  3. As I keep saying, every market crash since the creating of the Federal Reserve has been caused by the Federal Reserve. They are crashing this market on Trump’s watch just as I knew that they would. They are so damn predictable.
I am glad that it is happening now though rather than 2020 because it will give him time to turn things around. I really used to cringe when he and people here boasted about how great the stock market was doing, because the Fed can collapse it any time that they chose. It takes a little while for interest rate rises to take affect, but take affect they always do.
On the plus side the President has already put it out there that the Fed is wreaking his economy so he may be able to hang the blame just where it belongs. The Fed.

I disagree that the Fed is alone in creating market woes. Their actions are well telegraphed and know actions. The market crushing volatility present in the market is not induced by the Fed Rates, but very rich entities using super computer based algorithmic trading. They can set parameters to cause panic selling and euphoric buying at will, based upon: headlines, valid economics and practically anything in between to create the desired narrative or exchange of money. These swings can be done narrowly within a few sectors or across the board. The magnitude of the swings have far to wild to be caused by the Fed and also show too much of pattern to not be purposely induced by folks with allot money as well as trading tools able to cause such rapid changes.

“Based on HEADLINES”, you say? These algorythmic traders can’t /don’t create the HEADLINES, but we all know who does!

Talk about your rigged game, I’d rather play ‘find the lady’ (3 card monte) with a street hustler; at leadt there is (or should be) NO illusion that your going to win. And the street grifter looks you face to face, while he steals your money.

So, yeah, there are many working to ‘crash the market’ to hurt America and our Potus.

The question is, has he done ENOUGH with deregulation and trade, to offset these entities ability to crash the market?

Perhaps THIS is one reason he has been working so hard, to insulate the e onomy from beibg affected by these nefarious entities?

Agree the traders don’t create the headlines, those are purposely created by other business media pundit to be used by the machine traders.

There was single report, 3 days ago and not repeated, that stated the SEC and FTC are looking at the impacts of machine trading. Hopefully they are able to put regulations together to limit their impact. One of the CEO’s of a machine trading company was interviewed and even stated there may need to be time factors added to machine trading to level the playing field.

The media-including FNC-is harping on the notion that this (the wall issue) is the first time they are seeing defection among President Trump’s supporters. This idea is also being propagated here at CTH by those who cannot tolerate anyone who criticizes POTUS or complains. Shutting down other commenters by calling them trolls, eyeores, or negative Nancies is really no different than the emotionally abusive parent or spouse who shuts down any commentary that isn’t flattering to his or her sense of self importance and emotional comfort. Who cares how the media interprets our criticisms and complaints? How many times now have they have predicted the imminent downfall of Trump? Wishful thinking on their part and nothing more.

The relationship between POTUS and his base is really no different than other relationships. If I become angry with my spouse or complain about one of his decisions, it doesn’t mean I’m filing for divorce. If I complain to my boss about my not getting a raise, it doesn’t mean that I’m quitting my job or that I no longer like or respect my boss. Although it doesn’t happen everyday, I don’t write them off whenever I have a fall-out with a friend, a neighbor, one of my adult children, or one of my parents, etc. It’s perfectly normal in any relationship to complain, disagree, become offended, threatened, and even have an occasional “big” fight. If any one of the above occurrences signals the end of a relationship, then that relationship either never existed or one party is mentally dysfunctional.

It is healthy and necessary for voters to complain, question, be concerned, doubt, and become angry with elected officials who don’t fulfill the will of the people who elected them. President Trump doesn’t expect to have immunity from our criticism. Just because a lot of us are afraid or concerned that he is caving to his opposition on issues like the wall hardly means that we are no longer standing solidly in his corner. This is OUR garden. We have every right to point out the weeds and demand that they be pulled.

I will accept it if our president fails to build the wall but I will NOT hide nor be silent about my disappointment just to appease those folks in my camp who can’t or won’t tolerate bad news, doubt, or negativity. Furthermore, it isn’t fair to President Trump or to ourselves to put him on such a high pedestal. Personally, I have always been uncomfortable with the “VSG” label that is so often applied to him by commenters on this site. He’s the most effective president I’ve ever seen in my lifetime but he is still a flawed human being just like the rest of us. I would imagine that his job is hard enough without the added pressure of living up to expectations that only God can meet.

You said it yourself; you don’t divorce your husband over a disagreement.
Many of the posts said “This is it, if Trump caves, I won’t vote for him in 2020!….

That is NOT attempting a dialogue, that is threatening to end thecrelationship, if the poster doesn’t get their way.

That is a sign of emotional immaturity.

But wait, there is more. Can you imagine saying “the ONLY REASON I married my spouse, is cause of their nose. Don’t find them attractive otherwise, and lousy personality! But, I married them cause of the nose and will stay married, cause of the nose, even though I can’t STAND them!

But, if they EVER got a nose job, I’m history!
      Pretty shallow, and immature, huh?

THAT is what SOME of the posters were saying, yesterday. To be a ONE ISSUE voter, is to be a very immature, foolish voter, and so anyone who says that the ONLY reason they voted for “Trump”, is immigration, and the ONLY reason they will continue to support him, is the wall, automatically causes many here to lose respect for the posters maturity and intelligence.

And further, to see such hand wringing and Trump-bashing, aftrr seeing him do this, time after time, bearing in mind that HE had said NOTHING to indicate he was ‘caving’,…
And finally, to see this sight BOMBARDED with such comments, caused many of us to believe this was a coordinated, organised effort.

And, what we are seeing right here is one of the reasons those opposing POTUS would TRY such a manuever.

To see those who are ‘sympathetic’to what the paid trolls are posting, driven away. Kind of throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

No one thinks DJT is a SAINT. We do think, based on what he has shown us, that he is indeed a “Very Stable Genius”,
that he is unique in our lifetimes, perhaps in American history, and our last hope.

But, we recognise he is Human, and flawed, as are we all.

Finally, I would say to ANYONE who feels they ONLY support DJT because of his immigration stance, AT THIS POINT IN TIME, well you just ain’t been paying attention!

The Rules Committee has made this CR into a jumbo package, where they are simply adding the $5.7 billion in wall money and $8.7 billion in disaster aid to the Senate approved package. The Hse must first adopt the rule. If they do that, then the Hse will debate the revamped bill.

    — Chad Pergram (@ChadPergram) December 20, 2018

The final, up or down vote, on the revamped CR is take it or leave it on the entire package. There is political danger here for the GOP, if the entire package fails.

Why is it that some people automatically assume that the “trolls” are the ones posing as Trump supporters and only spreading NEGATIVE comments and feelings about PT?

Could the “trolls”, paid by Soros and others entities, who no doubt exist, also employ a strategy of spreading sentiments of unbridled optimism, unfounded hope, overzealous cheerleading, etc….. in an attempt to tranquilize the masses of conservatives into thinking everything is great, that PT has got everything completely under control, that we are winning on everything, so that they sort of disengage and grow complacent, and then the next thing we know, we lose everything in 2020.

Just asking, thinking purely political strategy here.

By nature, the trolls aren’t capable of “unbridled optimism, unfounded hope, overzealous cheerleading, etc.” Therefore, they simply can’t pull it off. Doom and gloom is much more their style and is a proven PsyOps tool.

Its EASIER to fake gloom and doom, than for someone in major TDS to say GOOD things, POSITIVE things, about DJT.
        Their problem is more basic than that, however; it gets to that meme;
“Its not about ME; I’m just in the way!
        THEY are coming after YOU”

THEY really think/FEEL/believe that ANYONE who would support DJT is a deplorable.

THEY don’t really understand how ANYONE could support what they see as a buffoon. Therefore, WE are buffoons; ignorant, myopic rascist homophobic sexist mysoginistic buffoons.

So, from their headspace, it is impossible for them to REALLY understand us, or our support for their nemesis.

But, that doesn’t mean they can’t do a lot of damage, unfortunately.

As to whether u no what was a didinformation campaign, I have no idea, its possible. Complicated, but possible.

Look at what was done in Alabama, to reputedly try to effect the Roy Moore campaign.

I think it is important to remember that if it wasn’t Donald Trump, but another GOP president, we’d see the same 24/7 blatant and open warfare against our side – US. The country took a turn, maybe as far back as the 60’s, but certainly whenever they were able to start pushing political correctness in order to shut down free speech – honest speech, and then the tipping point in the 90’s when a lowlife like Clinton took office, and kept office.

After failing to steal the presidential election in 2000, they spent 8 years destroying George Bush. After the election of Obama – the final assault was launched.

We haven’t recovered – why? Because tech brought social media, and the expansion of fascism – reaching into our schools and our cultural institutions. This is coupled with their ability to steal votes/elections at levels never previously seen before.

As an honest troll, I’ll give my insight:
Most are here to discourage and spread chaos (aka. get people doubting and fighting).
However, there are some who are quite a bit more sophisticated that engage in playing the “happy pal”, thus gaining everybody’s confidence and favor…then they start drip, drip, dripping out little insinuations.
Both can be effective (repeat something often enough and people will start to believe it); the second is perhaps more insidious because they are just better at it…cults of personality are powerful things and are not just for leaders of large groups. Sometimes it can be as small as a few people on a blog (and sometimes the practitioners of this are not doing it but for the simple reason of that personal cult — heady stuff really; they want to keep their flock…nothing more).
Either way, they’ll mess with people’s heads.

Then there’s a-holes like me, but hey at least I’m honest. That’s how this thing is played out — to be forewarned is to be forearmed. PS. my PSA is done, expect me to go back to being an a-hole now xoxo

If the President needs some help with the federal Reserve, or any of the rest of it, he ought to give me a call. I’ll make sure he gets fit in. And what he does is only the first half of it. How he does it being the bigger half, which negates any and all need for any of his genius for marketing. The people really aren’t stupid you know. We know the difference between apple sauce and horseschit.

On a sunny afternoon, with not much happening, the troops change their socks and lite cigarettes while the captain and the Lt. coordinate to enter the net and request a fire mission. They call for smoke, a marker round over some fixed and likely abandoned enemy emplacement. But when incoming rounds are flying and slapping into the mud, zip and zap, or God forbid bugles are blowing, the request for a fire mission comes from a Captain yelling into the handset, fire for effect. Fire for effect.

The President needs a war consigliere as well as Captains in the field who know how to call in fire missions. The time for bullschit is two years past and someone needs to tell them over at the Commanding General’s mess hall. Mark some of these non performing SOBs over at Battalion for replacement. They are losing the war.

Heads up Mr. President. First, you make the enemy respect you by actually hurting them. Then you teach them to fear you by demonstrating you intend to destroy them. Finally, now that you have finally gotten inside their decision making cycle and they are reacting to you and feeling the pressure, they are necessarily making mistakes.

And that’s when you actually get to do what the tax payers are paying you to do, which is to destroy America’s enemies. Someone needs to be found with the courage to tell the President he is fated to be Caesar and there is no escape. He was elected to be Caesar. Caesar sits at the head of his troops and it is from there that Caesar always finds a way to win. That’s why his troops follow him.

The Senate is Caesar’s enemy. The Senate will murder Caesar. Caesar must destroy his enemies. Are you home Mr.President? For two years I have sat on your doorstep with this message. Your supporters, the people are waiting sir.

A question from a smaller branch.

Sorry if this has been discussed and I missed it , really under the weather here this week.

Is there any way the swamp critters can prevent recess appointments now the the next congress is about to begin?

They couldn’t do it IF there’s a recess.
But it only takes one to object to a recess.

Don’t they have to recess in order to reconvene the new congress?
Can you take the position in the Senate while another is still sitting in that position?
Wouldn’t the previous Senator have to formally resign if there is no recess to begin again?

I don’t believe the expiration of a congressional session is considered a recess.
No provision I’m aware of would allow any more than one person at a time filling any seat.

            thank you for responding.

I’m trying to figure out if they have run out of options to keep PDJT from getting some of his appointments in place. Trouble is I can’t remember the fine lines of congressional procedures and laws.

Every new member must be sworn in to take their newly elected office. It would seem to me that if you are in session, non recess, those seated would remain seated until the current session is closed or resignation. Therefore what constitutes session versus recess is what I’m missing.

Here is Secretary Mattis’s resignation letter… looks like he is at odds with the President with regard to “views”.

Am I the only one, who finds it a bit suspicious pictures of the letter is online? Mattis doesn’t seem like a man who would do that. I know people think he’s swampy, but he was a bad ass marine, a mans man and very proper, when we learnt he was to be in the administration, so how come a man like him would leak this?
I understand how a man with his career, working with nato and UN troops for many years, under leadership who wants to be the world police, can be more likely to think of working together is the only solution (remember how many of his friends who didn’t help after 9/11), but I just can’t see him post stuff like this, as he’ll open up the full ire of PDJT.
