tomb of the unknown - memorial dayOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

  2. Hi Sundance: Lots of us rely on your posts and insight. There can be no doubt that this website is contributing to the revival of America by revealing the GOPe/Uniparty and encouraging Mr. Trump. I, for one, have learned more in the past year and a half here than in many years.

So I’m sure I speak for many when I say, “Thank you!” God bless you for your work on behalf of our country.

For those of you who doubt this, let me give you a little “HEADS UP” about just how MUCH of an impact this site is having, and give you an example of WHO is watching what’s written here, not just in the posts, but in our comments. THIS comes from a Facebook post by one of America’s GREAT Conservative leaders, Governor SARAH PALIN:

Amazingly, based on complicit silence, here are things Hillary DOESN’T find “horrific” (hat tip commenters on

Tomorrow is Erev Yom Kippur when a people who have much to atone for get themselves right with God. We should be so wise, right? Well I wish to kick things off by giving Thanks for the the following much abbreviated list of the chosen people.
    Alfred Adler – Austrian psychologist
Harold Arlen (Hyman Arluck) – composer (Over the Rainbow, among others)
Lilian Baylis – founder, Old Vic theater
Israel Isidore Baline (Irving Berlin) – composer and lyricist
    Bernard Berenson – art historian
    Isaiah Berlin – philosopher
Count Folke Bernadotte – vice chair Red Cross, WW 2
    Sarah Bernhardt – actress
Leonard Bernstein – composer and conductor
    Ernest Bloch – composer
Niels Henrik David Bohr – physicist
    Louis Dembitz Brandeis – jurist
    August Brentano – book seller
Edward Israel Iskowitz Cantor – comedian
Andrei Friedman (Robert Capra) – photographer
    Bennett Alfred Cerf – publisher
    Marc Chagall (Segal) – painter
Andre Gustav Citroen – industrialist and auto maker
Samuel cohen (Sammy Cahn) – lyricist
    Aaron Copland – composer
So, you see how it is, only the ABCs so far in a list limited to just some of the Joo boyz and gurlz who have enriched our lives in the century past. My full list runs three pages, of which the above is the top half of the first page. Somewhere or other I read that those who bless Israel will themselves be blessed. Seems to me we already have been.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for giving Bill Clinton’s and Hillary Clinton’s victims the courage to speak out tonight and the courage to sit in the front row. Please keep all of them safe and please keep Donald Trump and his whole family safe.
Let those women know that by coming forward, they are helping to get Trump elected and in turn they are helping to save this nation.
Please help to bring these women some justice by Trump’s win and the Clintons getting some justice served to them.
    In Jesus name. Amen.

Well I will not be sitting at a computer with cup of coffee for a good while. My wife and I were due to return to SC on 22nd but I have had to book a flight to return on my own because of the storm.
My house in not to bad apparently, just superficial stuff like last year. My boat has been washed away so I have got to go and find it.
It is a 39ft catamaran so it will not sink but it could have flipped over or got pounded against a tree or something. Why make a fuss about a boat? Well it my home for six moths of the year (apart from this year that is) so is a big deal to me. So I don’t get here before November I will offer my congratulations for the momentous Trump victory in advance.

Here I am alert at 3:30 in the morning, having difficulty loading comments, so please excuse me if this has already been suggested: Could somebody please start a GoFundMe account for rape/Hillary cackle victim, Kathy Shelton? Kathy has lived a hard life after her rape at age 12. She seems to be a shy person and I admire her courage for coming forward. When I think of Kathy’s life of hardship compared to Chelsea’s pampered life, it just makes me sick.

    • Yes.I saw this on the morning “News”. Since they’re not a legitimate “State” there are no diplomatic channels to follow in order to seek an end to this. Maybe we should drop a few leaflets on Tehran, warning their leaders to stop encouraging the Houthis aggression against US ships. We could tape them to some 2,000 lb bombs.

Lengthy but revealing article from the NY Post (10/9/16):

“How dumb does Washington think we all are?”

How dumb do Washington bureaucrats think you are? Really amazingly dumb. Now we have hard data to prove it.

Instead of polling Americans about Washington again, a pair of academics at Johns Hopkins tried something new — polling Washington about Americans. What they found was a combination of ignorance, contempt and disdain.

Survey data from the polled group — staffers from the White House and Capitol Hill plus career civil servants and the policy community of lobbyists and others who work closely with government from outside it — indicate that the functionary class thinks of itself as our betters. Our bosses, not our representatives. They see their own judgment as being far superior to that of the rest of us — the people whose wishes they are supposed to be carrying out.

Some weeks ago on another thread I reminded a fellow of the notorious dictum of Carl von Clausewitz (1780-1831) that war is just politics conducted by other means, and a little reflection tends to confirm this. The point of the reminder was to posit the unstated corollary that politics is just warfare by other means, an idea that the left has always accepted from the days of the meeting of the Estates General, which were hijacked by Robespierre and his pre-Bolshevik thugs.
The right on the other hand has always been childishly ignorant about this idea, and have conducted themselves as if they were above such unseemly behavior, and thus for all my lifetime and more they have been supremely ineffective in dealing with their political enemies, with the rare exceptions being Joe McCarthy, and Ronald Reagan.
Last night you saw the first man on our side to understand the severity of modern political contests in operation, and it is clear from the joy expressed far and wide that we feel defended and justified for the first time in decades.

Through out the biblical text, many of The Lord’s chosen ones are highly flawed people. He chose Jacob over Isaac and Paul a Christian persecutor, was the greatest desciple/apostle.

Many of the #neverTrump people sound like the teachers of the Law, while the Dems. & media sound like the Roman Empire.

I listened to the debate at 3.00 am our time. Having been brought up on the myths about Kennedy v Nixon, I’ve always preferred listening to watching, although I accept that I miss out on the nuances of body language. My wife watched a repeat later in the morning. We had completely different takes on the debate. Have I become a racist, sexist reactionary? Is the CTH becoming an echo chamber for my prejudices? Or is it that I am finally seeing through the liberal attitudes in which I was raised? In my defense I’ll say that I discovered that I was a bit of reactionary back in the seventies when I was doing sociology at university. I was a member of the UK Labour Party and felt that the Marxists were selling out the working class. What a long, strange journey it has been! Despite the last phrase, I was never a hippy. More power to Sundance and fellow Treepers! (Am I allowed to say fellow given that many of the posters are women?)

something the vile guttersnipe clinton must surely resent.

Just found this and I am BEYOND pizzed. Love to shop at Kroger and it’s really the only place I feel safe about buying meat. With that said, I think it’s time we gave KROGER some grief. Make this crap viral. If they can’t serve police officers who risk their lives each minute of the day, then they need to hear from all of us to demand an apology and FIRE THESE INGRATES ! Grrrrrrrr. This is the second Kroger to refuse to serve LE. Spring, Texas (link in article) and Alexandria, Louisiana. And no apologies from corporate. Let your voice be heard, please !

    Blue Lives DO matter !

    • ” And no apologies from corporate.”

      They have apologized.

That said, I and others on twitter are waiting to see if they will say what they did to keep this from happening again. I’m sick of these stories. Who did that dumb woman intend to call if the store got robbed? Her manager? No, she would have wanted the police to show up.

Thanks, Rhea. I noted the article post date was 10/9 and they said it had been 2 weeks with no response…that really angered me so much. Will we ever know what “punishment” was received? Hope so.

        • Based on the replies my tweet in response to Kroger got, and the other gentleman’s tweet that I responded too, people are not happy with Kroger.

I understand that corporations can’t micromange their employees down to the local cashier, but honestly, if I let my “issues” get in the way of me doing my job like that I’d get fired, no questions asked.

          I don’t understand people anymore.

  25. Willfully stepped into a hornet’s nest on twitter today. I know I’m fighting a losing battle, but I see so much misinformation I can’t help myself sometimes. I’m sick of the morally outraged crybabies over there. Today is Columbus day, so naturally there’s all the whining and moaning about how Columbus landed in the new world and massacred all the Indians. It was genocide! (Does anyone even read history anymore, or do they just go straight to hysterics these days? And what are these morons learning in school, anyway?)

In Dinesh D’Souza’s book America, he deals with this claim a little bit. Helpfully, (or at least, helpfully for the non-ignorant) he points out that words have meanings, and genocide “implies an intention to wipe out a people.” He also notes that it’s true Indians died from diseases they had no immunity too, but Europeans also died from diseases they had no immunity too, namely, the Black Plague was imported from the Mongol Steppes (page 93 of the hardback edition.)

Anyway, there’s some FACTS for the day. You might share them with anyone you meet who’s whining about things that never happened. For what it’s also worth, my Patriot’s History also notes that the original estimate of how many Indians were here when Columbus arrived are over-inflated.

Question: would we have Twitter if there had been no America? Would we have America if it hadn’t been for Columbus? the world will never know, because Columbus did arrive in the New World.

    Happy Columbus Day!

The morons are teaching in the schools, they stand at the head of the class, and are leading the innocent over the cliff. The fools, perverts and traitors own the “education” industry. Period.

It is great at explaining the dating game of today, an entire chapter devoted to Tinder. Discusses how messed up modern American culture is, and how feminism is killing masculinity. Parents with single children who are struggling to find someone with decent moral values need to read her book.

smi, I read Scoundrel Time some 35 years ago. If I had read it 40 tears ago I would have been sympathetic. but, too late as it were. I gladly fall back on my Spanish heritage and say, if it were up to me I would have burned the witch. And as well I consider the possibility that she was a fraud on top of all else, and that without the talents of Dash behind her she would have been little more than a stage struck slut.
Like the Wizard, I will give your suggestion a little thought.
BTW your reference to the Voice of the Martyrs very pleasing and I hope got the attention of many here.
To return to LH, she was only interested in defending her commie/intellectual buddies from “injustice” She never gave a hoot for regular folks. Hers was the kind of unjustifiable superiority I can never swallow.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil. Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.

Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Guide those in need of shelter in Hurricane Matthew and give them peace.

Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
