Andrew Breitbart Discusses Glenn Beck’s Similar Lies Against Newt Gingrich During 2012 Election…

Proving the old axiom “history repeats itself”, here’s an old video from the 2011/2012 Presidential Campaign Season.

Against the current years’ events (some visible today) of Glenn Beck attacking candidate Donald Trump, it’s interesting to hear Andrew Breitbart describing Beck doing the same thing against candidate Newt Gingrich in 2011.

Creepy is as creep does. Both Beck and Cruz are fringe characters. I wouldn’t trust either of them as far as I could throw an elephant. The more I see of Beck the more I think he’s really flipped.

Glenn Beck was funny before his conversion to Mormonism. I have nothing against Mormons, I had next door neighbors for 10 years who were Mormon and were wonderful people. Beck however, sees himself as some sort of Prophet who has recovered from addiction and is a messenger from God to spread his (Beck) crazy message. It began with the apocalypse is coming, to the gold selling and then the prepper kits.

Then he went off the deep end, crying about his hemorrhoids on the radio to a national audience, to joining Ted Cruz to bring teddy bears and candy to the illegal hordes at the border during the summer of 2014. Glenn Beck has a messiah complex and is becoming more unhinged by the day. My question to Treepers is does Trump have a case to sue Beck for libel? As SD pointed out the tweet is fake, even the liberal BBC proved the tweet was fake.

No wonder Fox News fired Glenn Beck. He truly thinks he is smarter than everyone. Kinda reminds me of Obama. LOL ! He has definitely solidified my support for Mr. Donald Trump. I suspect that Glenn Beck now realizes that Trump will lift “ALL” Americans, and render his program useless. Glenn Beck depends on divisions and would be a nobody if all Americans prosper. Shame on Glenn Beck and his ilk.
Entrepreneur for Donald Trump !! God Bless America !
P.S. I still like Ted Cruz.

Seen this before. Thanks for posting it for everyone. A special thank you for articles on Beck. I’ve been railing against him for years, but the problem with linking articles in the past is that they’re mostlyl from left-wing rags. I’ve waited so, so long for conservatives to fully expose this fraud. I ran into problems with my own Facebook account this summer when I was trolling Beck’s endlessly for weeks. I’d posted this video on his page more than once.
I feel so sorry for the gullible who send this snake oil salesman money and buy his products. They need to be led away from this false prophet.

Glen Beck was off my radar after 2012 and back on when he started railing against Trump in 2015. All I knew about Beck, is that he was fired from Fox, started Blaze and hates Trump. Over the past few months because of this site, my eyes have been opened to the fact that Glen Beck is loony. But now, I realize he’s a dangerous nutcase who sounds like one of the Iranian Mullahs in his STRIDENT defense of Ted Cruz. Its scary. Keep up the work!!! Trump 2016!!

Great comment and description. Like you, I saw Beck on TV for a while before he was fired by Faux. And my local radio station picked up his gab show but every time I tried to listen (only when driving) he and that idiot partner sounds like they belong in an asylum. He is definitely loony, as you state. Now I would agree he’s a “dangerous nutcase,” as is Cruz.

Sometimes I get the sense that Trump’s campaign is being run just the way Andrew Breitbart would if he were the campaign manager. I am awed at the sheer courage of some of the things Trump says- the same way I was when Andrew took over Weiner’s press conference microphones when Weiner was running late. Or the way he guided the take down of ACORN with the timing of those video releases. The spirit of Breitbart is indeed still here, displayed most spectacularly in Donald Trump.

    • “Mike Huckabee Backs Donald Trump’s Values, Points to Other Candidates’ Flip Flops”
By Alex Swoyer 16 Jan 2016 – Breitbart

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina — GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is defending GOP frontrunner Donald Trump against Sen. Ted Cruz criticism.

The Cruz campaign is pointing to Trump’s interview with Tim Russert from 1999, in which, according to the Cruz campaign, “Donald Trump asserts that New York ‘views’ and ‘attitudes’ are different than other places in the country, such as Iowa.”

Huckabee was asked if he thinks Trump is now sincere in what he says. “I have no reason to doubt him. He’s pretty outspoken, you got to give him credit for that.”

Huckabee went on to criticize Cruz, although not by name.

If you want to talk about a candidate whose switched positions you got a bunch of them out there who changed themselves on Trans Pacific Partnership, on ethanol and on foreign policy and all over the board. So you know, Donald Trump’s positions if they changed, they changed over 15 years not the last 15 minutes.

Imho, I know Andrew had made some comments before about Trump, but I think he would have come around on Trump. I think he would have done what has been done here, he would’ve watched, questioned, and definitely been skeptical but once he saw Trump crossing different barriers, looking back at the plethora of interviews and comments Trump has made, seen how he has destroyed the media facade, and most importantly realized the awful place Obama has put the country in. He would have come around to the fact that with Trumps money and the idiots running on both sides, the huge influence of the CoC, and the growing threat of immigration & terrorism, Trump would be the last chance to bring the country back from the brink of its globalist path. I also think he would be proud of the work SD and all those here have done and accomplished.

I just posted on the other thread. i don’t think this happened to Beck.

He was always the conservative “Minder” tasked with keeping the TP under control and ultimately defeated, infiltrated, etc.. I think he jumped the shark because he failed in his mission to be the Pied Piper to ultimately lead conservatives right back to a Uniparty candidate, in this case, Cruz since they knew Jeb Bush would never be acceptable. Cruz is unquestionably a Bush plant, plain and simple.

It’s also called that was 2011 and Breitbart is dead. His position might have changed given the current circumstances. Trump is a fighter. Breitbart was a fighter. Both have given the media what it had coming to them. Neither took much crap. I think Breitbart would have liked the fighter in Trump. The other people in the race, on the republican side, are a bunch of losers. Not fighters. A bunch of beta males. I think Breitbart might not have liked who Ted and his father palled. I think Breitbart might have recognized the rest of the field sucked and not supported any of them against Trump. Then again maybe he wouldn’t have. But what Breitbart thought wouldn’t have changed how I intend to vote. I am sick and tired of career politicians. I intend to vote accordingly this time around. But regardless, Beck is still a snake and anyone that associates with him shouldn’t be trusted.

      • But Breitbart’s position on Beck might have changed in 4 years, too. That’s just pure speculation.

The last/only opinion we had from Breitbart vis a vis Trump was opposition, not support. That’s historical fact, not speculation.

There are two keys to Trumps success one is if you heed what your mom has always told you and you don’t lie then you don’t have to have a good memory. In Trumps case over the years, he has given his honest feelings and Answers on issues, life, and success, so then for the most part he doesn’t have to worry about someone finding something on him. Can they make it up (Beck) yes, but easier to debunk. The second is simple and easy. SD has already expounded on it and that is owning the down side of an issue and argument it puts you all in on one side against everyone else but with his persona and media presence gives him the chance to have people hear him out, persuade people he is right or that his positions are not so bad. Thus making those on the opposite side look wrong, disingenuous, petty, or in case of libs using political correctness as an agenda

We managed to get opposition to polices like regionalism in our county defeated because people watched the shows or heard them. We managed to show a clip of Beck to our local commissioners who were going to sign on to the regional policy Seven 50 which all came from Un Agenda 21 sustainable development We defeated it with evidence on how it was going to take local control away. I have to agree with Cynthia. While its been obvious for a number of years that Beck has gone completely off the rails, he did do a LOT before and during the time he was on Fox to expose the Progressive agenda. Even the nature of the GOPe critters. His show on Fox was both educational and entertaining. (Remember his red phone?) I still believe he was getting too close to the truth we now understand about the Uniparty to be allowed to keep the national audience he had at the time. At some point, Beck fell into the deep, black hole of Dominionist theology and everything he has said and done since then has been to serve that master. Thus he became the total loon lefties accused him of being when he was guilty merely of telling the vicious truth about them.

So when will they come together if ever for we have a huge fight with the left and GOP Globalist. Where was Rush, Mark, Hannity, and others on this Global Plan? This just didn’t happen with Obama. It seems to that the these talkers were dragged in and had to talk about the issues that the Tea,912,Liberty, and others were aware of. We fought long and hard to get these media types to speak about Common Core. Our group would try to get on the radio shows to speak about these issues and were hung up on. What ever happens it is along hard fight ahead with Cruz or Trump at the helm. This will take an Army for everything has been implemented into the local and state governments. Even to the casual observer there can be no doubt that there is a concerted effort to undermine and sabotage any genuine American patriot. The MSM media, leftists online, PACS, special interests, RINO’s, socialists, commies, race baiters, leftist liberals, illegals, Obama, hollywood, even supposed conservative jewish pacs etc all align to take out any candidate who stands for American national patriotism and the majority of the American people and voters. If the majority of christian and patriotic americans don’t stand united and do something now the theft of american by secular anti american and leftists will be completed. Donald Trump stands for American patriotism and the americans that built this great nation. For national borders and the preservation of the american western christian way of life. Obama is 100 percent panicked and attacking Trump with all he has. The GOP estaishment is attacking with all they have. One thing is for sure the will of the American people is the enemy to the leftist liberal forces and the celebrity moron cult is in full swing to support anti american groups.
Something’s changed though, the silent majority is shuddering awake and they are angry at the blatant betrayal of their generosity and the destruction of all they hold dear. And they really should be. Leftistism is a worse Trojan horse than Islam.
I only hope and pray that patriotic americans (not imported anti americans) can realise the threat to their freedom before its too late. Donald Trump has peoples trust. People know he is different not perfect but sincere and angry. The concerted secular attack on christians in american is astounding. They are attacking christian american on every side. Christian American is the most powerful weapon against the destruction of American western values. My prayers and money are on Donald Trump and the real American patriots and people.

Beck did do some good things: a) exposing Islam to the masses for the first time (for those who didn’t know of Pam Geller and Robert Spencer’s work) and b) bringing Agenda 21 to light.

But, down deep, always remember, he is entrenched in the cult of Mormonism and an alcoholic. Mormons are, deep down, greedy and cutthroat people (I always wished I had a Mormon attorney when I was going through my divorce… heh). They also are not deep thinkers. If they were they wouldn’t be taken in by a deceptive cult built on lies and fabrications.

Those two things make him susceptible to all sorts of flights of fancy. They ultimately detracted from his worthwhile messages.

To be fair to Beck, as others have said, think we ought to give him credit for what he did when he first became popular at Fox. It was the first time so many became educated about the subversive people in DC and their agendas, American history – enough to shake us up and get upset enough to join the Tea Party movement and do more research, get involved with politics.

But then something seemed to happen after he left Fox and went downhill. Yes, Mormonism is another very weird religion that may have been a factor. Also, his mother was mentally ill and had committed suicide many years ago. Some say you can inherit these things. To me, he seems very unstable to say the least – emotionally, spiritually and mentally. He always seems to be on some brink of a total breakdown. His two buddies on his radio program drive me crazy too so I stopped listening altogether.
Used to blog at the Blaze at the very beginning but left there a long time ago as well. My sense is the “consensus” is similar to mine and I don’t worry about him being any kind of effective enemy of Trump. In fact, probably now work to help him.
