He is, he has totally lost it. Remember he has everything invested in Cruz, if Cruz goes down, then he goes down with him, literally.

Beck is a mental case, seriously there is something genuinely wrong with this guy, no normal person says stuff like that.

This guy is a Christian ? Give me a break.

He is a Mormon – that’s a distortion of Christianity. Some strange beliefs and traditions.
        Somewhat cult-like.

For those who wish to ascribe to Mormonism for the 21st Century.

        • faridrushdi says:

You say it’s a distortion of Christianity. Why put your personal belief out there as fact? You may not like the LDS beliefs but find me a better sub-set of Americans. Cult-like? Well, this cult has it’s own grocery stores that all members can use if they are hurting financially. A 10% tithe is a minimum requirement, and that money goes in part to fund those stores and their version of Goodwill Industries where members in need can get clothes and home needs for free. a majority of American 18-year-olds go on a 2-year church mission. There may be “funny underwear” involved, but that doesn’t make them good people.

I spent the first 10 years of my life as a Muslim, and no one made fun of me.
I spent the next 15 years of my life as an atheist, and no one made fun of me.
I have spent the last 30 years of my life as a Mormon, and I can’t go on a conservative website that’s talking about Beck or Romney without somebody mocking my faith.

Beck is creepy because he is creepy, not because he is a Mormon.
Romney wasn’t particularly embraced by Mormons here in Utah and Idaho (where I live) because he was once pro-choice and was a very squishy Republican.

I just wonder how many people of faith stayed home and didn’t vote for Romney in 2012 because of their distaste for a good man because he was a Mormon.

You have a very valid point faradrushdi, it is unfair and bigoted like to rant like this against Mormons. I am not of the faith, however have yet to meet one who has not been kind and willing to help just about anyone without expecting anything in return. There are several in our community who go to social gatherings in which there is alcohol and tobacco being consumed by others. Never have we witnessed any of them turning their nose up at those who partake, unlike some of other faiths. They do not gossip, unlike some of other or no faiths. They seem to be fun loving people who have a good sense of humor and look out for everyone, regardless.

        • In all fairness to Mormons, Beck is NOT a real Mormon. From what I hear from Mormons he is a convert and based upon his drug and alcohol use not so Mormon either. I’ve known many wonderful Mormon people through the years and none of them act or behave like Beck.

I don’t think you’d see a Mormon up on a stage joining in prayer with the born-agains like he did at that carnie revival in Iowa last Saturday. I just about expected him to reach into a crate full of snakes and start snake-handling!

He’s some kind of hybrid mix of Mormonism and Evangelical Histrionic entertainer and clown. I really don’t see how we can label him “a Mormon.” At least not a traditional Mormon. But the only Mormons I’ve ever met ARE traditional Mormons. They’re traditional people.

I’m pretty sure Mormons are not “feeling the beck.”

You are 100% right about Beck. I interviewed him for my paper here in Idaho when he came on a book-signing tour a few years back. He told me that while sobering up he decided he needed to find God. He did that through research. He had binders full of information about all the different churches, and that at a point, he scientifically chose the Mormon Faith.

When I found God, (the truth is he found me), everything was true and righteous because I feel it to me. No science or research involved. I don’t think you can prove one church is the “true church” that way.

When I watched the Ted Cruz rally with Glen Beck and saw Beck take over the whole rally, spend more time talking then Cruz and finally administering the oath of office to Cruz. I couldn’t help but wonder who is going to be president here, Cruz or Beck?

The way Beck seemed to own Cruz I wondered if Beck would think he should be at the White House every day telling Cruz what to do? Probably not, but for a instant I saw what Donald Trump means when he says about donors: ‘they own you”

        • I spent a lot of time in Hollyweird in my younger years, artists, writers, stage, comics, bands, radio, acting. I’ve seen it all. Beck is a clown, entertainer, a performance artist of sorts. Where anything goes.

The problem with Beck is he took his creativity and screw-loose-ivity and put it into politics. That would be fine on a stage at the Improv or a comedy show. But Glenn just sort of morphed it into a serious talk show and no one seemed to notice he was basically a clown, even though he flat out told them — and us the viewers — that he was “just a rodeo clown.” He used to say this all the time at the beginning of his television career.

Now he’s manifesting his “creativity” on a very serious stage: a PRESIDENTIAL RACE. This is a DISASTER. And Ted Cruz lacked the good judgement and discernment to see it for what it is and for what Beck is. Blind ambition, ego and pride can do that to a person.

Beck is a carnival. That’s okay in creative circles and entertainment. BUT GAWD NO FOR POLITICS and he should not be anywhere near any presidential campaign.

Going to give CRUZ the benefit of the doubt on this. He had no choice. His big money man Robert Mercer has about 11 Million into CRUZ through a Super PAC ( Sundance did a complete article on this not Long ago) Keep the Promise. A guy that MERCER appointed to manage the SUPER PAC has ties to BECK and that is the connection. I think CRUZ knows BECK is a nut job BUT has no choice. If anyone now knows how the DONORS control a candidate I believe CRUZ does now. Still think CRUZ is ok and will end up a TRUMP / CRUZ ticket. All of this of course results on a judge declaratory judgement that he can run for the POTUS. Let’s see what happens after TRUMP WINS IOWA and the dust settles some.

These media gurus can’t distinguish between immigrant and illegal immigrant. Brooks fancies himself sympathetic to the illegals. The truth is that he and the rest of the Acela corridor intelligentsia just don’t give a shlt about Americans who have to compete with illegals or foreign workers for jobs. They’re not more discerning than Trump supporters, they’re just more safely removed from the effects of illegal immigration and globalism.

I remember when the monster Hussein was running and it seemed every rotten and currupt political group, crony business organization, and treacherous foreign government were going nuts falling all over themselves to kiss his ass. Even RINO Republicans were blowing smooches his way. What really sucked was the way the black community got on their knees for the SOB just because he was black. I saw a lot of black people crying and moaning because their messiah had finally come. Throughout that whole crazy time I felt like the loneliest person in the entire world because I despised Hussein and every jerk in a world full of idiots that were screaming for joy when I felt nothing but sadness and foreboding. Now I feel like it’s my time to have a smidgen of hope because Trump came on the political scene and blew the whole rotten mess wide open. I have been moved watching him in ways I haven’t experienced politically my entire long life. Not even under Reagan. I guess it’s because Trump is like a drink of cool water to a long thirsty man. TRUMP 2016!

    Donald, please talk about polls!

Should Donald win by a larger margin, say it’s33-19 or something like that, the DMR will point to the poll as accurately reflecting the trend towards Trump gaining ground from their last poll and the final numbers as simply the natural continuation of that trend. Hindcasting, it’s called.

In the meantime, they get to make it sound like it’s a much closer race than (I believe) it actually is.

If I lived in IOWA I would be livid. According to all the MSM the people can not figure out how to go to a meeting in the evening and fill out a slip of paper. Good grief are they all disabled? All you have to do is drive to an address by 7 o’clock, go in, fill out a slip of paper with a name, and go home. Amazing. Are people so stupid they need someone to hold their hand through the process? ahhhh dunno. If they want to vote they are smart enough to drive over and vote ……I hope.

The dems process is lengthier (more bullsh*t to dish out), but the repubs is fairly quick. Bet it’s faster than standing in lines in many places with lot of items on a ballot.

The press are idiots repeating nonsense all the time.

    • LaVonne says:

Thank goodness Trump is exposing all the lies about what a caucus is. I think the establishment tries to scare voters that it is an arduous process and you have to be there for 3 hours. They do this to scare independents and disaffected democrats to vote their conscious. The Trump campaign has an extremely well oiled machine and show exactly what the process is. I would rather have people calling my campaign to learn how to caucus than the tired old way of begging for caucus participants. This shows enthusiasm. I like what Trump is doing a stealth campaign. Like he says you do not go blabbing your mouth. It also shows that he definitely not let our enemies know what we are doing, unlike our POTUS who blabs everything.

I thought it was great that Palin endorsed Trump,
however, also thought that her introductory speech,
if you will, was way too long, seemingly putting her

brighter than Trump! Perhaps Trump wants to keep
