(Not speaking about the bogus Iran deal but about the underbelly of Congress actions or lack of)

Congressmen, like, McCain, Graham, Clinton, etc., can continue their profiteering, loopholes, slushfunds, non-profits and NGOs to siphon off the Treasury whenever WAR drums beat or the pitter-patter of illegal alien feet.

George Nader who testified to a grand jury last week about Trump and ties to foreign money in the campaign!

      • “The Clinton’s get busted again. It’s a never-ending saga that somehow always seems to out do itself.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is getting the cooperation of a Lebanese-American businessman with ties to Arab royalty in his probe of foreign influence on the Trump presidential campaign, including the possibility of a back channel between the Kremlin and the Trump transition team.

George Nader testified last week to the Mueller grand jury.

Mr. Nader is an adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, the de facto ruler of the United Arab Emirates. According to The Times, Mr. Mueller is investigating whether Emirati money found its way to the Trump campaign, which would be illegal.

That sounds very official and all but perhaps Mueller might ask his new star witness in the Trump investigation what he was doing partying on an exclusive island resort with Bill Clinton.

Especially when The Clinton’s have been caught helping fund the bogus Trump dossier which helped launch Mueller’s probe.

        Optics here. Very bad.

And you haven’t even seen the all the pictures yet.”

I’ll say it again. the AG should have put a stop to Mueller long ago. The reason Mueller is still there is as negotiating tool for the swamp as the IG tries to investigate Fisa and other abuses. There will be no fisa indictments as long Mueller is free to intimidate the Trump admin/manafort/flynn as a way to protect the swamp. Sessions needs to be moved to where he can concentrate and functions best on sanctuary city and illegals which is his forte. I don’t know what the specific answer is but allowing Mueller to continue his charade long after both the Senate and House have spoken is ridiculous. The AG and the DAG are in this Mueller fiasco up to their establishment waists, totally implicated in their failure as DOJ.

  16. ROFLMAO!!!! What a hoot!

“A group of U.S. scientists has had to be rescued by helicopter from Antarctica after being trapped by encroaching ice.

    Good Morning America reports:

A group of American scientists was rescued from an island off Antarctica’s coast after ice prevented a U.S. Antarctic Program research vessel from reaching them.

The four U.S. scientists and a support staff member conducting research on Antarctica’s Joinville Island were airlifted by helicopter Sunday from an icebreaker ship dispatched by Argentina, said the National Science Foundation, which funds and manages the Antarctic program.

You’ll, of course, never guess what the scientists were doing there.

    No, wait…

The research party, which was studying ancient climate, was led by Alex Simms of the University of California, Santa Barbara, according to the foundation. An employee of the foundation’s U.S.-based support contractor accompanied the group, the foundation said.

Say what? Climate scientists researching global warming being caught out by unseasonal cold?

This is happening so often that it almost makes you wonder whether the climate is trying to tell us something…”

Bottom line, our Pres didn’t have the contacts to staff his admin, had to rely on the DC swamp to fill many spots quickly.
So glad to see him flush this out…it may become a yearly practice!

How did Cali get so screwed up? It doesn’t seem so long ago that it was mostly normal people doing normal stuff. There were always a few wackos that were tolerated, but it was a pretty normal place. Colorful – but mostly normal.

Now it’s run by wackos for wackos with little or no tolerance for anyone who isn’t whacked. How did it go so far so fast?

    Ah, the harpies….

So T-Rex is out and Trump is in California.

The harpies are upset that he’s talking about the wall and wonder why he’s complaining about our high taxes. Are you kidding? CA taxes are killing this state, but I guess they think it’s for their “precious illegal immigrants (and Muslim refugees) who just need a little help” … biggest load of garbage ever.

Anyway they’re quite exasperated. One said, “This is why we drink!”

I think they should drink some more.

    • All of us on the outside of government are still entitled to have preferences. We don’t have to be happy with all the hirings and firings. I think Betsy DeVos (for example) is a complete dunce who bought her government job with campaign contributions, but if POTUS is satisfied it’s his choice to make, not mine.

The likes and dislikes regarding Tillerson seemed often to be critiques of his more gentlemanly style and reserved character, which still look exceptional to me for the job of top diplomat. Pompeo could take a lesson from that. If RT wasn’t on board with policy proposals though, it was time for him to be let go. That’s still no reason to dismiss what Tillerson did right in introducing this administration to the rest of the world.

I agree about TIllerson’s being exceptional. About Betsy DeVos, she is in an almost impossible job — I am hoping that when other dumpster fires have been put out, that POTUS will take on the American education establishment and make it WORK for the people. Betsy DeVos won’t be able to do that until it’s time. But I’m grateful she will serve and has put up with the abuse that comes with the job (incredibly, DeVos was locked out of one school she had gone to visit early in the administration — I’m waiting patiently for the karma to come back to some failing schools)

After The Hilderbeast and Kerry, T-Rex look absolutely GREAT!

T-Rex was good in that position for the time he was in. THINK SAUDI ARABIA and the magic Trump wrought in the Middle-east. Also T-Rex did a pretty good job tossing out the dead wood in the State Dept. given all the howling by the YSM. How Rex Tillerson Wrecked the State Department | The New Yorker

I do not expect President Trump to keep someone in a position forever and I hope Pompeo does an even better job than T-Rex did.

Judge is saying Manafort faces life in prison…

WHY is Tony Podesta still walking the streets?

      Liked by 5 people

      • wondering999 says:

        From Daily Caller:
“…Manafort faces federal prosecution in two jurisdictions. Special counsel Robert Mueller filed numerous charges against him including eighteen counts of tax fraud, bank fraud, and bank fraud conspiracy at a federal trial court in Alexandria, Va., and twelve counts of money laundering, conspiracy against the United States, and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) at the federal trial court in Washington, D.C.

“Each tax fraud charge carries a maximum sentence of five years and a $250,000 fine. The bank fraud charges carry a 30 year maximum sentence and a one million dollar fine. Though he is not likely to receive the maximum penalties, at 68, Manafort faces the serious prospect of life in prison, even with a reduced sentence…”

President Trump just took care of Mr. Saucier. All this is beyond my pay grade, but surely Manafort won’t be punished while the others go free?

        Liked by 1 person

        • If it is proven in court that Manafort is a well-connected major money launderer and tax thief, I do not believe POTUS will pardon him, no matter who else goes free. Not even the hardcore base would look kindly upon excusing the theft of $30 million just because Manafort’s a personal acquaintance, or because he helped during part of the campaign. This isn’t like pardoning Arpaio or the sailor, where their convictions were for minor offenses. It’s the kind of pardon past presidents have only granted to their corrupt cronies during their final week in office.

    Layers upon layers ….

Up to today, I thought the president uses the Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” to say to the electorate, “You may not want me as president, but you do need me.”

But today it clicked with me that he uses that song because it hones in on his main agenda item, which covers a swath of territory from families and children, health, wars and finance and the wall. I ‘ve known all along that the song is about drug addiction, but I didn’t realize that is his main reason for using it.
