    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/01/key_house_dem_committee_chair_refuses_to_rule_out_border_wall.html

    Excerpt:

Yesterday, on ABC’s This Week, the chair of the House Homeland Security Committee – with jurisdiction over a wall – expressed an unwillingness to oppose a wall without reservations….

……..This is entirely consistent with the “Xanatos Gambit” strategy that President Trump seems to be employing.

      • Or even better a virtual wall especially in those desolate flat areas far from civilization where no one would ever considering crossing. Woops, they can’t really say that in public, might be called on that concept. The flipping and flopping suggests some folk know their previous hi jinks aren’t working and are getting nervous. Drop your congressional critters Emails and phone calls. Even if they are swamp it may distract them in a little way from nefarious activity.

Constitution be damned, EO’s for everything. Declared emergencies for everything else. You make a good point. Sometimes we are so eager to correct the wrongs of the Obama years, the Bush Sr & Jr. years, well of all the Globalists/uniparty that we want to use the same methods but for good. No, we must go by the law to correct the wrongs and save our country or we will destroy our country in the process of saving it.

Now, there is debate at times if the process is Constitutional or what President Trump can/can’t do lawfully. I am not sure that I have seen many/any arguments here for literally ignoring the Constitution do accomplish MAGA or drain the swamp or beat the globalists, etc. I have seen argument about what is most effective, what is long term and what is or is not Constitutional.

Debating what is and isn’t against the law/Constitutional is not the same as arguing for/against upholding/ignoring the Constitution. Do we truly have this latter debate I just missed those comments?

Yeah, I think there are SOME posters who get SOOO frustrated (understandably) by the blatant soft coup, etc. that they posts what I think of as ‘venting rants’.

“Military tribunals, lock em all up in gitmo, and throw away the key” is the gist, and usually start with
          “TRUMP should,…”.

I usually figure this is ‘venting’ just releasing pent up hot anger thats boiling over, in a somewhat receptive and understanding environment.

So yes, there ARE posts here basically saying President Trump should do things which are blatantly UnConstitutional.

I don’t have a major problem with such posts, venting is something we all need at times.

Know, so, the process is more important to you than saving the country? Justice takes a back seat to balanced trade? “rooting out NWO and Globalism” is accomplished by unilaterally throwing the conspirators in jail. How else could it be done? There is no functioning DoJ. With the “conspirators” running free, we see how that works out. Trump cant get very much done. He’s handcuffed. So, it’s only reasonable to do whatever it takes to defeat those who have taken over our country. If some rules have to be bent or broken, I’m fine with that. The alternative is unacceptable.

Yes, I think Trump should EO everything! Obama had a pen & a phone. So does Trump. He should also ignore all these illegal court orders, just as Lincoln did. If that is what it takes to defeat the DS, then go for it. We can worry about the rules later, after the DS is gone.

When your country has been literally taken over by nefarious people, it becomes paramount to overthrow those people. Nothing else matters. The Constitution means nothing if the country is gone.

Do you really want to die on that hill? “Geez, too bad the deep state is even more solidly in power, and the country as we knew it is gone forever, and Trump was hounded out of office & his family is in jail, but at least we made sure to abide by the constitution.” (s)

Do you think the deep state will honor the constitution? What has Trump gotten done in two years as far as crushing the deep state? Name one senior deep state criminal who has even been arrested, much less sent to prison. We have one year left. I trust Trump to return us to normalcy after he deals with the DS. I give him all the room he needs to win, no matter what he needs to do. Whatever it takes.

And just how does allowing the deep state to take over America & destroy it, along with the constitution, “defend” the constitution?

You would be correct & we would be in complete agreement IF practically the entire government wasn’t corrupt, compromised, and complicit. Yes, we have courts of law. Yes we have a process to root out corruption, yes we have deliberative bodies designed to prevent exactly what we know has been happening & is happening now.

So, what do we do when EVERY one of those safeguards is compromised & corrupt? What is the process you would recommend for maintaining the rule of law, when that very concept has been nullified by those who have taken over? Please tell me what remedies does Trump have to defeat this cabal? What good does it accomplish to self limit your methods of literally saving the country, while the enemy has no such limits?

I do not believe you understand the situation, or are misinterpreting what has been playing out for two years. With the election coming up in 2020, that means Trump has only one year at most to destroy the enemy. All of 2020 will be consumed by the election campaign. If he fails to at least neuter the DS, don’t kid yourself, he will not be re-elected due to massive election fraud.

There is no time to play games. If we want to save the country AND the constitution, we must have no limits on our ability to fight the DS. It’s an all or nothing situation. If Trump loses, the obama years will be nothing compared to what will come. The middle class will disappear, & we will quickly become a socialist hellhole. For me, saving the country is paramount. What ever it takes. Apparently you disagree. You and I should be fighting together, instead of fighting each other. We disagree on methods, we certainly agree on results. At least I hope so.

As James J. Harvey wrote in the introduction to A Nation At Risk: The Imperative For Educational Reform (which is the 1983 report of American President Ronald Reagan’s National Commission on Excellence in Education):

“If an unfriendly foreign power had attempted to impose on America the mediocre educational performance that exists today, we might well have viewed it as an act of war.”

The American education system has become another entity similar to the military-industrial complex. Not only it is an attempt (and pretty darned successful) at social engineering, it is an ongoing effort to fleece We The People for all the change in our pockets to enrich unions and politicians (I know, redundant).

Abolishing the Department of Education is what I was hoping Betsy Devos would initiate. She has been disruptive to a degree and the elite fear her. Sounds good to me.

(Posthumous hat tip to Dr. Jerry Pournelle for his efforts to change our education system and the Iron Law of Bureaucracy.)

Yore right but hard to see action being taken. We have passively watched as the left has attempted to take down the President, years of invasion by both Central Americans and middle eastern immigrants, the destruction of our education system, our courts becoming a joke (and dangerous) and a full out assault on white America.

We debate each issue as they come up and then move on to the next while the left continues to take ground and never retreats. The task of returning our country to what it was just 20 years ago seems impossible. One man, as in Donald Trump, no matter how smart and dedicated will defeat, long term, the thousands upon thousands of socialists embedded in our government and their masters. We aren’t even objecting in a meaningful way at this point.

OK, I found some more info in this guy. In this video he says he was in the Marines from 1972 to 1976. He calls himself a Vietnam veteran.

        Around the 1:09 mark

Problem is, the war in Vietnam was pretty much over by then and only a few Americans were still there. This is from the official Marine Corps History Volumes of the Vietnam war.

        >Vietnamization and Redeployment 1970-1972

Throughout 1970, U.S. Marine forces continued to withdraw from Vietnam. The new policy emanating from Washington was “Vietnamization.” With U.S. airpower and advisors, the ground war was increasingly turned over to the South Vietnamese. While the invasion of Cambodia was the major military undertaking of 1970, only a limited number of Marine aviation assets were involved. Marines still conducted aggressive campaigns against the enemy, most notably Colonel Edmund G. Derning’s 7th Marines participation in Operation Pickens Forest and Colonel Paul X. Kelley’s 1st Marines actions near Da Nang. But by the end of 1970, more Marines were leaving than arriving as replacements. On 14 April 1971, III MAF redeployed to Okinawa, and two months later the last ground troops, the 13,000 men of the 3d MAB, flew out from Da Nang.

Although Marine combat units were no longer in Vietnam, Marine advisors remained to assist the South Vietnamese. During the North Vietnamese 1972 Easter Offensive, Marine advisors played a pivotal role in repelling the Communist attacks. Captain John W. Ripley, Captain Ray L. Smith and Captain Lawrence H. Livingston each won the Navy Cross for their heroic contributions in stopping the enemy advances.<

So basically, after May of 1971 there were no Marine ground troops in Vietnam, only some advisors and embassy guards. Still not proof this Nathan Phillips guy was never in Vietnam but it's not looking good for his claim of being a Vietnam Veteran.

If Barr issues a final public report that exonerates PDT and Mueller doesn’t publicly affirm that report, the Dems will use his silent repudiation as a way to say PDT orchestrated the whole thing through his hand picked Ag and, in that case, a congressional investigation and potential impeachment proceeding is waranted given the DOJ’s cover-up. Since any Dem inquiry is only a 2020 campaign tool then the Russian collusion scam would have legs all the way through 2019 and 2020. Moreover, could it be Barr will deploy his exoneration exactly for the purpose outlined above and be an integral part of an on-going effort to take Trump down? Any thoughts on this theory?

Behind the scenes do the Democrats have confidence in the Barr and Mueller are good friends scenario? We will see how the confirmation votes breaks down to get an insight.

It doesn’t matter if Trump is exonerated by Barr/Mueller, the Dems will keep on keeping with their narratives until they are slowed down by some real justice and exposure of the truth that can’t be refuted.

The Islamists will take out anyone that is not Muslim.

There is not Left vs Right in Islam.

Islam doctrine is to wage war (jihad) until the whole world submits to Islam and Sharia is the ONLY Law in the Land, i.e., the whole earth aka One World Government.

According to Islam, there are only Dar al Islam (the house or abode of Islam) and Dar al harb (the house or abode of war).

When the whole world submits to Islam, there will be peace; hence, ‘the religion of peace’.

“the Islamists will try to take out the atheist Left.”

The Islamists have been practicing and perfecting this since 622 A.D.

Should they take control, what kind of success do you think the snowflake atheist American Leftists will have? (they’ve only been doing it for a little over 100 years)

As you said, the Left is atheist; Islam has a ‘God’.

They’re not allies. The Left is simply under a delusion they are. Osama bin Laden was quoted as saying he found evangelical Christians preferable to what he called licentious Godless liberals. Islamics believe all infidels should submit or be eradicated. The Left are similarly eliminationists but are too infused with their own fundamentalism of elimination to see how fast the Islamics would kill them if they could. They just know Islam hates America, and this excites them beyond the limits of rational thinking.

I remember with amusement the traumatic reaction of liberal New Yorkers and their children to 9/11. They couldn’t believe Muslims would harm them. So they internalized the attack as an attack against “Christian extremism”, imperialism and George Bush.

How quickly the MSM turns around from the obvious implication of Mueller’s calling Buzzfeed out for being inaccurate on Friday Night. By Sunday Morning, CNN’s Jake Tapper was asking Vic e President Pence for an explanation of HOW the Buzzfeed article was inaccurate in the view of Mueller. HUH? How would Pence know. As CNN constantly points out, Mueller is not reporting into Trump-Pence in any meaningful way.

So what Tapper should be doing is saying to Pence: “you know, we should be apologizing to you and POTUS for giving all the coverage we have given to the BuzzFeed article. We accepted it as gospel truth and it turns out not even your biggest litigation opponent, Bob Mueller, accepts the article. So, I promise you CNN is going to stop acting like judge, jury and executioner every time an unsupported claim is made and wait ’til the facts come out.”

The narrative-pushers are using every opportunity, as well as creating them, to try to associate the MAGA with “racism,” as if one has anything to do with the other. They continue to push that because they know the gullible have absorbed and accepted that message, despite the fact that it is completely false. (The activist involved may not have even realized that the youth were Catholic, but was probably antagonized by the red caps, just as intended by the last three years of the lamestream media’s non-stop smears of painting President Trump as a racist.)

So, this is just another opportunity to describe a group of wholesome young Americans as “racist” for their support of MAGA, President Trump, or anything pro-American.

For 70+ years we’ve lived in a public relations world: “Perception” IS reality.

It’s the full out, no holds barred assault of everything Judaic-Christian in this country. Marginalizing Christianity is the only way they can take it down. The analogy to this – 1930’s Germany. People should read about Hitler’s moves prior to WWll. The Holocaust was the desired outcome, but it didn’t happen without the moves Hitler and his Third Reich made in the 30’s.

It’s a matter of softening the people, through constant propaganda, marginalizing, denigrating, encourages the populace to dislike singled out groups in society.

Christians in this country are the only remaining threat to the Left – they’ve spent decades getting to the point of attacks and open warfare.

It’s a PsyOps campaign to demonize the traditional, morality based foundation of this country.

“The people in the West are actually ashamed of their religious affiliation and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or neutrally renamed as if they were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method one hides away the deeper moral value of theses celebrations. And those countries try to force this model onto other countries, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and primitivization of culture. This leads to a deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West.”

Of course limousine liberals promptly hijacked “the movement” to ensure that *only* minorities have opportunities- reverse discrimination- which of course led white folks to resent the hypocrisy. This entitlement mentality has set back race relations, and I’m sure that is as it was intended.

A citizen would not be able to challenge in a lawsuit due to the courts view of “standing”

        Barack Obama presidential eligibility litigation

By early 2012, dozens of lawsuits had been filed challenging Obama’s eligibility in states including North Carolina,[2] Ohio,[3] Pennsylvania,[4] Hawaii,[5] Connecticut,[6] New Jersey, Texas and Washington.[5][7] No suit or challenge resulted in the grant of any relief to the plaintiffs by any court or other body.

A major obstacle to most citizen suits has been lack of standing. In the initial wave of lawsuits challenging the validity of the 2008 presidential election, the only plaintiff who was a presidential candidate or presidential elector was Alan Keyes. The importance of the doctrine of standing was explained by Judge R. Barclay Surrick of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in dismissing one suit. He noted that one of the principal aims of the doctrine is to prevent courts from deciding questions “where the harm is too vague.” This was especially true for a presidential election, where a disgruntled voter who suffered no individual harm “would have us derail the democratic process by invalidating a candidate for whom millions of people voted and who underwent excessive vetting during what was one of the most hotly contested presidential primary in living memory.”[8]

Natural born is the key phrase. It applies to only people who were born in the United States to parents who were citizens at the time of birth. Not one parent, but both parents. The parents could be of foreign birth and have become citizens, but that must have occurred before birth of the child who is seeking the presidency. Unfortunately the precedent has been set by Barrack Obama and this has become an issue of political correctness. No one will make a ruling because they can’t bring themselves to say out loud that the 44th President of the United States was not eligible. It’s a mess that no one wants to investigate nor do they want to clear it up. It’s an issue that the Deep State would prefer that all of us would forget. This is the worst thing, in my opinion, that Barrack Obama did to America.

On a side note, no one knows where Barrack Obama was born as Donald Trump proved that the birth certificate in Hawaii was a forgery. So, who Obama’s parents were and where he was born still are not confirmed.

The good news is that obama being “allowed” to pretend to be president does NOT set any precedent. Just because say, a bank robber, is tried & gets off on a technicality, that doesn’t mean everybody gets to rob banks. I believe this MUST be cleared up because it’s the biggest crime in American history. It also is the “easy button” to erase every single thing he did, including two Associate Justices on the SC. How about Trump nominating three new justices!? Ultimately, it would be the downfall of the deep state as well, because it all would have to be revealed because they put obama there. It all ties together.

The law does NOT require the parents to be citizens. Only that they are subject to US jurisdiction. Children of legal immigrants with Green Cards are natural born citizens under the only SCOTUS ruling directly applicable to the question at issue.

The same ruling makes ‘anchor babies’ ineligible if both parents are not subject to US jurisdiction at the time of birth. Children of diplomats, illegal immigrants, non-green card holders, etc. are not eligible for birthright citizenship.,

No, being citizen is NOT sufficient to qualify. One must be a natural born citizen, born of two citizen parents who are thus under the jurisdiction of the U.S. government. The Founders recognized that the monarchies of Britain, France and Spain were not content with the United States being an independent nation built on citizens’ rights vs, the subjects of a King. In fact, the European powers used their bankers and navies to manipulate the U.S. through the Civil War and beyond. The Constitutional Republic was designed to prevent a president from seeking to reinstate a monarchy.

Obama pulled one over on the American public unless his father was Frank Marshall Davis, friend of his grandfather, a self-described Communist with a thick FBI file, and, according to Obama, his mentor during his pre-college years in Hawaii and referred to as “Pops” in his autobiography.

So if I am understanding correctly, Kamala Harris’ father, since he was NOT a natural born citizen of the United State when she was born, would thus negate her eligibility to run for President. The same would have applied to Barack Obama, whose father of record was a British subject when his son was born. It would appear that in Obama’s case, the Constitution was played with fast and loose to “shoe horn” him into the White House through the tenuous link that his mother was a natural-born citizen of the United States when Barack Obama was born.

If both parents came here legally, and did subject themselves to our govt and became citizens, their child is a natural born citizen.
If the parents were not citizens at the time, (they would still be under another country)even if the child was born in US, the child could be a naturalized citizen at some
point, but never natural born citizen which is requirement. (Anchor baby)

Thanks for your comment, lolli. It is slightly more complicated legally.
We start with A14, a post Civil War amendment specifically intended to prevent states from disenfranchising freed slaves, almost all borne in the US, and ‘subject to US jurisdiction’ via the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation that freed them.

A14§1 was carefully worded to specifically exclude Native American children borne on Indian reservations (whichndo not fully recognize US law to this day, hence the Indian gambling casinos everywhere as ‘reservation extensions’, and children borne here to foreign diplomats. Neither were ‘fully subject to’ US jurisdiction. The Native American thing was resolved in favor of cirizenship in 1924 by legislation, although arguably unconstitutional—but nobody challenges. The foreign diplomat exclusion remains.

Wong held that the child of Chinese immigrants legally in the US for many years but not citizens, was a natural born citizen BECAUSE the parents did no business withnor on behalf of the Chinese government, so had willingly and factually submitted fully to US jurisdiction.

The illegal alien birthright arguement is simple. Illegals cannot be deemed to have fully submitted to US jurisdiction, because if they had they would not also be here illegally. Never adjudicated by SCOTUS (yet). Is, however, an interpretation codified in in present US statutes. Hence a SCOTUS ruling is IMO necessary.

The State Election Board can refuse to put a person on their ballot…..or a persons in the electorial college can refuse cast vote because of lack of qualifications. Finally the people who vote can vote against….but we all know (qualifications) are too much for many voters to consider. Sorry……bottom line it would be up to us to make enough noise…..By the way the way that judge that ruled on “standing” …that one person could not show harm to ones self sufficient to overcome the many that voted for a candidate is…..BS….that is the type of BS we have been subjected to for decades. Everyone Who Takes on Trump Ends Up Crushed

    https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2019/01/21/untitled-n2539336

    QUOTE:

What is this eerie power Donald Trump has to select the perfect enemies, enemies whose own myriad failings often cause them to commit ritual suicide whenever they face him?

His latest victim is BuzzFraud, that listcicle-curating web site for millennial geeks that had the mainstream media in a 24-hour festival of onanism over a report so full of Schumer that even Mueller and his pack of Democrat activists had to shout, “Yo, chill.”

Nancy Pelosi made the mistake of buying her own hype and thinking she could go troll-to-troll against him. Big mistake. She thought she could high-hat him by kinda/sorta rescinding her State of the Union address invitation. “Take that!” sneered the mainstream media, pretending that her concern for security during the shutdown was the motivation and not her terror at the thought of the President having a huge audience hear him explain why the Democrat position of letting murderers, rapists, drug dealers and welfare cheats flood into our unprotected country is a bad idea.

So, Trump waits until she and the rest of her pals are on a bus ready to jet off to party in Europe with a fig leaf stopover in Afghanistan and then he pulls the plug. We get delightful footage of dejected ugly Americans filing off the bus, their boondoggle delayed until they do their damn job. Glorious.

See, Trump’s an equal opportunity brawler. It’s not just Democrats he smashes. It’s the Fredocons too. Take Mitt Romney, please, preferably to one of the Third World hellholes where he outsourced American jobs. He got crushed by Trump, and he’s still seething over how Trump publicly teased him with the Secretary of State job only to snatch it away at the last minute in front of everyone.

Then there’s Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit.

Remember Michael Avenatti? We don’t, but his creditors do. And Stormy Daniels? Last we heard she was at the Peppermint Hippo gentleman’s club in Rancho Cucamonga, trying to pay off her judgment to Trump a dollar-bill at a time shimmying to “Pour Some Sugar on Me.”

They keep lining up to take Trump out, and he keeps knocking them down. Name a significant feud he’s lost. You really can’t. It’s actually quite remarkable…

The Weekly Standard, dead. Trump, still president.

Kathy Griffin, career dead. Trump, still president.

Michael Cohen, aka No. 9575864, envying the dead. Trump, still president.

And thank goodness that Trump not only likes to fight but knows how to win. The GOP softies would have folded long ago in the face of media finger-wagging and howling Democrats. But not Trump. He enjoys crushing his enemies, seeing them driven before him, and hearing the lamentations of those who identify as women, as well as woke males who use Gillette products.“

The reason given was that it accumulates material like tumbleweeds and trash very quickly that defeat its purpose and are a constant maintenance hazard to the agents themselves. The new fence bollards are not ‘unclimbable, just much more difficult to climb, giving them time to respond to the those who still manage. The agents are the ones who wanted the see-through bollards rather than a solid wall because it’s safer for them to know what’s on the other side.

What do all of these people have in common? They have been, currently are and will continue to be symbols of a generalized conversation about social justice. All of their stories have been debunked, yet that will never stop the left from using them to continue to foment hatred and division.

I still see Michael Brown heralded a hero and a perfect image of racist police even though the truth came out that the officer did nothing wrong, even after a thorough investigation by Holder’s justice department. His parents have been invited to all sorts of prestigious events up to and including Hillary Clinton’s convention.

I still see Justice Kavanaugh being used as the prime example of male toxicity and white privilege even after almost every accusation that has come out has been thoroughly debunked. Dr. Ford has actually become the face of the metoo movement.

The Duke Lacross boys finally got their justice, but nothing compared to what they lost. I don’t even want to get into that, but it was the catalyst to lots of the “rape culture” hysteria going around till today. And no one, especially Nancy Grace ever apologized to them.

You know all the lies told about Trump yet they keep issuing their litany of racist, homophobic, anti-Semitic, sexual assaulter, blah blah blah even though none of those things are true.

The left is really showing their true colors when even though the facts are clear, they still want to hold onto this false narrative because it was so powerful to their “cause.” You watch. Even if these boys are vindicated 100%, they will still be a part of the “national conversation” horse hockey we’ve come to know and expect from the left. When knocking down every single fact they try to espouse about the case, they hold tightly to it even when the only thing they can cling to is that they are evil because they wore MAGA hats, participated at the March for Life, or that they got to a predominantly white school. This wont’ stop. There will be no apologies from the most progressive hateful leftists. I’ve seen lots of right leaners apologize and own up to it and to her credit, Jamie Lee Curtis apologized for her remarks. But will Kathy Grifiin? Nope. She’s still tweeting about it.

The most horrendous thing is that there are still countless Tweets out there calling for violence against these children, many from verified users. The tweets are still up, their accounts still verified. Still plenty defending inciting violence against kids because they dared to wear a hat supporting their President. It is infuriating. But it’s also exactly the type of thing that will get Trump reelected. I firmly believe that the silent majority is still here. I’m glad the Dems won the House. It will help show their true colors, but when the Presidential election comes, he will win bigger than last time!

Senator Lindsey Graham has the Dems all riled up again. They want Hillary’s crimes kept under wraps.

“The sleeper effect is quite useful for propagandists who disseminate disinformation. When we initially encounter claims distributed by a dubious source, we are likely to reject those claims. However, as time goes on, we might remember and propagate this falsehood without recalling the questionable source. Luckily, Hovland and Kelman did discover that giving the audience a quick reminder of the source helped them to recall its credibility.

How can we combat the sleeper-effect? There are several steps we can take.

Every single time you repeat information, whether in person or in an online forum, you should always mention where you encountered this claim and explain who originally said it.

If you cannot remember the source of a claim, use a search engine to find out if others have said something similar. After all, if you know enough about a claim to share it with your friends, you should be able to turn it into a Google search query. Even if you don’t find the original source of the idea, you will be able to figure out whether or not credible individuals have advanced similar ideas.

Whenever a friend or family member repeats information face-to-face or online, you should always ask where it was originally published. It is possible to ask this question diplomatically without seeming annoying or confrontational.’

There is a plan taking shape to defend the Covington kids : Jack Prosobiec, Will Chamberlain, Ali Alexaandra, CJ Pearson, and many others. They are pushing back on media, taking names, and organizing legal aide, educating kids on social media practices, and preparing for upcoming Town Hall. There will be a donations link available shortly (today or tomorrow) to help defray costs.

Someone posted some of Ali’s periscopes yesterday and I’ll put up more links.

Tucker will almost certainly lead with this tonite.
