I often wonder if the GOP has considered voters such as myself in the road map to elect an established candidate and roadblocking Trump. I am a registered Democrat. I do plan to swing to the other side and vote for Trump. If Trump does not have a chance in the presidential election, I will swing back and vote for a Democrat. This is simply because none of the other Republican candidates appear trustworthy, electable, or have a strong history of leadership. This is the case for most of the folks I speak to…..Trump is pulling voters from the other side of the aisle………either we can vote for Trump as a republican or you lose our vote and we vote against the party.

There is a reason to vote for a Democrat if Trump isn’t the nominee: Trying to create gridlock in Washington. A Congress controlled by the GOP will work with Rubio and then you get “free trade” (more US jobs destroyed and lower wages) and amnesty (illegals will take even more jobs and wages will go down, too).
But please don’t tell me that Hillary Clinton “appears trustworthy, electable,” and has a “strong history of leadership.” She is a disaster; a corrupt, criminal, lying, hypocritical, weak, rape-denying monster that is a grave threat to national security (the e-mail debacle, Benghazi) and to peace (Libya). Clinton’s campaign is funded by Goldman and Citi, who also fund Cruz’s campaign etc. They are essentially the same kind of people – Wall Street shills who say nice stuff to get elected but will turn you into a poor slave.
Sanders is honest (I assume), but he would need a single month to turn the US into Greece.

Except that the GOP establishment and the democrat party are fighting for the SAME THING: open borders, amnesty, and trade agreements that are favorable to globalists.
With that in mind, they put up a dozen and a half candidates who are perfectly malleable, and yet almost totally unelectable. The GOPe would be very happy with a Hillary presidency: they keep their ‘perks’, and the globalist agenda goes on uninterrupted. If one of their guys happens to succeed–they would be surprised by that, but in total control of that candidate at all times, so the globalist agenda would go on uninterrupted in that case too.
ONLY Donald J. Trump stands in the way of the globalists. Period. That is why they are using every GOP candidate as a tool to ‘get’ Trump.
BUT! They can’t ‘get’ Trump unless they ‘get’ US, you and me. And sadly, here is the weakness. With only ONE minor skirmish under our belts (Iowa), too many are already questioning their candidate. “Trump must do this; Trump had better say that–seemingly thousands of ‘expert political consultants’ coming out of the woodwork, all carrying the ‘magic bullet’ that Mr. Trump somehow missed. (And all the while, Trump continues to hold a commanding lead in all the polls.)
To me, WE are Trump’s ‘militia’. He can’t win without US, but (speaking as an experienced combat arms soldier) it’s apparent to me that WE also represent the weakest link in the chain. If WE sway, Trump will lose his foundation, and then HE will sway.
I’ve said it before; I’ll say it again here: WE must remain resolute; absolutely firm in our support for our candidate. The battle is just now being joined in earnest, and already too many–some expressing opinions on this very website–are seemingly ready to break ranks and run. For Trump to win, the “militia” MUST remain firm. If we break ranks and give way, Trump will have no support, and will lose.
I recommend everyone watch Mel Gibson’s ‘The Patriot’; especially climactic final battle scene, where Colonel Benjamin Martin suggests massing the militia in the center of the colonists’ lines. “But they’ll run,” says an officer, convinced that the militia WON’T be reliable. Let’s not be THAT militia. Let’s be the militia that will NOT run at the first sound of the guns.
“Steady on, fellow warriors.” I can’t put it more plainly than that.

It’s difficult to stay the course when being pelted by news sources, like FOX and talk radio that you once trusted. We need to encourage each other. To keep the faith.
The Establishment still “trusts” that we’ll hold our nose and vote Rubio or Bush because Hillary is worse. I just wrote the RNC to tell them NOT THIS TIME. I’ll vote Democratic or write in Trump’s name.
Others need to do the same.
Trump “lost” Iowa but so did Reagan. We need to remember that.
That said, are we sure he did lose Iowa? Cruz used dirty tricks. What if they hadn’t? Would Carson’s numbers have been higher? Would Trump have known? I personally would like to see another poll of Iowa. Who does Iowa want now? Rubio? Cruz? Trump?
The Rubio “surge” is being played up by the Establishment mouthpieces. Remember the Carson “surge”? The Fiorina “surge”? The Cruz “surge”. Everyone has “surged” but Trump.
The WSJ has continued its unrelenting attacks on Trump. In response, spouse and I are now considering discontinuing the paper which we have subscribed to for over 20 years.
He called marketing yesterday and had a long conversation with marketing about our disappointment with the WSJ. These Globalists need to know that while we can’t do much about them, we can fight back with whatever weapons we had. Just like the militia did when it took on the most powerful empire in the world at that time (Britain).
We’ve turned off FOX News and are looking for a reliable news source. If we can’t find one, we’ll use the web for news and information. “They” can beat us.
My only consternation is the friends I have whom I thought were intelligent people but who have been taken in by yet another callow, minority, youth with no experience doing anything but running for and being elected to office, a young man in a hurry to make a fortune out of politics. No Rubio. Not now, not ever.

Then get the soon to be released “Jeb! And the Bush Crime Family”
Read Ann Coulter “Adios America”
You will discover that there is no one better on the Democrat side than on the Republican side. They are Uniparty.

Clinton professed his admiration for Carroll Quigley, author of ‘Tragedy and Hope’ (1966) at his his acceptance speech at the Democratic convention. Quigley was Clinton’s professor at Georgetown Univ. Quigley researched the role of the Rhodes-Milner Round Table Groups (CRF for example) in Britain from 1891 through World War II. ‘Tragedy and Hope’, contains references to his twenty years of research so it is worth paying attention to what Quigley said.
QUOTEThe chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.” — Tragedy and Hope,

The master planners devised the strategy of a merger – a Great Merger – among nations.
But before such a merger can be consummated, and the United States becomes just another province in a New World Order, there must at least be the semblance of parity among the senior partners in the deal. How does one make the nations of the world more nearly equal? The Insiders determined that a two-prong approach was needed; use American money and know-how to build up your competitors, while at the same time use every devious strategy you can devise to weaken and impoverish this country. The goal is not to bankrupt the United States. Rather, it is to reduce our productive might, and therefore our standard of living, to the meager subsistence level of the socialized nations of the world.
The plan is not to bring the standard of living in less developed countries up to our level, but to bring ours down to meet theirs coming up… It is your standard of living which must be sacrificed on the altar of the New World Order.”

Everyone should also take a look at The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Synopsis FROM THE US GOVERNMENT keeping in mind that the really nasty surprises are most likely still hidden.
For the Democrat/socialists TPP is all about turning over control of the government to the International Corporations. It is a wipe-out move that destroys national sovereignty and any hope of democratic rule.
The Groniad says this about the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement:
QUOTE
Leading arbitration lawyer, George Kahale (chairman of Curtis, Mallet-Provost, Colt & Mosie LLP, an international law firm) says there are critical loopholes in the Trans-Pacific Partnership’s investment chapter that leave Australia wide open:
….an MFN clause is tantamount to a classic wipeout move. It would enable foreign corporations from TPP states to make a claim against Australia based on the ISDS provisions in any other trade deal Australia has signed, no matter which country it was signed with. That means it does not matter how carefully the TPP is drafted: foreign investors can cherrypick another treaty Australia has signed, and sue the Australian government based on the provisions included in that treaty…..”

“Voters’ questions, rather than spurring spontaneity, inspire more caution. Asked Wednesday what he’d do about the millions of illegal immigrants who otherwise haven’t broken any law, Rubio said, “We’ll figure something out.” ”

I would prepare attack ads against Rubio because he is so easy to hit – he’s a traitor who was elected because he masqueraded as a Tea Party Conservative and then supported amnesty.
The question is whether a Rubio surge could help Trump at the moment: If Rubio psuhes Cruz back into 3rd place in NH that will actually help Trump. It would damage Cruz’s momentum; Rubio is going to be his main rival anyway. Attacking Rubio right now could help Cruz, because Rubio still attracts Tea Party voters.
I’d start the attack on Rubio either before SC or Nevada.

On his official Twitter account Wednesday, Trump said: ‘‘Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified.’’ He based his claim of fraud largely on developments that had been known for days and had not stopped him from congratulating Cruz on his victory Monday night. I’m not a frequent poster here- but have been around awhile. With that in mind, I’m going to say that one of the things that sets this place apart from others is that it is a discussion. Not all comments are concern trolls. I shake my head when I visit the Right Scoop because I mean those that post there have a very narrow mind and staunch mantra: “Ted Cruz is the only true conservative. He’s a constitutional conservative!!”. There is not open and honest dialog (for the most part). It is an eye opener to see there the inability to be honest.
Even when trolls show up- we can handle them with the facts. I understand the Mad Russian’s comment because I have been waiting a long time to hear Trump specifically call out Cruz on TPA and H1b visas.
When my neighbors want to ask me about Trump being for single payer healthcare- I tell them that if you look at the 60 minute interview, Trump did not say the government would pay for everybody, but that those who couldn’t afford it would be taken care of. He speaks about private insurance companies, competition, repeal and replace Obamacare. But the other campaigns hear “government paid” and run with it. He has responded to this- but I wish his response were more clear. We have always insured the poor- our policies have subsidized healthcare for the poor long before Obamacare. Unfortunately, Obamacare set the path for government picking the winners.
If we each are out there telling our co-workers and neighbors about all that Trump offers- I think it is reasonable to wish sometimes the message were more clear. You and I trust him with his words- but those not on board yet may need a little clarity. Just my two cents.

Thank you all for treating my post as if it were written by a moron…..
but I don’t need help in understanding what Trump is saying…. I’m talking about watching all the people standing behind him looking at their cellphones, texting and showing the person next to them what they just took a photo of or getting excited because a friend took a photo off the tv set of them standing behind Trump, then text it to them and they get all excited about being seen on tv – meanwhile Trump has spoken for 10-minutes and not once have they looked up at him….. those are the types of people i want to see him connect with…. …. I’m so happy that all the repliers understand what Trump talks about…. but it’s not you i’m worried about…. i’m worried about those who might have come out to see a celebrity and are not paying attention…. as Michael Savage quotes an ancient philosopher – and I will now paraphrase: The average Roman doesn’t care about what’s happening in Rome… he cares about the pebble in his shoe…. so no, I’m not trying to “plant doubts” for Godsakes, I’m assuming Trump people read these comments after a speech and hope to get across to them a message about the pebble in the American shoe…. not the billions and trillions of dollars offshore that they might not be able to connect to their lives….. Connect it for them!

I like what Trump says, but that’s all it is. Just talk. He sounds great. Just what we need. But it’s all campaign talk. I don’t believe a word of it. He is intelligent and knows people. Esp the masses. CTH used to be the smartest group of true conservatives I knew. But now this page is all Trump thumpers. How can you guys start the day with the Lords Prayer and push for a candidate that truly believes in abortions in the 9th month? Christian? Nope. Trump is a progressive who witnessed what Obama did in 2007. Obama lied through his teeth and then attacked America and got away with it. Trump will commit more crimes against the Constitution than Obama when “elected”. Even the so called “war against Trump” is an illusion. Just another control measure like Gowdy never putting not one elite nor elite pawn in an orange suit after all these long years. Or how Fox convinces patriots to stay in their recliners because they are handling it. All just control measures and all the while the enemies of freedom coil tighter. My brothers and sisters on this page have fallen asleep in their desperation. Trump disciples act just like Obama supporters of ’07 in every way. no, we have a not fallen asleep. Trump does not believe in 3rd trimester abortion. Read his policy stance.
I firmly believe Trump will DO what he says he will do. I believe his ego is way to big to be remembered for failing to build the wall. And he is toward the end of his career (due to age not waning ability) so this will be his cap stone. This is him making his historical mark.
He will DO and ACT on his promises. I have no reason to believe Cruz or Rubio will control illegal immigration or the border for the simple fact that they have not done so yet and have actively worked to embrace illegal immigration.
This isn’t a Sunday School teacher election. Cruz doesn’t even tithe! If he talks the talk why doesn’t he walk it out in his own life? OK with me if someone does not tithe in general but I expect charity to be a part of everyone’s life and if they are selling themselves as a dedicated Christian conservative then not tithing is a tell tale sign we are being sold a bill of goods – Cruz is a typical politician and Christianity is his sales gimmick.
No reason to believe he or Rubio will follow through.
I believe Trump will follow through.

I think most here would understand your concerns more if Trump didn’t openly post his policies at his website or write books about the direction he wants to take America. I do understand your concern about getting his message across to those who only see him at the rallies for the celebrity status or those who have an attention deficit, but, for you, read Trumps policies on his website and/or read one of his books, this information will help you tell others Trump’s plans.

He does, you just have missed it. He talks about the rising cost of Health Care with ObamaCare. How premiums are sky high and deductables are so high you almost have to die to use them. He talks about the 2nd amendment how people should be able to protect themselves if they want.
He talks about bring jobs back to the USA. He could mention how people brought in on H1B visas are being trained by the people they are replacing. That would have been another good answer to the Bernie supporter who claims that illegals are doing jobs that US citizens wont do.

Well, you can say I’m being suckered or losing faith, but in my opinion Mad Russian does have a point. Remember, Identity persuades best. If Trump can say “BECAUSE China is ripping us off, that means YOU lose jobs and get crummy products” it is something people can identify with. It becomes more personal. If I were a normal non-political person who just heard “China is ripping us off in trade,” I’d think yawn, I don’t trade with China, why should I care? As long as it’s someone else’s ox getting gored it isn’t their problem. I think this is why people say “but he hasn’t been specific.” He has, but they don’t see how it relates to them. They want to know that repealing Obamacare will make insurance affordable for THEM–that’s how Obama sold it, remember, “YOUR insurance payment will go down,” and when speaking he used specific numbers about everything to sell the need as well as the solution. Same with all the position papers. By making the problems and positions more personal, sooner or later everyone will be touched by one of those points and they will pay attention because they understand they are involved.

I get what you’re saying, but I think Trump does hit how the “deals” affect Americans, at the car payment and milk level, with his “bringing back jobs” mantra. So many money worries revolve around the lack of decently paid jobs and job security. FWIW, I haven’t noticed any of the other candidates getting incredibly specific on their “how to’s” at this stage, with the exception of Bernie, who has already let us know that our taxes will rise.

I know what you mean. He does say it sometimes, like today how he said “you guys understand because this is what happened to you here” about companies leaving the US, and how bringing jobs and wealth back to the US is how we save social security etc. But even though many people can extrapolate on what he says and understand what he means and what he will do, it’s easy to worry that other people won’t get it, which would be a huge shame.

When Donald talks about what and how we will fight ISIS, he knows how the Russians and Putin are doing it.
This video is Russian. It firmly expresses the proper response, the correct legal approach, the definitive military use of power, and the patriotic rallying that Trump evokes.
We can be working with Russia against Terrorism. We should be.
Look, read the subtitles in English, and experience what the US should have as a leader (and will when we vote in Trump).
We could be doing this and should have long ago. This is the US we want.
The Russian history never leaves their consciousness. WWII is yesterday, not 70 years ago.
They know precisely how to treat existential threats (fascism, Nazism, terrorism, ISIS, Turkey’s madman Erdogan).
It’s long, 9 minutes, but you will understand why General Flynn and Putin talked recently, why Flynn coaches Trump, why Trump understands strength, and why the US has had stupid and dangerously weak leadership.
These were our allies in WWII. Russians are very much like heartland Americans. They love God, family and country. They are unafraid of any threat. Don’t Tread On Me could easily be a Russian motto.

I find myself wondering if perhaps Putin is in desperate need of an ally to help him stem the tide of the Third World invasion of the civilized and prosperous first world and sees Trump as that ally. Russia has as much to lose to the Islamic plague as Russia. Bad as the Cold War was, at least both sides were rational. Iran is not rational. Islam is not rational.

Uh, yea. Most other sites would be looking to get it out BEFORE if not the debate then most certainly the primary.
Given the mercer connection I can’t see how they’ll even publish. It took BB nearly THREE DAYS to go with the voter violation story, and only and went with it after it hit the NYT. Of course along with the story was corruptTED Ted’s “everyone does it excuse.”
SMH so what was Ben’s news conference? Seemed like it was a none event. As over said previously Carson was the perfect target bc he doesn’t fight back.
If he was elected every world leader would chew him up & spit him out.

If they don’t publish it, Allum should try to leak it to Trump or to any news site/paper that is anti-Cruz or anti-GOP.
And you are right, the problem with Carson is that he is too passive and to nice. That’s why the people who say that Trump should be silent about the fraud and let Carson do the job are wrong. However, Carson and Trump should meet to prepare a coordinated attack on Cruz for the debate.

Apparently “that bombshell” by Breitbart’s Allum Bokhari, will come out in a few days. Milo had tweeted about Bokhari’s story earlier this week. Here is Bokhari’s tweet today saying it will be out in a few days.
Rumors on other sites are saying it is being timed to the NH primary weekend to have greater affect. Although in the past, Breitbart tended to be more of a Cruz cheerleader, they seem to be moving away from that, including today’s article with the voice mails.

It’s possible that they were told by their owners to bash Cruz because those guys have decided to back Rubio, and Cruz is merely in the race as a vote splitter anyway. Rush is already telling people that Rubio is a great conservative. They will drop Cruz once they believe that Rubio will win.
However, a big story has to be published several days prior to an election to have an effect, because it takes some time until the media start to discuss it and a large number of people have learned about it. That’s why I suspect that it’s delayed to reduce the impact.

I also like the one where Ted Cruz rhetorically asks where Trump was when the amnesty so called battle was going on in Congress – that he was nowhere to be found.
But of course Ted Cruz omits the part that Trump was NOT in Congress and had no vote.

The partial birth abortion comment was made around 15 years ago and even then he was uncomfortable with it, that is if you listen to the WHOLE quote. He has said repeatedly that he’s changed his position, which is what most pro-life people pray for, yet you don’t try and find out his current position… you just parrot something you’ve read.
Many people here who are Trump supporters have problems with some things he has said, but on immigration, borders, health care and jobs he is everything I want in a President.
Trump doesn’t want to do a bad job, he’d be castigated by the left and the right. He wants to save America and there is certainly ego involved.
