    Miller vs Acosta.

Basic question:. Why do people want to come to America? Basic answer:. To be American. What language do they speak in America? English, learn it and don’t expect any taxpayer help translating.

I wanted to hear what Miller was going to say!! I cannot stand how horrible and grotesque Jim Acosta is constantly interrupting, rambling on with utter 💩… all of those people in that room… their rude, condescending smirks and “knowing,” nods… I don’t usually say, “I hate,” but dear Lord, do I hate their behavior.

Acosta apparently is of Cuban background, so why doesn’t he go back to Cuba and find out how people are treated there and why they don’t allow people in who are worthless. The poor man is brainless, prejudiced, and on top of it all, he hasn’t a clue about anything but getting face time.

Agreed… As to Kirsten Powers… That poem was written in 1883 I believe to raise money. I wonder if Kirsten would like to return everything to that era?

Our immigration policy in 2017 is not dictated by Emma Lazarus, any poem, or Acosta, thankfully. BTW, Acosta should never be let back in.

Honestly? It doesn’t mean anything. It is a darned poem. A very sentimental progressive poem. And three of my four grandparents were immigrants. That was then. This is now. Things change. Our immigration policy must change, too. Kirsten Powers is an intellectual lightweight whose thoughts are all informed by the warm fuzzies of emotion.

      • carrierh says:

Sylvia, actually our immigration laws back then required speaking some English, no illness or disease, someone here to support you or a job waiting and that is how my father came over in the early 1900’s and those laws were great, and then we used to have quotas for the different countries as to how many could be accepted. So no real changes needed just enforce what our smarter politicians did back then. People during the last almost 6 decades were not taught our beautiful history but just brainwashed that America is a warrior country and mean. So mean, we send billions of dollars annually to many country so they have food, water, schools, etc., etc. Some people really need to sit down and learn the real America we will MAGA.

    • Steve in Lewes says:

That’s right Kirsten, that poem doesn’t mean anything in regards to the Constitution and the rule of law. Just like “Separation of Church and State”; they are not codified in Law. But as an avowed progressive liberal, I understand your feelings are what you believe should drive our immigration policy. You and people like Acosta show no compassion for the Americans damaged by your little feelings and unfettered immigration. So sad!

From the website I cited above:
“In fact, the original intent of the statue had nothing to do with immigration, it had to do with freedom and liberty. France was thanking us for being the first nation ever to make the rulers of their country aware that freedom and liberty was possible. This is ultimately what lead to the French Revolution.”

Best TV entertainment I’ve seen in a long time. CNN’s Acosta is such a liberally biased dolt he can never see the Forrest for the trees. I doubt that any of these presstitutes every studied American history and how immigration policy has changed over the years to accommodate the waves of immigrants?

To insult, diminish, and besmirch President Trump.

    Absolutely disgusting.

And as Sara is leaving another A$$HST yells out, “Did President Trump call the WH a dump?”

The best use of the Presstitutes is as fresh road kill.

When my great grandparents came here, they only spoke Polish, but they were darn quick to learn English and get themselves jobs. Their children attended schools here and the parents discouraged them from speaking Polish – even at home. Not because they were ashamed of being Polish, but because they were in America now and were proud to be here and wanted to speak the language of this country.

    • Actually, ,my grandmother never learned English; I knew her when she was 76 and she had been in this country for probably close to 50 years. Of course, she did not work, back in those days women stayed home and raised the family and took care of the house. The ethnic groups all stuck together, had their own churches, stores, etc. My grandfather worked, but I never knew him, he died long before I was born, so I have no idea if he spoke English but he must have in order to work. And my father and his siblings all knew English as they were born here, schooled here, etc.

No one ever thought that when they made a phone call that they could select someone with their language to talk to or would expect the stores, etc to cater to them. So, although I understand the requirement to speak English based on our experiences here mostly with the illegal immigrant community from Mexico, it was not a requirement in the past.

    • I don’t know how old your are, but it sounds to me like your grandparents were my parents age.

STEVE MILLER…EXPLOSIVE! He took out Jim Acosta and CNN decisively. Everyone in the News room who asked a question was overwhelmed with his knowledge and Facts. When you are prepared with “TRUE” facts, numbers and able to present them in a practical and common- sense presentation; you will win every time. Correct analysis with True Numbers coupled with common sense logic; will always win the debate…when the America People want the same end results.
I always wondered why he has not been in the Media more…

Yes – you could see the pretended ignorance and rejection of logic, evidence and common sense and the complete lack of concern for American citizens, workers, taxpayers.

They pretend not to know – but truth is – they do not care about Americans, or this country’s security and solvency. Not a bit.

That was the best press conference in the history of White House Press Conferences.

It should have a marble monument in the Rose Garden with the bronze plaque reading “On this date 8/2/2017 Stephen Miller unfairly and decisively decimated the US Press”.

I don’t watch the Press Briefings all the time, sort of by chance and if I am in the mood.

IMO Sarah is steadily improving at the fine art of holding a Press Briefing. She started out strong, but I think she keeps getting better. She indulges them less, she answers deftly and surely most of the time and refuses to engage in arguments or the tiresome repetition of questions. And when she is done, she ends it and leaves quickly.

I also like what she is doing with the letters to the President. It humanizes the President, it normalizes him. Ha, ha, ha. Take that you evil leftists.

Excellent! I totally get why Sean stopped doing them on camera. The posing of the poseurs really grates on my nerves.

But they are highly rated so there should be some way in which PDJT’s team can use them to his advantage. I think we are getting there!

Who WOULDN’T want to see an arrogant CNN troll get taken down? Heh heh heh.

I love how he wrapped it up nicely with a big bright bow and a smile at the end by saying
