I have faith in the President. He knows that the border funding “compromise” by itself, with nothing else done is not going to cut it. He will have to actively spend more $ than the compromise, there’s no other way. At that point, however he chooses to go about attempting to do that, this will end up in court. Now, it’s just a matter of the attorneys deciding what to advise him on. He needs to take whatever course of action NOW which will best position him to win in the courts eventually. Whether that is rejecting the compromise or accepting it. This is the fallout of the 40 house seat pickup by dems, and the lack of winning more senate seats A massive defeat for the country, no sugar coating that.

Subhas Chandra Bose was Indian freedom fighter against British Empire. He made small Indian army to fight against British empire and he did not believe in Gandhi principle of non-violent moment. Bose has seen opportunity in WW 2 when British were busy in another war that it’s time to throw British out of India and he needs help from anyone who can support in money, arms, technology and anything to fight aginst British empire in India. He had nothing to do or did not care Europe or American WW 2 involvement. He never agreed on Hitler or Himmler act in Europe. America also worked with Stalin in WW 2 and did not mean US agreed with Stalin ideology. Regan also worked Pakistan and Freedom fighter (Taliban) against USSR. Pak became nuclear country when Reagan was president but Regain focus was only USSR that time.
My point is simple that things are more complicated than it seems.

SR’s comment includes the truth, but I want to emphasize just how wrong the content is in the big type above.

India was part of the Britsh Empire. Indians fought against the tyrannical Axis powers.

The joker on the t-shirt, and collaborating with Hitler and his NAZIs, was a rebel, not head of state. Hitler sent him to Japan. He formed a rebel army which fought with the Japanese, invading India, but was defeated and kicked out.

FTA “The new research, from an economics professor at the University of Bologna and another at Harvard Business School, indicates that “strict” voting laws of the type implemented in those ten states do not have a statistically significant effect on voter turnout.”

Well voter ID laws don’t stop Democrat voter turnout because Democrats are counting the votes. In California the illegal aliens get driver licenses that state on them that the card is for driving purposes only and may not be used for identification. My guess is that language is just ignored at Democrat voter registration online and in person and at same day registration voting polls! This is the main reason the Democrats are opposed to the wall they know they can get illegals registered to vote no need for amnesty! Godspeed President Trump!

Not really. I think that senators Cory Booker (Empty Suit II) and Kamala Harris (Fake Black), are being put in place to draw as many male and female black voters away from PDJT as possible. D-Rats know that 98% of blacks blindly voted in 2008 and 2012 for a black candidate despite his being a well known pathological liar.

The D-Rats believe that smaller numbers of black votes for PDJT in 2020, plus some old fashion voter fraud, will combine to deliver a win for the pre-determined (non-black) D-Rat candidate. I also expect a Hispanic candidate to be added to the roster soon to better execute their new splitter strategy. By the way, their fake American Indian is already in place.

There have been numerous discussions about PTrump being put in place by God, usually with the supposition that since God put PTrump in place, God will control and ensure PTrump’s agenda will be successful. After all, “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

What’s missing here is knowledge of God’s purpose by establishing PTrump. God also established Obama, Pol Pot, Hitler, Lenin, Genghis Khan, Mussolini, Caligula and other bad characters.

Perhaps God establishes bad characters so mankind can look at them and decide to turn to God. Perhaps God established PTrump so that we can see the difficulties inherent in fighting evil . . . not necessarily to be wildly successful . . . and turn to God.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land.

We don’t know . . . but rather than our main focus being on predicting PTrump’s successes or failures, we should be turning toward God and praying . . . that is certainly God’s desired response. But that does not preclude our happiness and thanks when PTrump wins one for God, country and flag!

President Trump has identified already appropriated funds that can be used to fund more of the Border wall AND laws already on the books that avoids having to go to Congress for permission. In addition, the D’s have put no limits on the type of barriers that can be constructed with the $1.375b – which is a win from where they were to start. With regard to the #of beds, the D’s reduced the number of beds by 8k, but there is a caveat… there are other funds that can be used for this purpose also. So, the D’s get a show win but really didn’t win.

This exercise has put the true nature of the D’s front and center – they are opposed to the USA being a sovereign nation and refuse to protect its citizens.

The current funding bill only covers the remainder of this fiscal year. The battle will resume for the next fiscal year.

Don’t forget that the 9th Circuit has already agreed that DHS can go ahead and has the right to ignore environmental laws.

Do not be shocked if President Trump signs this bill. Do not be shocked when you discover that the Wall has been built despite Congress best efforts to stop him 🙂

And then there is our fearless Senate leader this morning in his opening remarks–Mitch gave high praise to the negotiation team and stated that the Democrats had walked back their 2 extreme positions of not more than 1 dollar for new border barrier funding and a statuary cap of number of detainees. So although he has not read the final details he believes we’re good to go and will avoid another shut down.

Say what!?!? 1.38 billion (24% of what PT requested) for 55 miles of barrier and no lower cap on detainees(which was not ever mentioned until this weekend) and Mitch thinks this is a great “compromise”? That a boy Mitch! That’s backing the president alright!

Let me see if I’ve got this right–here we are 3 days from shutdown, again, and no one has read all the funding bills, much less all the changes, additions, rewording, and etc to know what is now buried in them. Same true for this “great compromise”. And sometime late Friday, the very last day possible, this congressional Hail Mary funding smorgasbord of mishmash will be passed and presented to President Trump to sign–“or shutdown is all his fault”.

Two, they are setting up far left loony candidates to frame 2 or 3 (conservative Democrats) to construct an image of “Moderate” by contrast, hoping that one of those2 or 3 can catch fire and win over independents.

The lies began immediately: He is an anti-Semite. Lie. He took a bust of Rev. Dr. King out of the oval office. Lie. He is a White supremacist. Lie.”

Anybody get the impression other countries are laughing at us as they see how well their front men and women are doing at undermining America?

  33. The Senate intelligence committee (both sides) is now admitting there was no collusion. Since we know that the surveillance of President Trump’s campaign began before the election, President Trump has every right to convene an investigation into exactly what evidence the DOJ and FBI relied upon to start the surveillance. If there was no credible evidence with which to start the surveillance, than those who initiated it should be brought to justice.

In addition, particularly loud-mouthed proponents of the investigation (like Senator Blumenthal) should be made to pay in some way for their totally irresponsible statements during the investigation. Senator Blumenthal even stated that the Russian collusion hoax was President Trump’s “Watergate moment”. This was a greivous falsehood that hurt the President and his party during the midterms. I would fully support the President demand that Senator Blumenthal be forced to resign for his actions.

The FBI and DOJ are the president’s adversaries. No investigation of or by them will yield judicially actionable results. The deep state coalition of Congress and the Judiciary is broad, deep, and strong.

      • The President’s hands were tied during the ongoing investigation. Once that is gone he can do whatever he feels is appropriate because those DOJ and FBI actors will no longer have that flimsiest of threats – obstruction of justice – to hold over his head. Those who refuse his lawful orders can be arrested and prosecuted for rebellion. If I were the malefactors, I would be worried, very worried at this moment.

I don’t disagree with the feasibility of your suggestion, but I agree with SD in believing Barr’s mission will be to trade justice for tranquility and the protection of the institutions of the FBI and DOJ.

Unfortunately, that will not address and remove the conspiratorial opposition to the President that characterizes goth organizations.

    • That’s not the issue. Think about what happened. President Obama’s administration spied upon the Presidential campaign of the rival party. This is such an affront to our form of government that it can only be excused (and rightly excused) if there was credible evidence supporting the surveillance. In fact, I would argue that the evidence used to initiate the surveillance would have to be a slam dunk because otherwise the party in power will always spy on the rival presidential campaign on some baseless pretext. Now it is the President’s turn. Make these malefactors pay.

      • This line of thinking is totally antethetical to our form of government. The issue has to be totally reframed. An investigation like this shouldn’t be started unless there is a really good reason for it. In fact, I would argue that the evidence relied upon has to present a fait accompli – that it is so egregious that once presented to the putative President he would have to resign. There isn’t anything even close to this. The surveillance and investigation was made up out of whole cloth and is thus a gross and criminal abuse of power. Everyone down to the press peddling this trash should be made to pay.

    4. BUT, border officials have said we need 5, so I (PT) have to declare an emergency so we can appropriate funds from DOD, etc…. Mulvaney explained this, and lawsuits cant stop it.

    • Because that wasn’t really their purpose (to negotiate on behalf of PDJT), there’s no satisfying answer to your question. The purpose of the negotiation was more to avoid another government shutdown than to comprehensively address border security. The GOP Senate lead was Richard Shelby (Alabama). The GOP House lead was Kay Granger (Texas).

If the President doesn’t like their deal he can either refuse to sign it, or express his displeasure, sign it anyway, and take Executive Action outside the deal. I think the latter is more likely since President Trump said, “I don’t think there will be a shutdown” this morning.

It appears inevitable that the President will have to take Executive action to reprogram existing appropriated funds to complete a proper wall, and that will create a barrage of leftist lawfare. The President should get on with it because it’s not going away and it will take time to get a favorable (hopefully) legal resolution.

I anticipate the lawfare will be carefully conducted in leftist-friendly courts and involve halts on all elements of the Presidents Executive action(s), with the desired obstruction being successful until the SCOTUS rules.

  41. Hey guys. Long time no talk. So busy lately! Just wanted to throw something out there for ya.

I notice that people I see on FB and Twitter who voice political views will NEVER change in terms of being a liberal or being a conservative. If they are vocal, they are typically set in stone with their belief system.

But at the end of the day, do you want to know why I feel 100% that Trump will not only be reelcted, but will be overwhelmingly reelcted – think Reagan?

There were a LOT of people out there, call them Never Trumpers or whatever, that chose not to go to the polls or might have even voted against him because they either didn’t like him being “rude” or, more importantly, didn’t trust him as the real deal. In other words, many people I know didn’t vote for him because they felt he wasn’t truly going to govern as a conservative.

Well guess what folks. NeverTrumpers are jumping on board the Trump Train at record numbers. In just two years, Trump has proven that love him or hate him, he is governing as at true conservative. So expect a landslide in 2020!

My brother was always a conservative whereas I was a Democrat for a long while. I thought he would be happy to find out that I had voted for Trump in the 2016 election. He told me he voted for Hillary! But I think he’ll vote for Trump in 2020. He’s a busy guy and didn’t take the time to research and get to know Trump the way we did. I watched all of the rallies, every single one. All of the interviews. Now the benefit of Trump as President is very evidence.
