Not black, but still slimy. She wanted to know the “price” the President was including in his budget for the Domestic Abuse program (cuz Mulvaney hid the numbers from her yesterday 😫), and insinuated that whatever the original “price” was, that the President had raised it after the Porter scandal. So the budget process takes months, but to atone for the scandal PDJT will throw money at it?? What kind of nasty mind does this woman have?? Sounds like Projection to me.

I’m sure I sound a bit over the top with this, but has it occurred to anyone else that FBI Security “Clearances” could be yet another avenue the FBI could use to derail the Trump administration? Should all clearances and ongoing clearances be double checked now? To me, everything the FBI touches is in question.

Yes, I’ve wondered about the timeline involved with the FBI background checks, when was Wray made the head of the FBI, were the people doing the background checks some of the same people involved in the ‘insurance policy’, were they slow-walking turning over their findings in order to be able to use this Porter et.al. scenario against the Administration.

This is interesting, especially if true, because it just adds to the growing distrust of FBI, which then adds the question – is that an intention, if they (the Obama/Clinton folks) can’t get anything to stick to this Administration, does it serve their purpose to get the U.S. citizen to not trust law enforcement?

It does add to the theme over the past 8 years of trying to grow the divide between the people and their law officers.

The TruePundit article cleverly inserts the word “possibility”. The entire article is a “what-if” rather than a statement of fact. So it is merely conjecture about which many of us would not be surprised were it at some point proven to be true.

        • From the article you linked:
“It is no coincidence the Porter ‘scandal’ was leaked to the mainstream media literally hours after embattled and defrocked FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe lost his gun and FBI shield. This is just simple deep-state math.

But FBI sources confirm two Bureau agents working the Porter background sweep were notified in January 2017 that Porter allegedly punched at least one ex-wife in the face and often roughed her up, according to sources.

Colbie Holderness told FBI agents of Porter’s abuse, again, in January 2017. FBI sources confirm during that interview Holderness produced digital photos with time stamps confirming injuries to her orbital area from the 2005 alleged beating. FBI sources said an internal 302 report from January 2017 naming two FBI agents who spoke with Holderness detail these facts.

So why did the FBI wait at least seven months to notify the White House?

In July, the FBI concluded the majority of Porter’s background sweep. Wray confirmed that fact Tuesday during testimony.

Who was FBI Director at that time? Andrew McCabe was serving as Acting FBI Director at the time, since James Comey had been fired. Wray was not sworn into that role until a month later, in August 2017.

Comey was fired in May 2017 and according to FBI sources, no domestic dispute Intel was divulged to the White House about Porter before Comey was sacked. That puts the FBI on the clock for five months after first being notified of Porter’s alleged abuse.

That leaves McCabe holding the bag here and wrapping up the initial phases of Porter’s background sweep just days before Wray came into office.”

There is an issue nobody has discussed yet and is the reason Christopher Wray probably DID NOT tell the White House the exact nature of a personal matter delaying and and/or ultimately scuttling Porter’s security clearance application. All the information submitted on the clearance application as well as investigative discoveries are covered by the Privacy Act. Wray is limited on the information he can disclose as well as the White House if they actually collected any personal information.

That is why if one actually read the ticker tape being flashed across the bottom of the screens on CNN and NBC, one would have read the Wray stated he did not disclose the exact nature of the personal issue and he did not disclose exact timing of release of information. CNN and NBC talking heads and their banner headlines were flat out lies.

Plus, the type of information being reported leads one to suspect somebody within the FBI leaked the actual security clearance application and investigative findings. An FBI employee and maybe even some members of congress potentially violated Federal Coeds associated with the Privacy Act. Rob Porter may actually have grounds to sue the swamp.

Wray purposefully did not say exactly what information was sent to the WH and when on Porter. Regardless of the truth his details could have provided and instead of saying nothing, he said what would look bad for the WH.

    • I hate to be insensitive but are these social justice warriors so sheltered that they have never see a woman with a black eye before? If there was an assault it should have been reported and charges filed at the time. Then it would have been adjudicated and if guilty a sentence passed & time served. Violence against others is not OK but there is a mechanism to address it.

The Press or their masters are desperate and it shows. We should have a 1 week moratorium on Press conferences so that they stop wasting the American people’s time with their hissy fits.

Sounds like the White House security was adjudicating the clearance. Since Porter still retained his clearance the adjudication was probably to clear Porter. I don’t think the FBI did anything wrong in the background check. The WH was adjudicating Porters clearance which his interim expired 12 January. Wray testified that the WH and FBI shared more docs and material this month ( February). With talk about promotions and his dating Hope Hicks I surmise the plan was to justify the clearance. Somwhere in the WH or upper echelons of the FBI a leak to the press happened to derail the adjudication process and/ or use it to get Kelly.

The bigger concern to me is that it looks like a free for all chaos where nobody respects the due process system and runs to the press to get their way or get someone. This should not have been leaked to the press like it was and Rob Porter deserved due process. It sure is very ugly in Washington DC.

Firefly, we really don’t know WHAT the FBI reported to the WH or when it reported it. Wray in effect said nothing yesterday, only that the FBI had submitted its reports multiple times and considered the case closed as of very late last year. I cannot see a way to read anything into Wrays statement about the reports’ content. He deliberately worded it that way since he cannot divulge the content. Looks like malicious leaking is all we are going to get and probably half or more of that leaking is not entirely truthful. Until the hammer comes down on the leakers.

You and I are on the same page on this one beni. Hope needs to resign. If a person cannot control their hormones, they have no business in the whitehouse. Comm team needs to be gutted.

Wait a minute you guys. Some guy (may have) beat his wife or wives and Hope should resign? That makes a lot of sense. 🙄

Issue is not that hope is dopey enough to date a twice divorced wife beater. She can be a dope if she wants, on her time and her dime. How much did her relationship with porter affect his tenure or this unnecessary hit? IDK

He came with references… Orin Hatch’s office to be precise. He did good work by all accounts. His problems were in his personal life, which have now been revealed to the world.

Your stance that Hope Hicks should now resign is ridiculous. All she needs to do is stop seeing the wife beater.

Disagree sandra, her choices and judgement are what are ridiculous. Not to mention the old saying “you don’t sh!t where you eat”. There is absolutely NO place for romantic relationships in the whitehouse among co workers, none. Not a difficult concept.

Stupid comment, tbqh. People get together in the workplace EVERYWHERE. She probably had no idea that the really smart mormon guy was an evil pos.

You can be a prude all you like, but when your only social/work circle is a confined group… something is bound to happen.

So true. Back in the day our fathers did this. Now we have to do it our selves. Not an improvement. We should get a male friend to do it for us. Get his White Knight juices going. We are too biased when in love. I disagree that this is Hope’s fault. She’s the victim here, if the stories are true. Beginning to wonder. Women can be horrible. I have an ex friend who put it about her partner was violent, even went to the police. Turned out he had never touched her, but she had hit him. Other stories too with same woman. Wouldn’t know to look at her, nice Kentucky wasp.

That sounds like the #saveourgirls lefty campaign. Obama’s were big on women’s “issues”. /snark

No one cares about this personal issue of some divorced guy. Except Lefties. It should have been settled in the courts, by the DOJ not the WH Press Corp.

Really, it’s like being held hostage by the dumbest time thieves on the planet……

I slightly disagree. If not porter there’d be another squirrel. Makes no difference. Diversion is diversion.
They will watch an hour of trump speech and latch onto 1 line which, if taken out of context, can seem problematic and then run with it for a day or two. Does not matter

Definitely agree the Fake News Media doesn’t cover real stories…this is their favorite Fake News story…it hits one of President Trump’s core supporters: White Women.

Trump’s kind of white women know that women can be b@@@@ches. We need due process. Has Porter been convicted of anything? If not then why aren’t these women taking him to court rather than getting their rocks off in the NYT? And this is from the same people who loove Roman Polanski, convicted rapist. We have similar in France, famous rock star battered his girlfriend unconscious and left her to die all night. Now out and doing Inrock covers.

  42. How long did Sarah let this go on? Why does she not shut them down on a question after they have asked already?

  43. I just listened to the first couple of questions and Sarah’s answers and now it all makes sense. The WH personnel dept staffed by career people (traitors) still was reviewing the paper work; Oval Office did not receive yet. Still wondering why the pressure to get rid of Kelly…could it be that he has shut down the leaks and the msm is not getting any info.

These people are disgusting (press corp). I think someone should do a comparison video of the Ovomit pressers and some of these. We aren’t biased they claim – then go through a 5 minute compilation. It would be most effective on items where it’s the same topic, where the admins did the exact same thing policy wise. Any takers on that challenge?

Wonder why nobody has mentioned that the information and investigative discoveries associated with the security clearance applications are actually covered by the Privacy Act. That is why it is highly likely Wray never told the WH the nature of Porter’s personal problem holding up the clearance. There are limits on the information Wray could actually disclose. Plus, it appears somebody may have leaked the application forms and investigative data, a violation of federal codes associated with the Privacy Act.

The media each day makes asses of themselves with their disconnected-from-reality drama and overblown sense of importance. Let them keep going. Do you seriously think people who are returning to the workforce or getting pay raises and bonuses give a rip about the WHP? People are becoming MORE deplorable, and when it comes to the media, the people carry the well-know attitude of the honey badger.

  49. I was thinking McCabe was brought up to speed on Porter months ago. He put a hold on Porter ‘s clearance. Then he worked his mojo with a Fusion GPS type and put the Daily Mail article in motion for release at the right time.

I think the problem was that Obama weaponized FBI was not trusted enough for Porter to have been kicked to the curb preemptively, so the full review was done, which included the WH security staff review.

And who can blame them for not trusting dirty o’l McCabe??

MVW you are right in line with my thinking. In that same vein, I should think that PDJT has enough outside contacts from his previous career that he could get some first rate private investigator working covertly for Kelly and, unbeknown to anyone, they could quietly check out Porters background and put the entire matter to bed. Don’t wait for the FIB er…FBI to hang them out to dry. In fact do that for anyone coming to work for the WH. Crap like wife beating ought to have been a police record at some point.
