Pennsylvania Special Election – CD18 Rick Saccone (R) vs Conor Lamb (D)…

The special election in Pennsylvania Congressional District 18 is today.  The polls close at 8:00pm EST.  The district political registration heavily favors the Democrat Conor Lamb with a +50,000 advantage in Democrat registered voters.  However, President Trump carried the mostly blue-collar district in 2016, and he supports Republican Rick Saccone.

Generally speaking the Democrat Conor Lamb is favored; and with that outcome in mind the media began using this likely Democrat win to position an anti-Trump narrative.  To counter that narrative President Trump went to PA and campaigned with Rick Saccone.  Both RNC and DNC have spent a lot of money on this temporary district race.

Democrat Conor Lamb is attempting to revive the extinct “blue-dog” model and has refuted Nancy Pelosi along with the far-left-wing of the Democrat party; while emphasizing his strong labor union relationships.  On the Republican side, the district is Pro-Trump on the national economics but candidate Rick Saccone has strongly supported ‘right-to-work’ policies which the local unions do not like.  So it’s a weird election.

  8. Regardless of who wins, the RNC needs a leadership change. Low energy candidates and apathy at the top really piss me off. And I think it’s on purpose too.

Recall what trouble Trump had during his election with #Never Trumpers deeply entrenched in state GOPs? They love their power and usually serve up weak-kneed RINOs as candidates for Congressional races. I don’t even think Saccone was a true Trumper at first. I’m not saying Saccone is a RINO, but, in general, if a race is between a RINO or a Democrat most folks (pro-Trump voters excluded) seem to take the Democrat.

Sundance, we are watching a stolen election.

CNN and NYT a few minutes ago had Greene County 2694 to 1927 R (100% in).

They had Washington County 25,615 to 22114 R (100% in).

THey had Alleghany COunty (PGH DEMS) 56,725 to 42,111 D (100% in).

THey had Westmoreland County 39,430 to 29,179 R (99% in).

On paper this is a Lamb (D) lead of 95 votes.

      Divide Westmoreland County’s return by 99% to get a projected 100% tally of 39,828 to 29,473 R.

Adding these to the three counties that reported 100%, and you get a Republican (Sacco) victory of 9 votes and a recount.

But s couple of minutes ago, CNN reported updated Westmoreland County returns of 58,,655 to 43,289 D (after the Dem county gave alleged “final vote tallies”). If true and honest, this makes Lamp the wibber.

Anywhere an election is close enough to steal, Dems steal it.

Sessions should be sending agents to Alleghany County on Vote Fraud patrol.

We don’t need votes from the inferior classes, the semi-informed, the undecided, the ones who don’t walk in goosestep with the prophets and gurus. . . or perhaps we DO need them?

That’s what I was talking about a few days ago – it doesn’t matter in how many thousands of posts each of us declares our allegiance for President Trump in (to the hilarious extent that if we quote him verbatim on some subjects we are “trolls”), it doesn’t matter how loudly we beat our godly and patriotic chest with self-praise and fundamentalist certainty, finally it’s still a one man one vote system.

We need to reach to the doubtful, to the lazy, to the semi-informed in the general population, to persuade them, to make them understand the fundamentals of the great phenomena which are happening under their sleepy eyes. To make them understand it DOES regard them.

We also need to pressure the people AROUND the President, also all the mealy-mouthed RNC semi-patriots and overpaid luminaries.

Outside Hollywood Rambo world, even great heroes need support and help.

King Arthur himself didn’t fight alone.

All politics is local. Rather disappointed the rally didn’t help more, nor anything else that has been accomplished. I don’t believe in this wake up call or blaming RNC etc…Alabama wasn’t anyone’s fault but the candidate as well.

That’s why I’m enjoying this Presidency as it was a small(70K vote) miracle. One issue outside the hatred for our President that is a big factor across all spectrum is healthcare and republican candidates are exposed and out in the cold now…nowhere to hide and it’s a BIGLY issue.

This is an expected disaster. I’ve lived and campaigned here in Western PA for more than 25 years.

Not only did Trump win CD18 by 20 points, Republicans have coasted to double digit victories here for eons.

Two weeks ago I wrote here that it would take a miracle for us to win this. We thought Trump and Jr could be that miracle.

    But, maybe not!
