“Over the past two years, as I have moved to break the betrayal of my own silences and to speak from the burnings of my own heart, as I have called for radical departures from the destruction of Vietnam, many persons have questioned me about the wisdom of my path. At the heart of their concerns this query has often loomed large and loud: ‘Why are you speaking about the war, Dr. King?’ ‘Why are you joining the voices of dissent?’ ‘Peace and civil rights don’t mix,’ they say. ‘Aren’t you hurting the cause of your people,’ they ask? And when I hear them, though I often understand the source of their concern, I am nevertheless greatly saddened, for such questions mean that the inquirers have not really known me, my commitment or my calling. Indeed, their questions suggest that they do not know the world in which they live.”

“Dr. King then turned his full wrath against the war. He insisted that “we have no honorable intentions in Vietnam” and that “we have been wrong from the beginning of our adventure in Vietnam.” He alleged that the United States tested its latest weapons on Vietnamese peasants “just as the Germans tested out new medicines and new tortures in the concentration camps of Europe,” and he decried “the concentration camps we call fortified hamlets” in South Vietnam. Dr. King’s speech as merely an antiwar statement. It reflected his widening worldview that chronic domestic poverty and military adventurism overseas infected the wealthiest nation on earth just as indelibly as did deep-rooted racism.”

The wall has become the primary ideological linchpin for victory or defeat in the current political war between patriots and leftists. Every day, the stakes become higher and more publicly visible. No short-term compromise appears likely.

The Dem leadership is flummoxed, fixated on negativity with no plans or reasonable responses/counter-offers to the President’s entreaties. They are frontally and aggressively challenging the President, apparently forgetting that he has often validated his statement, “I say what I mean and I mean what I say.”

IMO, the President will soon cease suffering the Dem fools, and he will implement his extraordinary Constitutional powers to build the wall. The current foolishness will end amidst the screams and tears of the vanquished leftists. They should have seen it coming.

The Wall is symbolic for national sovereignty, a concept the left is so desperate to erase in their quest for a New World Order.

Globalists need to consolidate power by coralling all peoples into a muddy, gray “collective.” No more colorful and vibrant nations with borders to determine their own destinies.

This is why the UN’s Open Borders Migration Pact is being advanced, with a deaf ear to unwilling nations such as France. Self-determination is a no-no.

Submission to a Globalist collective is key to their NWO. UN’s Agenda 21 chose the environment (aka climate worries) as a crutch to advance this quest for power.

“- – – told me that at our Laredo Texas terminal they had two drivers quit to go drive tankers for the oil fields. Drivers are making six figures for doing that work. Both drivers were back with our company within two weeks. Both had been stopped in Texas by roadblocks set up by armed Mexican Cartels. They were told that the road they were driving was only for the use of the Cartel and if they were caught on it again they and their families would be killed”

“There’s a certain unevenness here about how you investigate campaigns,” Graham said, adding that he believed there was “100 percent” a double standard between how the bureau handled the investigation into Clinton compared to investigating the Trump campaign.

The current media is ,actually, quite a bit different from that of the Vietnam war.

The conservative media, like CTH, was non existent during that war; but, is, today, alive and well and has been alive and well for quite some time.

When you evaluate “the media,” I think you need to include the effect of the conservative media, too.

PS. the “I was a recon ranger” was an even bigger tip off 😉 You can be tasked with recon; you can be Marine recon; you can be an Army Ranger….but they all have never called themselves “recon rangers”…that’s usually something made up by people who don’t do any of those.
True story: my eldest nearly squared off with some dude at a club who was bragging about being a “Special Forces recon ranger” — she was just back from her second tour and of course knew actual people who were SF, Marine recon, and Army rangers, so she called him out as a liar…and then drama ensued because a great way to publicly lose one’s man card is to be called out by a short young woman who can show her military ID and who is calling you a fat liar, and who is not afraid of you or your threats. It was kinda funny really.

I belonged to a mixed social group that was meeting for supper at a restaurant and I got there a little late. I was the only veteran (never left the States) in the group and when I arrived 3 women swarmed me at the door, excited like they met a movie star. A new 40 ish male member had been thrilling, the women especially, the group with his tales of combat in Vietnam. I asked him his age and he would have been 13 or 14 years old the last year of the Vietnam War. (1973 – 1974). He also talked about parachuting out of airplanes at 250 mph? I always thought Airborne units parachuted out at something like 100 – 110 mph? Almost every single sentence he uttered had “my men and I” in it somewhere. I was never in combat and I never parachuted and I didn’t have enough time to get this “hero” to stick to a Vietnam time frame. I was going to call him on his lying but I wanted to make sure there wasn’t a way he could claim he was on a secret CIA mission to Vietnam in the 1980s. It’s like Woodstock … 450,000 attended and probably 2,000,000 Americans claim they were there. I would never want to falsely claim someone who served with honor, didn’t. I’d rather err on the side of caution.

A “Vietnam Era” Veteran is defined as any Veteran who served during the official time frame of the Vietnam War anywhere in the world.

Those who served in-country Vietnam have a longer period of time in which they qualify to be a Vietnam Era Veteran (from 1961 to 1975) while those who did not serve in-country have a shorter timeframe in which they can be considered Vietnam Era Veterans (from 1964 to 1975).

They will make up any kind of bunk to justify the removal of our lawfully elected president. Trump’s life is also in mortal danger. It’s a good thing he has many levels of security protecting him.

Hearsay or anonymous sources are used by such the legion of those nattering nabobs of Trump negativism. They are paid to perform their jumping jacks of lies when their Deep State handlers pull their strings. The LA Times, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Yahoo, The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, and a legion of other liberal mouthpieces are now constantly spewing slanted, anti-Trump hatred. They hope one of their bombshells will eventually explode and do damage.

None of their bombs have hit the target and they can’t stand the fact that President Trump is still standing.

Congratulations to the social media gods.

Zerohedge is running a piece this morning that’s more international connecting the dots with the Mueller team. I have no idea how accurate it is, but it’s an interesting read. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-01-21/death-russiagate-mueller-team-tied-mifsuds-network-0

I am an optimistic pessimist who has a hereditary viciously mean streak, but learned as a youngun to be gentile unless that meanness is truely required.

The video will make you smile and give you hope: “My red hat turned her into a b-ch!”

Race relations were coming along fine and then comes this foreign born commie and screws it all up.
        Pure Alinsky

He empowered the Muslimes–Benghazi, Syria, Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan at the expense of American lives

I just can’t believe that can be allowed. Are these people going to get anything accomplished other than the endless attacks. What a sad state of affairs.

Working beneath the surface is the Fabian Society’s principles of creeping socialism with the aim for eventual communism. To accomplish their goals, they must work first through the compliant Democrat Party because the public would reject outright communism. One of the society’s tactics to meet their goals is the use of overwhelming harassment and gradual wearing down of the general public psyche. They’ve been working here for many years, but we are now actually able to see their goals beginning to take shape.

I would say so! Even President Trump describes these matters in terms like, “This is so sad!” I can think of better adjectives than that.

Sadness and outrage are two very different emotions. And I am flat-out outraged at the level of apathy and ignorance in our great country. It is a disgrace!
