of you tube, twitter, facebook to demonetize, shadowban or disappear people and comments not liked by the Democrats, also measures to stifle free speech.

That effort in combination with the open joy the Democrat candidates have in pushing their anti-gun, anti-capitalism, anti-electoral college, anti-borders and other anti-anything American, they are in an all out war against the very foundation of our nation and

is why they won’t back down. As the meme shows, President Trump is not their target, he is just in their way, our freedoms are the real target.

All the more reason to continue to speak up, meme, laugh in their faces and point out the nakedness of their ideas.

      https://heavy.com/news/2019/04/marc-lamparello/

Marc Lamparello has been identified as the 37-year-old man who was arrested by NYPD Counterterrorism officers after walking into the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City with two gasoline cans just days after a fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Lamparello was taken into custody without incident at the seat of the Catholic Archdiocese of New York in midtown Manhattan Wednesday night, NBC New York reports.

Lamparello is a Boston College-educated philosophy professor who has been involved in the Catholic Church in the past. According to a bio for a recently published book he wrote, “A native of New Jersey, Marc Lamparello studied philosophy at Boston College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 2004. Marc has been heavily engaged in the study of philosophy from an early age, and is currently working on two other book-length projects, including a witty dialogue on arguments for and against the existence of God, and a series of essays on the epistemology of practical motivation.”

Lamparello had a “one-way ticket” from Newark Airport to Rome and was set to depart Thursday night, the New York Daily News reports. His father told the newspaper that his son is a “brilliant” professor and sounded normal on the phone just hours before the incident. “Extremely out of character. He’s a brilliant professor. His writings — other professors can’t even understand his writings. Something happened, we don’t know. I spoke to him (Wednesday) morning. It was just, ‘Hi daddy, how are you feeling?’ Then last night was like what the hell? That’s all I can tell you.”

“Liberalism is a mental disorder” sounds like a joke; it isn’t. The mainstream urinalists can’t stop pushing “Russian Collusion Delusion” because they have a vested interest, and besides, who likes to admit that they are wrong?

The so-called liberals can’t stop because they are fanatics. It looks like a drug addict’s need for his next fix, or the alcoholic who can’t stop after a couple of beers. It is something in the brain.

The urinalists pushed this psychosis for two years, giving these fanatics plenty of fixes. They did so intentionally; they are responsible for a tremendous amount of public stress and violence, adding to, playing to, the inherent vulnerability of those who easily fall sway to liars and cons.

They are never going to admit the truth. They can’t. But hopefully some of the addicts can be rehabilitated.

Actually, I held out for a long time, “trusting” sessions, I don’t recall when, but it was after Huber announcement.

I patiently argued hard, with those who insisted he was a rat, and who often made no attempt to rationally refute my points, but were just reiterating over and over, he’s a rat.

Finally, and I don’t recall what was my breaking point, but I realised Sessions was a rat. NOT incompetent, not over his head, whether compromised/blackmailed, or bad from the get go, he was a rat, and huber was a head fake.
And, I posted on here, for all to see, that I was eating crow; that I WAS WRONG.

I was not ‘gaslighting’, I was looking at the available evidence, and BELIEVING WHAT I WANTED TO BELIEVE.

We all express our opinion, “IMHO”, none of “Know”. Sometimes something seems so obvious to us, that we state our opinion as if it was fact. And sometimes events prove us wrong.

I am still waiting to see someone, who posted comments that “Trump should fire Mueller” eat crow, and admit that thats exactly what his enemies wanted, and would have led to his impeachment, post haste.

          And waiting,….
          And waiting,….

“The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) projected a significant boost for U.S. automakers and parts producers in an economic analysis of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USCMA) published Thursday.”

We need to secure the border. Barr is making some moves. Yet the President can do more by executive orders. disease and crime are coming over the border daily -the Pres. has the authority to ban those he deems a threat to the nation. also, CBP agent said asylum rules can be tweaked without action by congress. yet the Pres. continues to tweet for Congress to “fix” the immigration laws.

“Opinion of the court Trump v. Hawaii.

Delivering the majority opinion, Chief Justice Roberts concluded the language of 8 U. S. C. §1182(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act was clear in giving the President broad authority to suspend the entry of non citizens in the country and Trump’s Presidential Proclamation 9645 did not exceed any textual limit on the President’s authority. Under 8 U. S. C. §1182(f), a President may limit alien entry when he finds that their entry “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.” Trump determined that aliens from some countries are detrimental because those countries do not share adequate information with the U.S. for an informed decision on entry, and that other countries are detrimental because their aliens create national security risks. Trump showed that the limits he put in place were tailored to protect American interests. The only prerequisite set forth in §1182(f) is that the President “find” that the entry of the covered aliens would be detrimental to the interests of the U.S. “The President has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement here,” the Supreme Court ruled. Trump acted within his powers, according to Justice Roberts.”

IF the NYPD could follow its own gut instincts, it would investigate ANY social media this perp has for ANY connections / declarations / sympathizing, to Islam.
However, I suspect that the NYPD can’t follow its gut instincts given the fact that they’re ordered to train the ISLAMIC NEIGHBORHOOD PATROLS in the city.
By the way, it appears the perp lived in his parents’ basement.

But are we too burned out to care after two years of propaganda from the left?
They have tried to use up our emotional capacity, they have tried to drain our batteres they have tried to “down cycle” us before the real crimes are revealed.
That is OK because I have a speed charger and a short down cycle.
I will be “drama ready” when the time comes!

The Podesta’s were involved with Uranium One!! I didn’t know that.

Forbes: “A less noted fact is that Uranium One was represented by the Podesta Group from 2011 to 2013 (managed by John Podesta’s brother), which cashiered $180,000 from its client. The Podesta Group had avoided registration as a foreign agent by claiming that a client, the Centre for Modern Ukraine, had no ties to a foreign government. The Centre for Modern Ukraine was likely funded by ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich from the billions he extracted before fleeing Ukraine.

“The Obama Justice Department chose not to share this information with those government officials responsible for the October 2010 approval of the partial sale of Uranium One to Rosatom. If the FBI’s evidence of Rosatom’s violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act had been disclosed in a timely fashion, the chances for government approval of the Uranium One-Rosatom deal would have vanished, despite its high-level backing from The Podesta Group, Uranium One’s substantial payments to the Clinton Foundation, and Russia’s direct payments to Bill Clinton himself. Hence the stakes in withholding the FBI evidence were quite high.”

Unless I’m wrong, the past couple days his postings were kind of short (to the point, but short).
He did say awhile back that he had maybe 3 -5 months to go and that when it came time for Hospice that he would post to the Open Thread. By my reckoning he may be at about the 3 – month period.
Every morning when I meditate I send Good Energy to him and thank him for his presence here at CTH.

That makes me smile. PHC has been a real uplifter and blessing in any/all threads in which he participates.

Interesting how we get to “know” each other in treehouses. In many ways, I feel closer to treehouse “friends” than real life political friends.

We are more open in some ways online and my treehouse friends are 100% MAGA and Trump supporting since 6/15/15 which is different than most of the “real life” people I know via politics. And we also share religion, prayer and tidbits from our “real life”.

Actually, a Lot of Very Real Life has happened online with my treehouse friends! And more sharing about our time working for and supporting President Trump than I share with anyone else. Treehouse friends have really been in the trenches together in this political fight.
