Interesting Choice of Design Enhancements For New White House Fence…

coded message 2Andrea Shaea King noticed some interesting new design elements in the recently upgraded fence surrounding the White House.

The New York Times has an article about Donald Trump and the GOP. Within the story on the NYT website there’s a video to give the GOP story some depth. Within the video the fence design elements were first noticed.

Some additional research into the fence and how it was upgraded for security reveals those design elements are quite factually there.

Interesting.

I guess I just don’t see what the problem is here. I’ve seen plenty of fences like this, I don’t see anything sinister.

Perhaps, labrat, you could post photos of those “plenty of fences like this” and give us all a chance to make such a determination. Whatever the design reasons, the fence is full-ugly.

“All it takes” to do what? Jump to emotional, erroneous conclusions? Maybe you SHOULD have taken the time to do some reading on the subject, including this entire comment thread. Several people have already posted photo evidence that those arch or dome segments have been there in the White House fence since the late 1800s. If you look at ancient cathedrals in Europe, you’ll see that same shape used over and over in windows, archways, buttresses, and other structural design features. It’s a common design theme throughout Christianity.

        • Yes, exactly, and minarets were added to those domes of cathedrals when they were conquered by savages – and the blood of locals was still flowing in the streets, and their children and wives were stolen and made sex slaves and soldiers – and the savage barbarians turned them into mosques…like in Constantinople, and Northern Cyprus, and they burned or sold or painted over all the icons and mosaics. Why even Boy George ended up with an icon from Northern Cyprus which he bought at auction and was good enough to give back when he found out it had been plundered.

Yes, indeed. The symbolism is clear. Thanks for reminding us.

I think it’s important to specify exactly what we’re supposed to be seeing because I think we’re not all zeroing in on the same detail.

The Islamic onion arch was installed during the Ford administration. That onion arch, as an architectural detail is said to have connection with the Tartar invasion… Turks if you will.

It is also sourced from the Byzantines.

I think there can be a lot of confusion about this as Christianity is technically a middle-eastern religion. As we know and understand it by our cultural standards, it is Western-European, but the sources and many practices originate from that part of the world and the history therein.

So if we’re talking about spikes to keep jumpers off? Well… that’s a bit of a non-story unless someone can specifically point to something Islamic about those spikes.

I don’t care for the design myself, but most of it predates Obama.

… we are not all seeing the same things. I think we need to be more specific more often.

Perhaps I am overly sensitive to the Islamic invasion of the USA, but I see Islamic symbolism or Middle Eastern symbolism with that arch. IMO,it does not compliment the architectural design of the White House. It needs to go!

It was just a normal iron bar fence and at some point some of the vertical bars were remove right where the view lines up with the front door of the white house and the decorative section installed. This was no doubt done on purpose for the obvious effect. Ghastly!

the 2nd photo in this series show that section as normal (year? 2001?)
scrolling down to the 15th photo the section has been replaced.

1937: The 1818 and 1873 wrought-iron fences were removed and replaced by a steel fence topped by tall bronze spears.

    • grant404 says:

True, but even the fence prior to 1937 incorporated spears or spikes, as can be seen in photos from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The above mentioned site says that the spikes from the pre-1937 fence were put in storage for a few years then contributed to the scrap metal drive early in WW2.

The article is dated April 2011. I recall back during that time all the construction was going on and everyone wondered about what was going on. I know they already had a basement and a bomb shelter/control room deep underground to protect the President in case of an attack on the White House. The best speculation was probably extending the control room or making more room for Family and staff. But who really knows.

    • Jso Rsa says:

Lots of tin foil hat silliness in that 2012 article. In reality, the White House has had several “secret” subterranean levels since the major gutting and rebuild that took place during the Truman Administration, and the WW2 era bomb shelter under the East Wing. One of those Truman era below-ground levels contains the “situation room” (the PEOC). Of course those areas are “secret”, as well they should be. There has also been at least one “secret” underground passage connecting the White House to the Treasury Building since at least the JFK administration, and others have been rumored for decades. it’s been pointed out that many of the buildings in Washington, government and otherwise, have extensive underground levels and passages not only for security, but also due to visible architecture and allowable building height being so strictly regulated in DC.

Time for a nice, new fence, to go with the nice, new residents. No weird designs, just something that augments the architecture of the building, and leaves nothing for speculation. After 2008 a lot of things are going to need to be overhauled..

How about no fence and no walls around any fed-gov buildings, except maybe the treasury. Put the fences and walls on the borders and expect the citizens of a secure and free, democratic republic to respect those lawfully elected to power. If a “popularly elected” president needs a big, spikey fence to keep himself safe from his own people, what does that say about lawful, popular elections? Would also make it easier to get rid of usurpers, like the current residents.

  12. Jett Black says:

It looks like the MB 4 pillars/fingers symbol on top of a gothic arch. Since the fence long precedes the significance of that symbol, it’s just a jarring, poorly executed design element, rather than a symbol of the pisslamic conspiracy now existing behind the fence.

Interestingly, in 1917, when one of the better historical pics posted was taken, Woodrow Wilson was president. WW put forth a 14 point plan to remake the Ottoman Empire and the Arab tribal nations under it, after the Ottoman Empire’s defeat by the Allies in WWI. WW was an early prog–trying to ram his then-new-age, globalist ideas down everyone’s throats. He was characterized, by Rudolf Steiner, an apologist for the defeated Central Powers, Germany and the Ottoman Empire, as a reincarnation of one of Mo-ham-head’s compatriots, Muavija, an even earlier adopter of theo-prog-nazism.

Mohammad statue at the Supreme Court
“Sculpture figures prominently in the Corinthian architecture of the Court Building. One chamber features a frieze decorated with a bas-relief sculpture by Adolph A. Weinman of eighteen influential law-givers. The south wall depicts Menes, Hammurabi, Moses, Solomon, Lycurgus, Solon, Draco, Confucius and Octavian, while the north wall depicts Napoleon Bonaparte, John Marshall, William Blackstone, Hugo Grotius, Louis IX, King John, Charlemagne, Justinian and, you guessed it, Mohammad.”

“…in 1997, the fledgling Council on American-Islamic Relations brought their wrath to the Court, petitioning then-Chief Justice William Rehnquist to remove the sculpture.”
