Statement: Donald Trump Opposes Ceding Internet Control To Foreign Powers…

Candidate Donald Trump has released the following statement on the controversial President Obama plan to hand over control of the internet to the United Nations:

trump standing in gap

“Donald J. Trump is committed to preserving Internet freedom for the American people and citizens all over the world. The U.S. should not turn control of the Internet over to the United Nations and the international community. President Obama intends to do so on his own authority – just 10 days from now, on October 1st, unless Congress acts quickly to stop him.

The Republicans in Congress are admirably leading a fight to save the Internet this week, and need all the help the American people can give them to be successful. Hillary Clinton’s Democrats are refusing to protect the American people by not protecting the Internet.

The U.S. created, developed and expanded the Internet across the globe. U.S. oversight has kept the Internet free and open without government censorship – a fundamental American value rooted in our Constitution’s Free Speech clause.

Internet freedom is now at risk with the President’s intent to cede control to international interests, including countries like China and Russia, which have a long track record of trying to impose online censorship. Congress needs to act, or Internet freedom will be lost for good, since there will be no way to make it great again once it is lost.”

Thank you! Among all the current noise, this is a story that has taken a back seat. Please, I implore everyone here to get on the phone, write letters, send faxes and whatever means necessary to oppose this blatant threat to our liberties. Obama, the Globalist, knows this, which is why he is so willing to go forward with his sinister plan. If congress abdicates on this, then we will know without a doubt they can be labeled traitors and will be treated as such.

This is very easy to imagine-
If a time traveler could go back to 2008, when Obama was running for President, & told the entire country exactly what Obama would do as President, Obama would’ve called him an Out & Out, BALD-FACED LIAR.

If that time traveler could tell the country that Obama would go to the United Nations and warn them of the dangers of pursuing an Americanist agenda, do you think he would embrace or deny that claim?

This arrogant piece of work KNOWS he could never have been elected if the country knew he would take us down a path that places America’s interests second.

Our country is like the frog in the pan of water being cooked slowly on simmer, because if the water were pre-heated before you put the frog in, he would’ve jumped out immediately and said, “Screw this Jack, I’m outta here!”

It is the handover of the Internet Root Zone File.

From what I understand, this is the Master File of all Internet Domain Codes…and thus, the Control of all those Domains.

Whomever controls the ‘Net Root Zone’ can delete domains.
So the potential for abuse is enormous.

It’s hard to say what exactly “gets transferred” with Hussein pushing this agenda, Some techies I’ve spoken with say oh, no big deal, it’s only the domain registry. I’ve heard many different interpretations.

I won’t be buying a domain name any time soon. There’s plenty of info on American citizens available just from the domain registry alone.

Bottom line: Do you trust Hussein with our Internet freedom? What could possibly go wrong?

I have already e-mailed my two DC congresspersons on Others prefer to call.

TIME IS SHORT. The deal gets done by this Friday September 30th unless Congress stops Hussein.

  5. Obama is looking more like {{creepy}} SLENDERMAN every day. And a little Barney Fife – esque as well. I wonder if he has ARC (Aids Related Complex); or if his liver is just poisoned from doing so much drugs the past decade coupled with smoking a few packs of cigarettes a day? In any case, he looks like he has some kind of body wasting going on. His jackets look like a kid’s size jacket. One photo I saw his leg was up on a desk and it looked like a femur bone with a sock and a shoe on the end of it.

Obama’s shoulder and arm do not fill his jacket, the sleeve is caved in where a normal sized arm would fill, propped up by the stiff shoulder pad.

So glad to see Trump’s response. I’ve been writing it in when responding to his surveys. I’m guessing thousands, if not more, of his supporters have done the same. This has to be one of the biggest planned coups of the globalists; it seems they’ve been extremely careful to keep it under wraps as much as possible. Ramifications make my blood run cold. I may be short-sighted here, but I can’t imagine anything about this can be rescinded if it goes through – can’t unring the proverbial bell. BO has surreptitiously and arbitrarily passed more controversial bills into law than this country has ever seen. How do we neutralize this ominous threat when this crazed and desperate despot has 119 days until inauguration?

Giant corporations routinely work hand in glove with government to impose regulations that they both argue are for the protection of the public, but which either impose insurmountable barriers to entry into markets the giants already dominate, or impose huge compliance costs on those already in those markets that the giants can absorb but that drive their small competitors out of business. Kind of kludgy wording, but you get the idea.

These criminals have excluded themselves from common laws they pass, secured their salaries, benefits and pensions, vote their paychecks, structured voting districts and FEC laws to protect their seats and basically have given their constituents the visible in your face middle-finger since oh about 911.

And like Charlie Brown/Lucy we still have folks posting thumbs up praise, fingers-crossed hope and links from “their” reps or celebrity politician that has been selected for opposition (likely election coming up/tight race with outsider) to keep us idiots thinking that at least some of them still have our interests at heart.

    • This will go through, the GOP probably signed off on this a long time ago. Is there anyway that once Trump takes office he can just renege on the agreement, call it null and void, and kick ICANN out of the US if need be? This is our best option. Leftists do not like the USA controlling our own assets, especially when they benefit the world. You didn’t build that remember. This is similar to that SOB leftist Carter giving away the Panama Canal back in the 70’s, we should seize it too while we are at it. Both of these are ours, and I am sick of leftist Dems just giving them to the world because they hate America so much.

Here’s the response I got from my Senator when I requested she vote for HR5418:

Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns about the future of the Internet. I appreciate hearing your views on this important subject, and I welcome the opportunity to respond.

As you may know, the U.S. Department of Commerce manages and oversees the nonprofit Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers’ (ICANN) day-to-day activities and policies. The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) is a department of ICANN that participates in coordinating domain names, number resources, and protocol assignments. The Commerce Department originally announced it would not renew its contract with ICANN when it was set to expire in fall 2015. On August 17, 2015, the Commerce Department announced that it would extend its contract through September 30, 2016.

I understand that you are concerned that the transition of the Commerce Department’s roles in IANA functions will relinquish the United States’ role in the domain name system. I also recognize that you are concerned that ICANN has continued to coordinate with Internet stakeholders to develop a transition proposal.

You may be interested to know that on June 11, 2015, Senator John Thune (R-SD) introduced the “DOTCOM Act of 2015” (S. 1551), which would prohibit the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) Assistant Secretary of Commerce from allowing the office’s role in the IANA functions to cease until 30 legislative days after the Assistant Secretary submits a report to Congress. This report would contain the proposal about the transition of the NTIA’s role in the IANA functions and a certification by the Assistant Secretary that the proposal will, among other things, maintain the security of the domain name system and not replace the role of NTIA with a government-led or intergovernmental organization. The bill was adopted by voice-vote in Committee and is now awaiting consideration by the full Senate.

Additionally, the Fiscal Year 2016 Federal Appropriations law (Public Law 114-113), which I supported, contained a provision barring the relinquishment of domain name functions during the fiscal year. Please be assured that I will keep your concerns in mind as I continue to monitor the situation…..

Anyone care to translate the above? Thanks.

      • Mike says:

        This, too:

“The NTIA announcement of its intent to allow the IANA functions contract to expire is a direct violation of the current law prohibiting any use of taxpayer funds “to relinquish the responsibility … with respect to Internet domain name system functions, including responsibility with respect to the authoritative root zone file and the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority [IANA] functions.”

In one of the articles I posted earlier one of the Senators has had success putting a rider on a bill to stop the UN takeover (or at least delay it). There was also mention, that Dept. Coommerce has already indicated there might be an extension (delay of UN Internet takeover), but it seems that is only if Congress does not make it easy on them…

They are US CONrats who only get into, and stay in office if they are subservient to those who own them. Cynthia McKinney, Black Rep in the House got “removed” from office because she would not pledge her allegiance to another “flag.” She has not been the only one who has stood independently, talked frankly, and was weaseled out of Congress one way or another. Former, now deceased , U.S. Rep. James Traficant of Ohio was another one.

Yes, my thoughts too. It’s not like he just heard about it. Timing is important and he knows more about what’s going on there than we. Thank God he has Sessions on his side and can advise, etc. Hopefully, they can do something – this was planned long ago and didn’t expect the Trump phenomenon to happen. Since they see that it’s likely Trump will become Pres. and want re-election, etc. some important votes may change. Who knows. But it’s comforting Trump will have his people on this too.

Obama Want’s To Be Head of The United Nations – Thus Dictator of The World.

He Has Been and Still is Arranging and Transferring Everything Needed To Take Control of The World Over To The UN. This is All Globalism and Part of The New World Order – NWO Plan.

UN Global Policing of American Cities UN Strong Cities Network
On Sep 30, 2015 Loretta Lynch announced before the United Nations that the Attorney General’s Office, in collaboration with several US Cities will for a global law enforcement initiative called the Strong Cities Network.

This is the implementation of UN rules and laws on US soil bypassing Congress and circumventing the Constitution.

UN Global Internet Control and Censorship And Now Obama Gives Away Control of The Internet.
Just So the oncoming Economic Nuclear Winter comes as no surprise.

Let’s go over the mounting evidence that The Internet as we know it will be commandeered by Globalist censors beginning midnight October 1st, when an entirely new era of the Internet will begin.

Originally, President Obama promised that the Fed’s handover of the antitrust protected Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers or ICANN would not involve the United Nations. Was this, yet again, a naïve move by an incompetent President of the United States? Or has this been the plan all along?

Time and time again Congress has failed to pass draconian laws to control the internet.

The Communications Decency Act of 1996, The Intellectual Property Enforcement Act of 2007, The Cybersecurity Act, The Protect IP Act of 2011, and SOPA to name a few all failed miserably against the ironclad integrity of the First Amendment.

The Globalist scurrying to their den of iniquity at Bilderberg would hear none of it. The internet must be controlled. Their very fortunes and lives depend on it. The public knows too much already.

Control of the internet had to be torn from the protection of the U.S. Constitution.

Did DOJ Strong Cities Network Put US Under Islamic Law?

Internet Censorship is happening in Europe .The undemocratic EU passed a law enabling rich and powerful people to have content they don’t like removed from the Internet .So if you have been caught out in a compromising position and articles were written in newspapers say ,if you are rich enough with powerful lawyers ,you can apply to google and have it removed. They will remove it.

And also Every Democrat who is up for election this year.

The MSM has been gaslighting us about this.
That’s because they want this to happen…they want Internet Censorship.
So the Enemedia has been ignoring this, and if anyone brings it up, they dismiss it as “Nothing to worry about”.

I am so grateful that Mr.Trump has mentioned this.
Hopefully he will keep bringing it up until Congress does their job…and stops this from happening.
