sad-muppetsSenator Bernie Sanders goes into the full ‘old man screaming “get off my lawn” mode‘ after he was  put on the spot this morning because of his ideological support for brutal communist dictator Fidel Castro.

Angry Sanders has very grouchy sad because he must retain his condolences privately amid his fellow socialist/communist besties within the Occupy Wall Street crowd.

“A lot of people have left Cuba for better dreams”. That’s implying people were free to come and go whenever they wished. Is Cuba having to deal with a big problem of Central Americans and Mexicans trying to get INTO Cuba?
“Castro’s Cuba was so wonderful that Cubans continually risked their lives in makeshift boats to come here and tell us about it.”

Sometimes they survived, yes. But they didn’t ” leave” with real prospects of survival, did they Bernie. What a hypocrite!!!1

Bernie seemed upset in that interview, I guess he’s still in mourning for his fellow communist.
Bernie honeymooned in the former Soviet Union in the 1980s.
He also swung by Cuba during that honeymoon.
Jack Reed and Louise Bryant were a couple of American communist writers and I think that Bernie idolizes them. I believe that Reed is the only American that’s buried in the Kremlin Wall cemetery. I wonder if Bernie has a plot there.

beaujest, excellent and extensive article from Legal Insurrection discussing her scam:

“How Bernie Sanders’ Wife Destroyed Burlington College”

      [excerpt]
A major pillar of the Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign is free college. In perhaps the most tragically ironic political metaphor of this election, Burlington College, a small privately owned school in Vermont is now going out of business, largely due to decisions made by Bernie Sanders’ wife, Jane, who served as the college’s president for seven years.

When Jane Sanders was hired by Burlington College in 2004, the school was already facing financial problems but was able to maintain day to day operations for several years.

Things began to change in 2010, when Jane Sanders led the school to a financial decision which would forever alter the school’s destiny.

Under her leadership, Burlington College purchased a lakefront property from the Catholic Diocese of Burlington for $10 million dollars with the goal of expanding the school’s campus.

The decision was considered risky at the time because the school made the purchase by going into debt.

Interesting. We (i.e. those of us who were brainwashed into believing that Castro was some sort of justice warrior) were told that Castro resented the disparities between the rich and poor, and, thus, strove to provide Cubans with equal opportunities. In reality, Castro was just another communist who resented the rich…..only because he wasn’t one of them. Envy, not genuine concern for the welfare of fellow Cubans, was the driving force.

A brief background: I am a first generation American. My folks are from a country which benefitted from Cuba’s assistance back in those days (i.e. Medical assistance). So you can imagine the perception….and how that was passed on from person to person.

LOL. In a bizarre way, I guess I can thank Obama for my escape. In 2008 (while still a Democrat….or DINO (Democrat In Name Only), I was briefly intrigued by his candidacy. After a little more investigating and reflection, I switched to Hillary (yeah, I know, no difference). After the Democrats ignored the will of the people and anointed Obama, I washed my hands of the Democrats and switched to Republican (I’m currently Independent/Unaffiliated, though). So, here I am. Getting used to the real world is still challenging, because it involves serious deprogramming on my end (and also questioning if I was really liberal to begin with).

There are more choices than Republican vs. Dem…… In fact, is was not until about the 1950s that ANYONE was known as progressive or conservative…….in fact our founding fathers were American Civic Nationalists–embracing all races creeds and colors, but rejecting those immigrants who refuse to assimilate into our culture.

We are neither leftists nor right-wing but believe in common sense government…… and a government of, for and by the people…..

As an early and current Libertarian, I still support the original purpose and platform: free minds and free markets! I’m still friends with those early LP people after some 40 years!
Plus both of my daughters and two grand kids are Libertarians!

Commie talking points: classless and free, no wealth inequality, blah blah blah.
Reality: the elite (Castro, Raul, their lieutenants, etc) inherited (I mean, stole) all the property from the pre-Castro wealthy people.
They live in Bernie-style comfort and luxury while the people (peasants, non-elite) are all EQUALLY poor and miserable.

Didn’t “we” (concerned about truth news junkies) already debunk the “great health care” Cuba had/has? I thought they a) separate out really sick people – put them in severe isolation b) have hallways with gross, unclean cots where people are left to die………. or was that a myth? I have NEVER known Bumbling Bernie to be correct on anything, so I’ll be skeptical about the “great” health care plan of any communist country or violent dictatorship. (just me perhaps)….

Bernie loved bringing up the candidate’s past, but boy oh boy…..bring up his and he shows his true colors. He’s a hot-headed nut job. He’s a communist and embraces all it stands for, but can’t say it while U.S. Senator. It’s absolutely horrifying to think, had democrats not sabotaged his campaign, he just may have won. Americans are turning out more leftist nuts by the day, thanks to the liberal, nutty professors and teachers. It seems as some are already creating their own little anti-American armies.

  20. What doesn’t BARNYARD understand about being IRRELEVANT now? He can’t even draw flies at rallies now, maybe about 200 or so people. He already made a deal with the devil when he endorsed Hillary Clinton and as far as I’m concerned once he became her bith he’s still her bitch and damaged goods. Answering a question about Castro on the day Castro died with a snarling statement about holding Trump to his promises when Trump has not yet even been sworn in is so preposterous. He acts like some of the fair weather Trump supporters who have also been second guessing Trump accusing him of the same. Except they have been ever WORSE.

I don’t even need to watch the clip as I have heard the same rhetoric over and over again since the 60’s. It is using the people as a tool for them to amass riches and power all in the name of some goal that is not achievable. They are the absolute worst in knowing the outcome and yet lying their way into power. These people hate people who actually make wealth from the sweat of their brow.
