*Updated* CNN’s Jake Tapper Caught Misleading and Displaying Anti-Trump Bias on Twitter…

update-1UPDATE:  Today (10/7/15) Via Twitter Jake Tapper responded to questioning. Update at bottom.

Jake Tapper was a good White House correspondent when he was working for ABC news.  Something changed when he transferred to CNN, and unfortunately today Tapper was caught lying misleading (?) on Twitter.

It began with a question from Daniel Schavino Jr. asking whether CNN would show the latest PPP poll (released today) showing Trump with a commanding lead:

jake tapper - bias ppp poll 2

As you can see Jake Tapper responded by saying “we dont cover their polls, dont meet CNN polling standard”

Unfortunately, that claim is directly contradicted by this:

jake tapper - bias ppp poll

(Screen grab Link)

Yes, unfortunately for Mr. Tapper, that’s a CNN article using information from the exact polling company Tapper claims doesn’t meet their standards and they never use.

Which begs the question.  Does CNN use PPP when it fits their need; and then doesn’t use PPP polls when the data doesn’t support their preferred narrative?

It would appear so.

You decide.

Reblogged this on Centinel2012 and commented:

Of course they cherry pick how else could they get the questions that they ask? That is why CNN is where it is and others are much higher, for if Fox doesn’t straighten out they will lose there ratings as well as they have turned against Trump as well.

What Trump needs to do now is have a million base ball caps made in a lot of colors that say Make America Great Again. and then give them away every place he goes. You would soon see them everywhere.

I wonder if he meant that his particular show doesn’t use PPP polling. I respect Talper, so I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I have heard people say PPP is liberal, is that the reality?

    • Sharon says:

Well, if that’s the case….then he’s saying that other parts of CNN do use them?…..even though, according to him, they “dont meet CNN polling standard”…??

Yeah, that’s it. Too liberal for CNN.
BTW, he said “CNN standards” – not “Talper standards”.

    • i don’t know if Tapper is liberal or conservative, but i do know a liar when i see one. Obviously CNN uses PPP polls (as Sundance has shown) when it meets their narrative and not use PPP when it doesn’t). So he is lying.
liars are liars and whether they are liberal or conservative means nothing to me. i prefer honesty.

I respect the work he does for Veterans and service members, I would like to think he’s honest and maybe this was an honest mistake on his part.

    • BobNoxious says:

Yes, PPP is a liberal/democrat polling outfit that is notorious for producing extremely sketchy polls. They are rarely, if ever, cited by major news outlets as a legitimate polling source- at least w/out some sort of caveat re: their accuracy and liberal affiliation.

    • Jett Black says:

You need to reevaluate your standards for conferring respect. I’d recommend that you reconsider respecting any news talking head around today. There appear to be less than a half dozen honorable–i.e., respect-worthy–journos on national media today. Sharyl Attkisson may be one (though one still has to question whether she manufactures scandal and intrigue to aggrandize herself–not saying she does, just that the jury’s still out in my mind). There’s the guy who asks the tough questions and keeps asking them at the State Dept. shadow puppet shows, whose name I regretfully can’t think of. Anyone else who consistently investigates, tells the truth, and isn’t carrying water for demonrats or oligarchs.

Just saw a couple of editorial shows with Lisa Boothe and couldn’t say I’d give her professional journalistic respect at this point, sure liked the way she took it to the demonrats and their journo-scum fellow travelers. Fun to watch.

Jake Tapper – what a lying shitlib.

We need to broadcast this specific instance far and wide via Twitter, blogs, etc. The more we expose the media’s biases and deception, the harder it becomes for the GOPE to sell their lies.

I hope eeryone can pace themselves. We have what, 4-5 months before the first caucus, which doesn’t even really count. It shall be quite an exercise in futility and flexibility watching the “media” contort and wet themselves for the next several months. The good thing about ALL of this is that more and more people are getting to see what their “news” people are really all about. I’m gettin’ me a whole bunch o’ popcorn.

    • true…BUT remember, holidays end of November and throughout December will make 2 of those months just fly by. So we really only have the rest of October, some of November, and then restart in January. About 90 days total. The media knows this and that is why they are really trying hard during October. Of course looking back at McCain’s 6% during this time and his sudden surge Dec/Jan means anything could happen. But this election is quite different, there was NO TRUMP that time.
Meanwhile, momentum and spirit are important not only for supporters but for Trump as well.

This tripe isn’t going to stop as long as DT is in the race. Forget the debates, (more like hatchet jobs) and go directly to the people.
It’s at the point where Trump needs to pay for TV time, with the ratings precedent finding any network would be easy. Maybe Destination America where he can have town halls or debates whatever he sees fit, without the operative moderators. Trump can show/answer what he wants without the obvious DNC/GOPe bias, then go out campaigning everywhere.
Going on these truculent anchors shows isn’t going to help him, they have their orders. In this way the networks may lose their leverage.
I cannot stand these media tools and their networks, I would respect them more if they admitted their prejudice and moved on.

    • yeah, look at who the moderators are in these debates, both debates the moderators (megyn kelly 1st debate, now Tapper 2nd debate) end up becoming fierce adversaries of Trump. there should be some type of agreement or requirement for moderators to stay unbiased.
oh well, my faith that God has this one is strong. so far, most of these pundits and liars are being humiliated one by one.

I wish that all Trump supporters who “tweet” would contact his campaign site(s), and strongly recommend that he dump the debates and go the route suggested by FireAm85. I am 100% in support of Trump (I believe that he is our last hope), but a dispassionate look at the “debates” clearly shows that they are harming Trump. Not, perhaps, in the eyes of informed voters, but independents and on-the-fence Democrats are also watching, and they only see the negatives. The media is very, very skillful in portraying him as a dunce and a blowhard. I truly wish Trump would forego the “debates” from now on. After all, would anyone watch those disasters if Trump were not there?

Now you are killing it Sundance! I mean, you always kill it. But this, KILLS it. So sick of the manipulation everywhere I look, nonstop astroturf BS, false narrative lying. It is the subtle false fact inserted by a “good guy” that gains traction. Thank you for exposing Tapper as another decepticon. Trump has a movement and with our help Trump is going to roll all of them. They will be bowing down to the alter. I cannot wait to witness it.

No surprise about Jake Trapper … like a vast majority of the MSM …..

Tapper is a Democrat. Tapper worked as campaign press secretary for Democratic congressional candidate Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky in Pennsylvania in the 1990s and worked briefly for Handgun Control Inc. (now the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence). He married Jennifer Brown in 2006. At the time, she was a regional field manager in Washington for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Speaking of Tapper, he will not be on stage moderating the Dem Debate next week- instead Don Lemon & Anderson Cooper will be hosting. Nobody has said so publicly, but it’s almost guaranteed that the DNC did not want Tapper on stage asking Hillary tough questionns, so they pressured CNN to put him on the sidelines. It’s shameful that they agreed to do so.

  19. Check out what I heard today. California does not care when you vote if you are legal or illegal. There are so many adding to the population that it gives California more delegates than it should in terms of clout. They have more than NH and OH put together. They will vote for Hillary. Does this change the plans. We have a plan to win the nomination and should as long as people stay with TRUMP and keep working to wake people up who aren’t now paying attention – a lot of Americans still trying to work and keep food on the table. I look for January to be quite interesting.

The Federal ‘Motor Voter’ law virtually screams ‘voter abuse’ as it only requires the applicant to swear that said applicant’s a citizen. Now that states are moving to give illegals a DL without proof of legal residence, citizenship, having brushed after every meal, et cetera, there’s this sliiiiight possibility that a few illegals may be registered to vote as they get that DL, food stamps, medicaid – all in one package. I personally don’t see anything wrong happening, nor do I believe the officials in these states might try to pad the RAT voter rolls with persons who are not legal voters – perish the thought.

Do I really gotta put a ‘sarc’ warning on this?

Kalifornia is the corrupt of the corrupt! That the governor goes by the handle “Moonbeam” and is proud of it ought to tell anyone everything they need to know. The formerly “Golden State” is getting badly tarnished.

        • czarowniczy says:

Can’t wait until the Cali demographics swing to move that vote to the more Latin flavor – then watch the outmigration. Business practices, taxes, restrictive and citizen-unfriendly legislation have all moved many to leave but there’s a core that refuses to budge – ala many Jews in Germany even after the Nuremberg Laws were passed. Let’s see who stays after Aztlan reemerges.

Been going on a long time.

We had an influx of Bosnian refugees in metro Atlanta in the last 15-20 years.

I went to renew my driver’s license in Dekalb County, and stood in a long line. Many of the people waiting in line were Bosnians, with their “sponsor” present.
        There were three questions asked:
        1. Are you renewing your license?”
        2. Do you want to be an organ donor.
        3. Are you registering to vote?

When I got to the where the DMV worker was, I asked a 4th question:
If someone's registering to vote, shouldn't you be asking they are an American citizen?"
            "Oh , they'll catch that."
Once the refugees got through the line, they were handed their ID cards
(none were applying for licenses), and a calling card to call back home.
The sponsor that I was watching had a cell phone ( when they were rare). She was all sweetness and light with the refugees, "How great! You've got an ID now!" She sent them ahead , whipped out the phone. The sweetness instantly disappeared. She dropped her facade and literally snarled into the phone
          "Send me some more!"
I was convinced that I was watching voter fraud in action, as this occurred
around September or October of 2000.

        • czarowniczy says:

Yeah, ‘oh they’ll catch that’ reeks of bureaucratic blow-off, they’ll catch that exactly how?
These were Bosnian Moslems or Christians? In the former case it’s OK to lie to dhimmi/kafir and in the latter it’s a venial sin which will be forgiven when some RAT latter-day Berrigan offers absolution. Rant over.
The Motor Voter Law was a perfect way for both parties to sneak voter fraud past the electorate, and you can’t tell me they didn’t know what they were doing, it was wayyyyy too obvious. The protections in the electing of public servants the Founders built in was destroyed with one stroke of a pen. Now we have untold thousands of non-citizens fresh off the boat – or whatever – voting and choosing the path for people who are Constitutionally able to vote. Most of these people have no concept of democracy or the voting in one carries nor any concept of what kind of future they’re creating.
America – it was a great experiment, too bad the RATS won.
