The local station showed the crowd, and the auditorium was not quite full, not surprising as all the local press I read was negative. So Charlotte, show Macon how it’s done!

Folks were still coming in while President Trump was speaking. It was full, take my word for it. There were a few seats left in the two far corners but if you count the 100+ that were standing in the center, there was at least 10,000 in attendance. All the local channels are liberal. Even the local DA (d) was on one of the channels at lunchtime criticizing Mr. Trump for a remark he made about “protestor should have been hurt” comment in an earlier rally and asking for calm.

He knows that if he pulled out of the Debate, no one will watch it anyway. However, what I’m sure he’s contemplating is the backlash that could occur if he did not show up. Then, they’d really paint him as a narcissist. I don’t think he has any intention of not showing, but he sure is enjoying his taunt of the media. It’s also a preemptive warning to CNN about how they handle the debate questions. He’s always thinking ahead.

Well you have to remember that he is speaking in different states, and some areas require a different approach, and he will also put things in the speeches tailored for specific crowds, so I would not read too much into that. For example, in some places you can be as bombastic as heck, but others, require less bombast!

I watched it. I thought it was well done. They presented pretty fairly. Everything we all know about Trump before this time, was presented. No secrets. They covered his successes and his failures, i.e. the bankruptcies. They covered his wives, his children, his companies, etc. I expect they will air it again sometime. It was worth the watch. I live outside Raleigh, and would LOVE to attend the rally he is having here on Friday. Not sure I can get off work, though. I am currently having to rely on a cane, so it is difficult to hike all the way into the arena and then deal with the climb into the seats. Buuuuuut, I may suck it up and do it!

THE MEDIA IS USING THOSE PATHETIC LITTLE POLLS OF 200, 468, 1,095 “PEOPLE”. We could probably run a poll on this site & get 200 – 1,095 responses. They act like those little polls actually mean something.

When we go to the Primary & vote, then the media (all of them) will see where the voters’ hearts really lie… in supporting the man who wants “To Make America Great Again”!

Half the time they don’t even indicate if they are registered voters. Some of the polls are Republicans & Democrats. Talk about manipulating the numbers… whew, some of these pollsters are getting creative.

      • oldtoenail says:

I believe their polls are real. They are easy to run too. They call up 1000 people. Then throw out the ones they don’t like. That gets the 1000 down to about 200. Now that is a real poll of real people, mostly.

That’s a major statement Trump made telling the MSM that perhaps you should skip the next CNN sponsored debate unless they pay Trump $5M that he would donate to our Vets and Wounded Warriors.

Since its been CNN lies of late, Trump has had about enough from them. He wrote a letter to CNN the last time and there was no response from CNN about donating to Charity. I wonder if there will be any mention of Trump’s treat and challenge to CNN.

He’s really fckn with them now. They want to charge $250,000 for 30 secs. They can’t sell that advertising if the companies don’t know that Trump will be in the debate drawing the crowd. It will be interesting to see how CNN responds. Crickets???

The only space left in the Coliseum was in the rafters.I was very lucky. Got there 4 hours early and was front and center to see our NEXT PRESIDENT ! He’s just like us and he talks to us…no “put on” like all the others. No pic but got two autographs and was able to speak with him. He does know about CTH and said “they’re good people” and is aware of the postcard campaign. I’m still soooo excited, I’m afraid my words are all jumbled and not correct sentences. Those make great postcards too as keepsakes! For every rally Trump gave. He works so hard and he says it’s easy because it means a lot to America! You can tell he’s energized too because he’s authentic. The other candidates are low energy and sickly because they are hiding and trying to escape truth detection about themselves and their hedge fund sponsors for borderless global financing . It zaps them of energy.

Macon used to be around 300,000…IIRC. A lot of people (including me) have moved away because of the dims taking over the mayor and city council, also higher crime rate. It is still a nice city, many beautiful historic sites and antebellum homes with a very rich history and home to many musical talents. Good crowd for the area.

Macon is a midsized city in the middle of the state. We call it the gnat line…everything above Macon is more metropolitan and below is more rural and agricultural. I live below the gnat line. Once you leave Atlanta and head north, you again enter a rural area of the state. IOW, from Macon north to Atlanta is citified and heavily democrat.
