UPDATE: Today (10/7/15) Via Twitter Jake Tapper responded to questioning. Update at bottom.
Jake Tapper was a good White House correspondent when he was working for ABC news. Something changed when he transferred to CNN, and unfortunately today Tapper was caught lying misleading (?) on Twitter.
It began with a question from Daniel Schavino Jr. asking whether CNN would show the latest PPP poll (released today) showing Trump with a commanding lead:
As you can see Jake Tapper responded by saying “we dont cover their polls, dont meet CNN polling standard”…
Unfortunately, that claim is directly contradicted by this:
Yes, unfortunately for Mr. Tapper, that’s a CNN article using information from the exact polling company Tapper claims doesn’t meet their standards and they never use.
Which begs the question. Does CNN use PPP when it fits their need; and then doesn’t use PPP polls when the data doesn’t support their preferred narrative?
It would appear so.
You decide.
10/07/15 Jake Tapper Response:
“Can’t explain that CNN.com story”
