Olive-Gardenfacebook olive garden(link)  Readers will note this is not the first time that Darden Restuarants has openly exhibited their liberal alignment with Barack and Michelle Obama.

♦ Back in 2011 The Olive Garden threw out an 80-year-old member of the Kiawanis club for daring to bring an American Flag into the restaurant for a meeting they were holding (link) We wrote about it here.

♦ Prior to that The Olive Garden joined forces with Michelle Obama to ban french fries from their kids menu.  Michelle Obama even went on a publicity tour on behalf of her healthy eating initiatives and the Olive Garden specifically (link)  We wrote about it here.

And it really wasn’t a surprise to see the progressive Darden Restaurants took a severe hit when their same store sales decreased and their stock value plummeted.  (Link)

So this latest example of The Olive Garden banning uniformed police officers from dining in their restaurants really doesn’t come as a surprise.

What is surprising is that people continue to eat there and support their progressive ideology and causes.

Darden Restaurants includes Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse.  Perhaps worth thinking about the next time we are selecting a place to eat dinner.
