North Carolina – A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer shot and killed an armed man named Keith Scott at an apartment complex Tuesday, while executing an arrest warrant. Angry street protests began almost immediately.
CMPD Chief Kerr Putney reiterated Wednesday morning that Keith Scott was armed when he approached officers in University City Tuesday. Putney said that officers gave repeated verbal commands for Scott to drop his handgun. He said Scott posed a threat to the officers.
Channel 9 obtained an image from the scene of the shooting that shows a gun on the ground near Scott’s feet as officers stood around him. Officials confirmed to Channel 9 that is the weapon they confiscated from Keith Scott. (sourcing)

I agree 100%. He works for the people and he has no place in telling the community that pays his salary, the people that he SERVES that they cannot see this video (the video that paid for). In other videos, that gun falls from either a pocket of one of the other officers (blatantly or from the damn sky.He “made a threatening move TOWARD the officers.” THE MAN WAS SITTING IN HIS CAR! The tape I wanted released because it would show that the officers were right to shoot Scott (which it did). He also should have arrested Scott’s trashy family for inciting a riot with their lies. Not one of the protest riots to date was based on truth, not a single one. Dead black men equal money for the BLM terrorists and that is the ONLY reason they are out there spreading their BS. It’s time for America to take back OUR country from the BLM terrorists who are trying to destroy it.
The convicted felon HAD A GUN and holster. This “officer planting the gun” BS is made up by the trashy daughter, brother and pathetic wife, who by the way couldn’t give a damn about her husband. All Scott had to do was drop the gun and listen to the cops, he chose not to and got shot. I guess he won’t do that again will he. If Scott wasn’t going to use his weapon, he would have dropped it and he didn’t. Clean shoot period.
I thank those officers for protecting us and getting another dangerous perp off the streets.

The Carolina Panthers play the Vikings in Charlotte on Sunday. The Charlotte movers and shakers have moved heaven and earth for Jerry Richardson before so I have no doubt they will do it again. Perhaps Jerry can give us a few tearful remarks and the city will offer up more taxpayer funds to help support his favorite hobby. I noticed that the Charlotte Observer has shut down all comments on this story. I suppose the truth hurts.

Listening to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police scanner feed online and they had reports of a large crowd gathering at the Southpark Mall. Seems like they disbanded into the mall before officers arrived on scene though. And now two black suspects just robbed a store and now reports of shots fired by black suspects in Northridge. Now hearing about some kid posted comments on Facebook about inciting a riot at a school.
If this is the calm before the storm, then I hate to see what tonight will bring.

Protests during the G20 in Pittsburgh were peaceful, but shut down by the police here. The first use of a sound cannon occurred to clear the crowds. You are right. You do not see this sort of thing occurring in small towns across the country. This is intentionally directed at the intercity of many large towns and especially at the younger generations in cities where Democrats rule.
It is very sad that those that made themselves a part of this problem have harmed so many blacks who love this country and worked hard to live the American dream.

I guess because I spent majority of life on West Coast in a different COUNTRY (California) that I cannot possibly relate to the southern race relations between “whites” and “blacks.” Where I came from we all hung around together and no one really paid much attention to skin color in places like HOLLYWEIRD. The bible belt places and the South is much a mystery to me.

Charlotte, North Carolina violent protests erupted following another officer involved shooting yesterday afternoon. Around 4 PM, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to an apartment complex, where they were searching for a suspect with an outstanding arrest warrant. The Police encountered an armed individual and approached the man believing it could be the suspect.
“Officials say the person exited the car with a gun, then got back in. The statement said when officers approached the car, the person got out of the car with the gun again. The officers considered the person to be a threat and fired their weapons. Emergency personnel took the person to the Carolina Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect’s identity hasn’t been released. The officers have been placed on administrative leave.”
Since the report broke, the identities of the officer involved and the victim have been released. Officer Brentley Vinson feeling threatened made the decision to take down 43 year-old Keith Lamont Scott on Tuesday evening. Following the shooting, violent protests broke out and continued well into the night and early morning. Media coverage caught the carnage in Charlotte on video where violent protesters clashed with police in riot gear.

“The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department tweeted that demonstrators were destroying marked police vehicles and that approximately 12 officers had been injured, including one who was hit in the face with a rock. Television coverage showed police firing tear gas to break up the crowd. The protests came just hours after another demonstration in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over the shooting there of an unarmed black man.”
Witnesses also reported some of the protesters yelling “Black lives matter,” and “Hands up, don’t shoot!” Another protester held up a sign which read “Stop Killing Us.” The violent clash in Charlotte between the people and the police marks the latest in a string of racially motivated demonstrations against Americas Police forces.
Majority if not all Americans would agree that the death of Keith Lamont Scott is a tragedy and that America needs more of an explanation. But, the violent demonstrations that follow these tragic events are not productive and take away from their cause. Scenes from Charlotte are completely uncalled for like scenes from Missouri in the aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting were uncalled for.
To social justice groups like Black Lives Matter, Black lives only matter to them if they can be utilized as a means to a political end. Officer Brentley Vinson is an African American that made a tough decision in Charlotte yesterday afternoon.
A decision that he will probably regret the rest of his life.
Groups like Black Lives Matter claim that minorities are constantly being targeted by police officers all around the United States and as a result of this oppression, they cannot peacefully protest any longer. This is simply a lie and these types of claims cannot hold up to the statistics. Multiple studies have shown this including one done by an African-American Economics professor at Harvard University.
In July of 2016, Roland G. Fryer, Jr. conducted a study to explore the racial differences regarding police officers use of force. In the report, Fryer and his team analyzed data from 10 major police departments from the year 2000 to 2015.
Following the study, Fryer explained that the team discovered “the most surprising result of my career.”

“On non-lethal uses of force, blacks and Hispanics are more than 50% more likely to experience some form of force in interactions with police…On the most extreme use of force—officer—involved shootings—we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account.”
Several other studies even show that whites are more likely to be shot and killed by police officers. But, the George Soros run social justice revolution would have you believe that the average cop is sitting in a tower picking off black people. Black Lives Matter is a group that George Soros has donated hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions of dollars to.
To be clear, George Soros is an Austrian billionaire and globalist who funds groups that promote violence in countries around the world in order to overthrow their governments. Today, he works closely with the Democratic Party, where they establish organizations all over the country that foment division and violence in local communities.
For example, one organization responsible for the violent protests in Ferguson, Missouri was Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment or MORE. The group is funded by George Soros and a leaked list surfaced where he “paid over 80 individuals and organizations” to protest the shooting last year in Missouri. Now, the Soros groups are in Charlotte and their protests led to 12 injured officers and further racial division in this country.
