#2 – Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard Announces Her Intent to Run for President in 2020…

Following the announcement last week that Senator Elizabeth Warren will run for the office of President in 2020, U.S. House Representative Tulsi Gabbard announces today she will also be a candidate; a formal announcement will be made next week.

Don’t count out Gabbard. She fits the profile of a more likeable candidate who can unite several Democrat tribes.

In my opinion, unlike Warren, when the dust from an aggressive primary run begins to settle, Gabbard will be in the final four. However, historically speaking, no house representative without any prior executive experience (Governor etc.) has ever been able to win the nomination.  More likely the DNC will use Gabbard as a splitter to select their preferred and pre-selected nominee.

.

(CNN) Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said Friday she will run for president in 2020. “I have decided to run and will be making a formal announcement within the next week,” the Hawaii Democrat told CNN’s Van Jones during an interview slated to air at 7 p.m. Saturday on CNN’s “The Van Jones Show.”

Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, currently serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. She is the first American Samoan and the first Hindu member of Congress. (read more)

Tulsi is a kind of basil, revered as sacred in India. The historical character Tulsi wanted nothing more than to serve Krsna, and asked to reincarnate as the Tulsi plant. At every meal, prepared with love and devotion, tulsi leaves are used for flavour, decoration and love of Krsna. The wooden twigs can be used as a toothbrush.

So far, the Dem’s primary debate stage looks vicious, yet hilarious and entertaining as they begin the attacks and take-down’s against each other.

Pocohontas with bugged eyes, skinny flailing arms and screeching. Kamela Harris, trying to be a voice-over of Michelle Obama, relying on that smokey-eyed stare, measured hatred and anger but plenty of gotcha questions, sniveling digs and insults, always trying to sound more enlightened than anyone else in a room. Now enters Tulsi and whatever she’s gonna bring to destroy her opponents. If she’s in there only as a splinter and 2020 is simply a warm up prelude to 2024, she may not get too nasty. If Biden gets in, they better put him down at the end away from Tulsi, you know, because of the fondling thing. The rest of the women won’t have to worry about getting inappropriately touched.

Hillary, Michelle, Chelsea, Oprah, Eric Holder, Cory Booker, Bernie, Michael Bennet, who knows who else gets in for sure, but the more the merrier. Liberal slugfests are always good for a laugh.

Is it true that our America is gone? And we are now facing the horrors of the EU life? Everyone is a racist bigot unless, of course, you are hating white people. The American taxpayer is the slave race to support the “huddled masses” of third world nations who have a “right” to citizenship??? That’s not my America – it’s not America at all. America is opportunity, not welfare. It’s learn our language, respect and assimilate to our culture and don’t expect to enforce the culture you came from. Activists have used, and are using, these migrants to force the socialist/marxist/communist agenda that was supported (and still is) by Obama. He built such a huge network of activist organizations, working in different aspects of govt and “charity” groups, that it’s like trying to fight an infestation of insects. We know they are all 501c organizations, but short of suing every one of them, how can they be stopped?

We can count on the establishment Dems doing their dirtywork on Tulsi in the primaries. She’s way too principled and decent for that party to not savage. Tulsi Gabbard will the best candidate in the dem 2020 field. Best in the sense that she actually has character, courage, and service in spades above the rest, plus she is articulate, poised, and attractive. And she would be a dangerous candidate in the sense that she can bring over moderate and folks in the middle to her side. Some may see her as the female version of o’rourke. But given that the main thrust of the democratic party spin up to 2020 is to drive further and further left, their machine will ultimately marginalize her.

And she was not in Syria specifically to visit Assasd. She was on a typical fact finding mission and the opportunity arose to meet with Assad so she took it:

“Initially I hadn’t planned on meeting him,” Gabbard told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “When the opportunity arose to meet with him, I did so, because I felt it’s important that if we profess to truly care about the Syrian people, about their suffering, then we’ve got to be able to meet with anyone that we need to if there is a possibility that we could achieve peace. And that’s exactly what we talked about.”

If our troops are sent to fight a war, it must be the last option. Not the first.”

Thank you so much for the link! I make the same mistake many others do about the Judiciary being the arbitor of the natural born question. Huldah is very clear.

So, according to the strict reading of the Constitution, Tusli Gabbard is not elligible because her father is a naturalized Citizen.

Now, when the Congress screwed up and declared that Obama was eligible, who has the check on them?

“This is NOT an issue for the federal courts to decide. That is because this is a “political question” – not a “legal question”. The power to make the ruling as to whether the president elect or the VP elect are qualified has been delegated to CONGRESS. Traditionally, federal courts have “abstained” from deciding “political questions”.

We study this in our first year constitutional law class, when we study judicial “abstention” from certain kinds of cases including cases which involve “political questions” or the exercise of powers delegated to the Legislative or Executive branches. When a power is delegated to one of the “political branches” (Legislative or Executive), the federal courts (the “legal branch”) have traditionally declined to interfere and substitute their judgment for that of the “political branch” to which the Power was delegated.

And what if Congress gives an ineligible person a pass – as they did with obama? WELL THEN, SHAME ON US – BECAUSE WE ARE THE ONES WHO ELECTED THOSE IGNORANT COWARDS TO OFFICE!”

Would there have been any timely options for Americans when Pelosi and others rushed their proclamation for the 2008 election?

Interesting link/comments to an article written on reddit one year ago under below title –
don’t want to place the link, who knows how much will load, but would be
      easy to find:

CMV: Tulsi Gabbard is a member of CFR- Council on Foreign Relations. She’s being primed for 2020 as controlled opposition to perpetuate the illusion of duality. The following are a series of observations from my recent post on r/conspiracy. I’m keen to be challenged so please don’t be shy.

      comment following article –

Gabbard belongs to Council on Foreign Relations –

“I’m sure there are individuals in the CFR who are more or less innocent, but you judge a tree by its fruits and the CFRs are telling:

Both Clintons. Zgbniew Brzezinski. David Rockefeller. George Soros. Obama. Colin Powell. Madeline Albright. John McCain. Rupert Murdoch. David Patreus. Condoleeza Rice. Dan Rather.

      Some historic names :

Henry Kissinger. Allen Dulles. John Rockerfeller.

They’ve been controlling the political dialogue since their inception, with a revolving door straight into the White House. You suggest I may be hasty in indicting her as controlled opposition before she’s done anything- I disagree. I’m being prudent, in delaying my endorsement until the concerns I have are addressed. I’d counsel you to remember Obama entered the public imagination in the same fashion:

…young idealistic scandal free gained plaudits through damning (and extremely well publicised) criticism of establishment foreign policy (Obama -Bush, Tulsi – Obamas)

      and of course…

      …member of CFR

It seems unlikely Gabbard will reach office and choose that point to disavow herself from the organisation that’s provided the apparatus for her predecessors. When she doesn’t, it’s a given she’ll proceed to fill her cabinet with the exact same CFR characters that have populated her predecessors. Voila! -synthetic change occurs and the false dichotomy continues.”

Tulsi Gabbard Is Not Your Friend

    https://www.jacobinmag.com/2017/05/tulsi-gabbard-president-sanders-democratic-party

    Excerpt:

If the glowing profiles of Gabbard are right, she stands poised to become one of the leaders of the Democratic Party. If so, progressives will have to drop any starry-eyed admiration, and take a good, hard, honest look at who Tulsi Gabbard really is.

Her rhetoric about Islam wouldn’t be out of place on a Republican debate stage. Her anti-interventionism is shot through with a pernicious nationalism. Her support for Modi legitimizes a leader with a record of enabling anti-Muslim brutality.

Sanders’s seal of approval shouldn’t be taken as the final word on Tulsi Gabbard. After all, should we really champion a presidential candidate who could easily have been slotted into a Trump cabinet?

Yup, they are lining up their spliiter group. We already know the play.

They had to start six months early on 2020, but the DIMs will be so sick and tired of all their grandstanding, and totally bored by election time, they will be screaming, “Get it over with already! We knew we wanted TRUMP 2 years ago!”

NO ONE will capture the attention of Americans who have watched VSG POTUS TRUMP wheel and deal for the past two years, getting major accomplishments and goals completed for America. Not letting ANYONE, ANYTHING, ANY COUNTRY, or their “leaders” push him around. He is STANDING TALL for AMERICA and REPRESENTING like no other “politician” in history EVER!

America is back in business and they all know it came with President TRUMP. He will be, exactly as he was last time, UNSTOPPABLE!

“…historically speaking, no house representative without any prior executive experience (Governor etc.) has ever been able to win the nomination.”

Although not from the House, Obama had zero executive experience and voted “present” 130-times the short period he occupied the Senate. Democrats don’t care about experience. They care about winning. Whatever horse looks like it will win – is the horse they will bet on.

The Democrats are back to being the war party. Garrard isn’t getting the nomination. However her purpose will be to peel away anti interventionist voters from Trump. Most of those voters have tired of rhetoric only and neocon appointees. Everyone here forgets Trump won win independents, traditional non voters, and blue collar union members. Tax cuts and “abortion, abortion, abortion” doesn’t win general elections anymore. Fortunately I think the President has figured that out, and why we’re leaving Syria. Pull out of Yemen and Afghanistan, Tulsi Gabbard’s run will be end soon enough.

It’s just a shame that America’s socialist prom queen, Alexandria Occasional-Coherent is too young to be her running mate …

It is characteristic of democrats to put a relative unknown in for their candidate, one that has bought in to the party line and cannot be attacked easily on record, plus now they have added the additional element of “oppressed” minority, which immediately invokes the “bigot flag” if one criticizes the person at all.

I think this will be their play against Trump. The only thing going against them is that the socialist “Bern” will not appeal to the overall majority, but that can change if this illegal alien situation is not brought to a firm resolution now, because the leftists can and will be cheating every which way to validate illegal votes (remember, “count EVERY vote cast” – this is the leftist rallying cry). Not going to be easy to defeat these people – pray HARD, starting TODAY (hopefully you are already!) – the sentence against their evil works has heretofore not been executed speedily (Eccl 8:11), which means they are fully emboldened to do evil.

A lot of these people are running for vice president, Beto included.

The likely nominee will be Kamala Harris. Don’t underestimate how racist and sexist Democrats are. The era of white male Democrats is over.

It doesn’t matter who the Also-Rans are. Hillary will be the candidate. She has never stopped running and she never will. She owes plenty of money to too many ugly people.

Tulsi is getting in quick ahead of a swarm of others. She has a better chance than most and Sundance has wisely rated her as one of the top four, however the field boils down. My expectation was that she would wait until 2024, but if she’s in this time it’s likely that she’s in it to gain experience for the next time round.
