Reince Oreibus pointed out a few days ago that when the Dems had 7 or 8 point generic advantage in a recent midterm (don’t remember if he referred to 2010 or 2012)…..the Republicans gained a lot if seats.

He also said there are 34 split districts. I think this meant battleground districts. Of those 34 districts….Trump won 21 of them and Hillary won 13.

So, imo Trump is right to get his base motivated. The GOPe needs to get the
e-Republicans motivated and voting, too. It is going to take an all out effort! I would be contacting all those #walkaway voters too!

I am done reading for today. Some here are just exhausting. So many know so much about how to solve all the problems. Today seems to be a negative day for everyone.
So here is my take on things: God has this under control. All will be revealed at God’s time, “vengeance is mine saith the Lord”. and if you don’t think he will seek vengeance for the nearly 60M babies murdered in the country in the last 30 years…”
If the 2018 election goes back to the Dems, then it is because many did not care about America or being Americans, or cared enough to ask for help from God!

..If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
I can do three things..spread the truth about POTUS, Pray daily for POTUS and this Nation; and VOTE. I trust in God, and I trust in POTUS because I believe God put him there.

They will destroy this country through their lies. What they do is criminal and should be punished. I am tired of all this corruption right out in the open and …..NO ONE PAYS…..

WE are the reporters now. Each of us. Everyone I talk with gets good news updates even store clerks. I sometimes leave out Trumps name to appear neutral. I may express concerns about Democrat party hate and violence but in a “shaking head” way asking who would put these guys in power just when things are going good for everyone? Again, its up to each of us. No more being passive sheeple expecting others to save us. Together we are strong and WILL win. BTW thats why the negative shills will become more common. They want us divided and discouraged for the mid terms. My advice is to laugh, pray and keep on working just as POTUS does. His focus and optimism can be our guide to winning.

When the subject of our next video, an employee in the Executive Branch, says, “Resist everything. Every level. F*** s*** up;” you’ll be able to see his name and his face. You’ll also see his title, direct employer, the movement of his lips, the cadence in his voice, his demeanor, his arrogance, his lack of introspection, and ultimately, him bragging about how nobody will ever hold his comrades nor him accountable.

When an employee of the executive branch gloats about targeting private citizens in an effort to “… go against the Constitution of America,” how could we NOT publish his name.”

Henrik Clausen translates the following op-ed from Danish daily, Jyllands-Posten:

Jailing Tommy Robinson is a Direct Assault on Freedom of Expression
      [Final paragraph:]
…Jailing Tommy Robinson is a direct assault on fundamental principles for rule of law — not least freedom of expression. This assault is even greater because it originates with the authorities, the police and the justice system, who have as their primary responsibility the defence of citizens against arbitrary rule and violations.

There is every possible reason to follow the case against Tommy Robinson closely, for it can easily turn out to be the canary in the coal mine. It is a clear example of what can happen when authorities — due to a blend of ill-conceived respect for Muslim sentiment and fear of terrorism — are willing to sacrifice everything in order to maintain peace and order.

Freedom of expression may very well be one of the sacrifices of this process.

Open Season on the AfD at the Bundestag
The Baron writes the following as preface:
The immigration-critical party AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany) is polling too well, and the German establishment is cranking up its efforts to squash the party.

That’s the sense I get from these two videos from the floor of the Bundestag. The first shows Martin Schulz, the Social Democrat leader and former President of the European Parliament. He’s a quintessential EU apparatchik, and he comes down hard on the AfD. It’s the NAZI-NAZI-NAZI scattergun, the preferred method of shutting down any political dissent in Germany.

The second video shows even nastier diatribes from other people. The vitriol is so relentless that the AfD members walk out of the chamber partway through. And notice how much applause the AfD-haters get from their fellow members of parliament.

Probably not allowed; do an inter-governmental department loan (military) for 20 billion…pay double the market rate of interest.

The $5 billion will probably help PDJT decide not to do a government shutdown which might be risky according to others…not sure how that would play out.

Even if this is true, Mueller won’t use anything against Obama or other high level Dems. And it seems that everyone here is forgetting that the danger of Manafort flipping is that, as Alan Dershowitz has said so many times, the danger is not that Manafort has any truth to share that can help Mueller’s case, but that he might compose what Mueller wants to hear. When these Special Counsels put pressure on someone they don’t care if it’s the truth, they only want them to say what they want so they can use it against the person they are after, in this case that’s Trump. So, if Manafort decides to tell Mueller what he wants to hear that’s when it gets dangerous for POTUS because then it becomes his word against POTUS and that would most likely not go POTUS’s way.

It was to or from a campaign event after news broke of Manafort’s involvement with Ukraine. Shortly after, Manafort was fired.
Gates, Manafort’s partner, was fired later. Suspect Gate’s embezzlement of campaign monies was more widely known than Gates suspected. They may indeed compose against PDJT, but it may well be PDJT flushing some turds who caused him problems. Until I learn differently, I’ll believe some excrement was flushed, because I want to.

This Mueller vs Manafort news is all about appearance. No one is going to die in prison after serving 20 years of hard labor. The statute imposes long terms but no one actually serves those terms. If Democrat Judges actually started to throw Republican in prison for 30 years for political crimes there would be pay back. Manafort’s problems is the legal costs. He knows he will be convicted whether he pleas with Mueller or not, and the sentence will be the same to. Again the trouble is the legal costs. Mueller needs to show results and he wants words like “collusion” and “conspiracy” in his convictions and plea deals, not tax fraud. Manafort will not spend one more day in prison for conspiracy than he is already getting for tax fraud but the legal costs of the process will end. Mueller wants this investigation to go for as long as possible (it is call job security). Maybe for the entire time Pres. Trump is in office. To do this he must have results. The only way he can get convictions with words like “collusion” and “conspiracy” in him is to do plea deals with the defendants. In the end if Manafort spends more than a year in prison I would be shocked. What is written in the agreement are just words. There is nothing Manafort can tell the grand jury that Mueller already doesn’t know by now.

Remember the Democrats in congress will impeach not on what Mueller has but on if they have the votes. In the end the Republicans will keep the House and the Senate after this Fall’s Election. And the snowflakes will cry again.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/14/politics/greg-craig-foreign-agent-registration-investigation/index.html Juror: Manafort pardon would be grave mistake
(CNN)Federal prosecutors in New York are weighing criminal charges against former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig as part of an investigation into whether he failed to register as a foreign agent in a probe that is linked to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to sources familiar with the matter.

In addition, these sources said, prosecutors in the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York are considering taking action against powerhouse law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where Craig was a partner during the activity under examination. Prosecutors are considering a civil settlement with the firm or a deferred prosecution agreement with Skadden, these sources said.

CHINA VATICAN TO SIGN DEAL OVER BISHOPS

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/china-and-vatican-to-sign-landmark-deal-over-bishops-1536929831

    QUOTE:

“The controversial deal would include the first official recognition by Beijing that the pope is the head of the Catholic Church in China. In return, Pope Francis would formally recognize seven excommunicated Chinese bishops who were appointed by the Communist government without Vatican approval.

    . . . . . .

Others, including some U.S. diplomats, are concerned the pope is conceding a strong influence over church leadership to an avowedly atheist authoritarian regime.

“This is a strange step backward on terrain over which the church has fought, not for centuries but millennia,” said Sandro Magister, a Vatican expert who writes for Italy’s L’Espresso magazine. “The church has managed to free itself from control of sovereigns and governments on ecclesiastical matters such as the naming of bishops, but now this achievement is clamorously contradicted by the agreement with China.”

This is the same Pope who defends pedophile priests and thinks that climate change is more important than the sexual exploitation of children. Frankly the Catholic Church is a cesspit. I don’t see how a bunch of commie Bishops is all that much different from the commie pope.

Sundance has a great twitter thread on the recent release of Strzock-Page emails and text messages. Threadreader – https://t.co/HYnlVrMPSp

Item #15 asks a great question – where have these emails/texts been for the past year? Who was holding them, who is releasing them?

Would these emails/texts not be used in a leak investigation? If so, then Rod Rosenstein would have held these emails/texts back. AG Jeff put Rosenstein in charge of the leak investigations.

Paraphrasing: These tweets are not included in the IG report, so whoever had them, did not want them going public before Strozk/Page/etc. had their public hearings. Now that we are in the pre-election lull, most of congress is out trying to get re-elected, so any data dumps now won’t result in public hearings. Question who held them back, and if Meadows had them all along, why did he hide them until now when noone can do anything about them ?

Incorrect. Rosenstein is NOT in charge of lleak investigations. AG Sessions and Coats announced a joint DOJ/DNI task force to find and prosecute leakers last year. General Flynns protege, Ezra Cohen Watnik, was put in charge and reports DIRECTLY to AG Sessions. Many of the prosecutions people stamp their feet over will be very tricky because successful prosecutions will involve high level state secrets. That is why the idea of military tribunals makes sense for some of the people involved. The new rules for tribunals kick in on September 15, 2019. They got a big influx of money in the Omnibus bill. Anyway, Im sure youre delighted to learn that someone gave you #fakenews. AG Sessions has this handled. For similar reasons hes having Huber skip the usual DOJ chain of command and report directly to him rather than Rosenstein. Rod will be gone after September 18, when Trumps guy can replace him without a Senate confirmation.

    • budmc, Looks like the great unifier is at it again. Trying to divide the country further and blaming and labelling it on someone who is actually trying to unite this country. Projection much?

If I know our President Trump, 0bama is about to get shlonged for this misadventure of a speech. Maybe post Florence he will turn his attention to this or in the next conversation with his supporters. I sincerely hope that President Trump will go off script in his next big family gathering with us bigly I am not gonna miss watching the next rally live.

Just wondering – What was it at 24-25 second mark? A protestor or someone just put on his/her MAGA hat?
