Correct, paulraven1. As long as there are MAGA supporters, as long as there are white people, as long as there are men, as long as there are Christians, as long as there remain any red states such as KY where the Covington H.S. kids are from, the attacks will never end. Never.

We are in the fight or our lives. They label us, threaten us, surround us and scream us into silence. We have to decide if we’re going to take it, The Catholic Church has to decide if they are going to cave on this as they have on other forms of child abuse and the social justice flavor of the day. People of faith in general have to decide where they stand and then take that stand.

They call us ‘toxic’. They call our unborn ‘illnesses’. Christianity is now equated to Nazism. Hard work and desire to provide for our families, protect our families and pass along the fruits of our labors to our families is racism and bigotry. The Speaker of the House plots every day on how to overthrow our President’s Administration without any evidence to support her rage and insanity. Congress members demand billionaires be taxed at 70% and ultimately be broken, all the while they gladly sell their votes to those same billionaires.

We have to decide if we’re going to take it.

the bill maintains abortions as legal within 24 weeks of the start of a pregnancy – “or at any time when necessary to protect a woman’s life or health.’’ Late-term abortions had previously been authorized under state law if they meant saving the life of a woman.

The measure, which takes effect immediately, expands access to abortions by authorizing other health professionals – beyond physicians under a 1970 state law that came three years ahead of the landmark Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision – to perform abortions. Physician assistants will be permitted to also carry out surgical abortions and licensed midwives and nurse practitioners can do nonsurgical procedures using medications if they are “acting within his or her lawful scope of practice,” according to the legislation.

Wow. At 24 weeks the baby is pretty much fully formed and just needs a little more time to be reliably viable, but some of those 24 week old babies can actually survive if born/removed.

New York, the baby killing state. Shameful.

Abortion is legal at 24 weeks almost everywhere in the US – what NY was expanding was abortion up until 40 weeks (delivery) for any reason.

There are states where you can get an abortion up to delivery already – that’s how there are those clinics in some states that exist solely for that reason.

It’s always been a lie that abortion was limited to three months.

Americans for some reason don’t understand this.

          Worse than I knew.

I was a dummy Dem when I was younger. I remember thinking that if I ever had an accidental pregnancy (which fortunately I never had) I would have an abortion. I didn’t at any time consider the actual procedure and what would be done to the unborn baby, I was only concerned with what I myself would experience. My mindset was probably typical of abortion seekers.

At some point I started to learn more about the abortion procedure and what it does to the unborn baby. I came to the conclusion that it’s torture. It’s barbaric and there’s really no excuse for it except possibly in those very very rare cases where the mother will die or the baby is a product of incest or rape. The vast majority of women who have abortions do so because they simply do not want to have a baby. It’s unfortunate that they did not take care to prevent the production of the baby in the first place. Birth control was limited in earlier decades, it’s totally abundant now, super easy to acquire and easy to use. I always say women will spend more time on their hair and nails than they will preventing an unwanted mistake baby. If more focus was on the procedure, injecting chemicals into the baby, puncturing its head, and basically ripping it apart to suction it out … I think fewer women would have abortions. Abortion “rights” people never want to show you what happens and it’s easy to ignore it. That’s what I did for so many years. My eyes are opened now.

The “health of the mother” exception is a loophole that abortionists can drive a truck through. It includes the woman’s mental well-being, so if she feels anxiety due to worry about the pregnancy, she can get an abortion right up to the delivery date. That’s why the abortion industry wants it in law.

        • That’s exactly right.
          Everyone knows Roe v Wade.
Not many know Doe v Bolton – a companion decision decided the same day as Roe v Wade and it defined health so broadly it could mean absolutely anything. Roe seemed to many as a compromise… Doe was radical and allowed abortion for any reason whatsoever under the cloak of ‘health of the mother’ up to ninth month of pregnancy (if a woman could afford it).

When colleges dropped all standards, they admitted so many easily indoctrinated lackwits.

It’s true. Once it was assumed that everyone should go to college, the colleges had to remove anything that could even remotely be considered academic rigor or standards to keep the kids in school.

Factor in already rampant grade inflation, and we’ve produced millions of college graduates that have less impressive academic achievement and knowledge then an a 1950 high school graduate.

These dubiously “educated” college graduates were smart enough to absorb the indoctrination baked into the dumbed-down programs/classes, resulting in the idiot suburban voters (who feel smart because they listen to NPR) that returned the House to the Democrats, breathlessly voted for Obama in 2008, and have turned CO blue and NC purple.

Elias, head of the Perkins Coie LLP law firm’s political law practice, is among the Democratic Party’s top campaign finance experts and a recognized power-player at the highest levels.

Anyone who thinks someone like paulraven1 isn’t a patriot who believes in America First principles is blind.President Trump always said during the campaign that this is a movement and he is but the messenger.I too disagree with the President on the way he has treated the issue of illegal immigration. His campaign rhetoric was much tougher than his proposals to date.I believe that granting an extension to any illegal is amnesty and that amnesty cheapens the value of our citizenship and is harmful to our national sovereignty.I think his compromises hurt his chances for reelection particularly with those first time and disillusioned voters who came out in 2016 primarily because of President Trump’s very strong stance on illegal immigration. There are two years to go and much,of course can happen. But if amnesty is granted and only a relatively small percentage of the wall is built,I believe our MAGA cause will be in trouble.

At any rate I would hope that differences of opinion within the movement would at least be respected in the hopes of keeping us all united in fighting together to stop the spread of globalism and socialism. There are some on here whose vitriol against people on their own side is much worse than what is reserved for our foes.In many cases calling someone a troll is both a knee jerk reaction and an intellectually lazy exercise. At the very least be cognizant of the fact that our electoral success in 2016 was based on razor thin margins in several key States. We should not be in the business of creating an environment where we drive people away from the movement.we and the survival of the nation we love cannot afford to do so.

I beg to differ here on one point. In the campaign he was very strong on illegal immigration generally BUT on DACA he was ALWAYS a little ambivalent . He expressed some sympathy for young people brought here as small children and didn’t know any other country.

And when Sessions wanted to raise the Constitutionality , since DAPA was struck down, POTUS threw it back to congress for six months to see if they could fix it. An of course they fumbled it again.

And as to vitriol on this board——it strikes me that we are behaving much like the GOP. The Dems stick together———–but the GOP jump in and eat their own ! Witness Stephen King.

The underlying reality is that the Europe with which America has dealt is waning demographically, ceasing to exist culturally, and is dead politically, never to return.

What does it matter whether Germany and others devote 2% of GDP to the military instead of 1.2%? What would they buy with the rest and, far more important, what would they do with it?

What do they have in themselves to do for themselves, never mind for us?

General James Mattis wrote in his letter of resignation as Secretary of Defense that “our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships.” That was never so, and is less so now.

It does make perfect sense according to my research from years ago and the more resent information on the AWAN BROTHERS.

First “Hernández wrote a book about the drug cartels. What make Los Señores del Narco[ different was linking the Sinaloa cartel, the biggest criminal organisation in the world – to the leadership of the Mexico.” It was originally published in 2010.

Second remember the 2017 story from Politico: The secret backstory of how Obama let Hezbollah off the hook

Hezbollah is IN South America and is financing terrorism via Drug trafficking.

In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation….

They followed cocaine shipments, some from Latin America to West Africa and on to Europe and the Middle East, and others through Venezuela and Mexico to the United States. They tracked the river of dirty cash as it was laundered by, among other tactics, buying American used cars and shipping them to Africa. And with the help of some key cooperating witnesses, the agents traced the conspiracy, they believed, to the innermost circle of Hezbollah and its state sponsors in Iran….

Ayman Saied JoumaaAccused drug kingpin and financier whose vast network allegedly smuggled tons of cocaine into the U.S. with Mexico’s Zetas cartel and laundered money.

The Colombia and Venezuela investigations linked him to numerous international drug smuggling and money laundering networks, and especially to one of the biggest the DEA had ever seen, led by Medellin-based Lebanese businessman Ayman Joumaa.

Joumaa’s network rang alarm bells in Washington when agents discovered he was working with Mexico’s brutal Los Zetas cartel to move multi-ton loads of cocaine directly into the United States, and washing $200 million a month in criminal proceeds with the help of 300 or so used car dealerships. …

That links right up to the Daily caller article: House IT Aides [Awan Brothers] Ran Car Dealership With Markings Of A Nefarious Money Laundering Operation
Luke Rosiak has written a series of articles (see links at end of this article) that show ONE IN FIVE Democrats used these spies INCLUDING “Three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. Radical Islam makes inroads among Latin America’s Native peoples

2009, Colombian authorities dismantled a network of narcotraffickers linked to Islamist terrorists. Funds derived from the narcotrafficking are believed to have been diverted to Hezbollah – an Islamist terror organization….

The growth of Hezbollah is due to the strategic alliance reached by enemies of the United States. These are President Ahmadinejad of Iran and President Chavez of Venezuela. The latter has expressed support for the Shiite Muslims in Iran and Syria and allows them free sway in Venezuela – an important source of petroleum to the U.S. The Venezuelan government owns CITGO, a network of gasoline stations and refineries in the U.S.

Efforts to convert native peoples to Islam have been fostered by Iran with investments of money and other resources. The Gateway Pundit article also mentions Janet Napolitano.
She is an interesting addition to the story so let’s go back in time to see what she was up to as head of DHS under Obama.
    …..

Out of one side of her mouth Janet Napolitano was stating: ” The terrorist threat to the U.S. homeland has continued to “evolve” and may now “be at its most heightened state” since the September 11, 2001” Out of the other side of her mouth she is busy assuring Americans that the southern border is “more secure than ever”. So secure in fact that Homeland security is going to DECREASE the southern border patrol by “several hundred agents.”

Here was the reality on the border while she was in charge:

    The Border Fence Morphs

    The original version:

To his right stands a steel wall, 20 feet high and reinforced by cement-filled steel piping. To his left another tall fence of steel mesh. Ten yards beyond, a shorter cyclone fence is topped with jagged concertina wire….

“This wall works,” says Mr. Bernacke. “A lot of people have the misconception that it is a waste of time and money, but the numbers of apprehensions show that it works.”

The triple-and double-layered fence here in Yuma is the kind of barrier that US lawmakers – and most Americans – imagined when the Secure Fence Act was enacted in 2006.

The law instructed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to secure about one-third of the 1,950-mile border between US and Mexico with 700 miles of double-layered fencing – and additionally through cameras, motion sensors, and other types of barriers – by the end of the year to stem illegal immigration.

Bankrolled by a separate $1.2 billion homeland security bill, the Secure Fence Act would, President Bush said in 2006, “make our borders more secure.” …

IMO, one would have to be unbelievably naive not to realize the Cartel’s are throwing money at our politicians (and some law enforcement) like confetti.

Yes, please notice all the illegal sanctuary cities. They are run by the cartel. Why has this been allowed to continue? Even in Texas?

The Cartels OWN Colorado then. The biggest ‘controversy’ in Denver is a “Safe Injection Site” . It legalizes Heroin, Meth, Cocaine at least if you inject yourself at one of the “Sites”. Vancouver BC is the only other one in the Northern Hemisphere. Vancouver has 6 sites and the Mexican Cartels are everywhere selling drugs. Our completely Democrat cabal of a state is expected to approve this scheme.

I don’t think he should give them 48 seconds… let alone 48 hours. What many of them said and encouraged people to do was in many cases criminal.

Yes, I’m not happy with the ultimatum either. Too much bluster these days. Just do it. But if he does wait, and they don’t retract, that may build his argument for malice?

Lurking Lawyer here. The 48 hours is a fairly standard tactic in libel/defamation litigation. (Libel is a written defamation, defamation alone is verbal. Lotsnof examples of both in the Covington situation.) I looked the tactic up to refresh my memory.
Against private citizens you only have to show negligence about the facts—not even gross negligence ‘knew or should have known’. (Against public figures you have to prove actual malice based on the NYT v Sullivan SCOTUS ruling.)
Not responding to notice of libel/defamation in 48 hours ‘proves’ negligence and makes the case easy to win. Note that Barnes has also specifically targeted the Muslim Somali MN congresswoman with such a notice.

This kid is far wiser than his years. I’m curious to see what Treepers think of it. Something about it irks me this interview and I can’t quite put my finger on it yet. Savannah assumes the premise that Phillips had some legitimate purpose in his actions, when actually he is the aggressor who initiated “the” “conflict”. And also it’s absurd to imply these seasoned adult rabble rousers could be intimidated by a pack of kids.

The piece at the end of it with Hoda and the other anchor irked me as they were so anxious to “wrap it up” and completely gloss over any role the media played (99.99%) , as if it wasn’t worth mentioning. And that hugging vignette – what was the purpose of tacking that on? To imply these people really do have “work” to do in order to redeem themselves. In other words, the out of town agitators CAN teach them about ‘tolerance’ and train them to be “who we are”. No mention of the agitators turning the town upside down with their “visit”.

Well, it’s the interviewee’s responsibility to raise these issues and challenge the media. Honestly, we send young men about his age into battle to die for America. This is a war, and this was a battle. If he wasn’t aware of this, he should have been coached to bring up these issues and confront this leftist warrior. It’s a war — don’t enter the fray unarmed and unprepared. So many times we defer to the interviewer’s prerogative to set the Narrative. Take it away! Stop playing nice! Question them!

Well since it was common knowledge that Lauer had a rape lock installed on his office door and at best came onto/groped endless NBC employees and Hoda and Savannah pretended they were shocked about Matt’s behavior when he was fired.

Savannah and Hoda are lying scum.
