50 “Teens” Storm Georgia Walmart at 2:00am For “Wild Rampage of Destruction”…

Wal Mart dinduMACON, Ga. — Authorities in central Georgia say up to 50 teenagers bent on destruction raced into a Wal-Mart in Macon, smashing merchandise and causing an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Bibb County sheriff’s officials say some of the young people snatched a man from a motorized shopping cart and dragged him to the floor during the rampage around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Sheriff’s officials said one of the teens later told a Wal-Mart employee the goal was to see how much damage they could cause.  Sheriff’s officials say floors were coated with broken merchandise.

The Telegraph reports that the teens ran when deputies arrived, but a 17-year-old boy was arrested when he returned to the store to retrieve his cellphone.  Bibb County Sheriff David Davis said investigators are using surveillance video to try and identify suspects.  (link)

Another Report – […]  Some in the crowd also snatched a man, apparently a shopper at the Zebulon Road store, from a motorized shopping cart and dragged him to the floor, Bibb County sheriff’s officials said Monday.

The vandals, said to number between 40 and 50, sprinted down the store’s main aisle about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, “destroying merchandise displays and items,” a sheriff’s deputy’s report of the incident noted.

Floors in parts of the store were “coated with broken merchandise,” the report added. “The length of the store from front to rear was lined with items which had been shattered, destroyed, turned over and thrown about.”

When sheriff’s deputies got there, the crowd “began to flee into many different vehicles and leave the scene,” the report said.

The store, next to Lowe’s, is just east of Interstate 475 in one of the area’s most frequented shopping districts.

The teenager seen leading the rushing horde of young men and women told a Wal-Mart employee “that this was a planned event … to see how much damage they could cause,” the sheriff’s report said.

The teen, identified as 17-year-old Kharron Nathan Green, of Ashton Drive in northwest Bibb County, was arrested when he returned to the store to retrieve his cellphone.

Green was jailed and later released on bond after being charged with inciting a riot and second-degree damage to property.

Green, according to the sheriff’s report, first told cops that “he did not know anything about what had happened in the store and that he did not know anyone involved.”

But when his mother and father arrived and watched the surveillance footage with sheriff’s deputies, the report said “Green admitted to his parents that the male in the video was indeed him.”

He refused to name others in the crowd, but according to the report said they had all come from a party on the city’s south side.

“Hopefully we can identify the others,” Sheriff David Davis said Monday. “Hopefully it’s not a pattern of behavior.”

Davis wondered about the parental supervision of the young people involved.  (Read more)

My grandfather built a house on Nottingham Drive in Macon way back, I think in the 30’s. It sat across the street from a nice city park with a zoo. I remember seeing the zoo as a kid in the 50’s, and the main attraction was a moose. One day some black kids were throwing peanuts (or rocks) at the moose and ticked it off. It broke free and killed two or three of them, the police came and shot the moose, and the zoo closed soon after. Guess Macon has just gone downhill since.

I’ve boycotted Walmart already for over 20 years, not a dime have we spent there because we witnessed mom and pop stores going out of business in every community with a Walmart. I don’t wish them ill, but just hope they will pursue this and prosecute the perps – someone has to take the initiative or we’re gonna have do deal with this behavior in a most unpleasant way.

When Walmarts and Targets started selling food at some stores, I remember the grocery stores being upset. All I could think of how hypocritical that was. The grocery stores (by then almost all big corporations – Vons, Eagle, Albertsons, etc) put mom and pop grocery stores out of business. Now they were getting the same type of competition that they themselves had previously used to wipe out the little stores. lol

This is 2 miles from my house, in a nice area, known as “North Macon”. Sadly it is just north of the fringes of the ghetto areas of Macon. Question: Why didn’t they trash the ‘Ghetto Walmart’? Not that that would be a proper thing to do, but they clearly drove past the Walmart on the south side to get to the one where folks generally obey the law, middle and upper middle class neighborhoods.

Their handlers are having an impact on ghetto thug combat planning. I have been waiting for the emergence of mob fueled “trash whitey’s places”, looks like they have crossed that Rubicon. Stand by for this to appear in YOUR area.

As an aside, the thugs are actually somewhat comical in the lack of understanding of modern technology. Guy walks into a WallyWorld with a sail foam, and goes back to get it? I guess he and his homies never heard of “sanitization”.

All the Po Po have to do is get the cell phone tower logs and they will know which devices were there. They will also know, if they trivially care to pursue it, WHO was there. WalMart may just decide that the location is too expensive to operate in due to security needs and “shrink”, and let the place go.

It all goes to show that you cannot have a 1st world place with 3rd world inhabitants.

Section 8 vouchers make this much easier to happen.* Also, this new ruling on disparate impact in neighborhood diversity will make the little criminals’ “jobs” easier.

*I’m not saying all Section 8 people are problems, but the guy next to me bought a new house and rented his previous home (the property next to me) to Section 8. It was an awful two years. Single (white) mom with 5 kids in a two bedroom home, mother was so crude and rude. She was always throwing wild parties, and she had a man and woman who definitely looked like they had spent a long time homeless move into the garage (in SoCal, people with garages often don’t use them for a garage). She acted just like a teenager whose parents were gone for the weekend.. One weekend she actually hired a live band (which is not legal in a residential neighborhood here), and the whole neighborhood called the police on her. The landlord (my former neighbor), after previously brushing off all our complaints, finally kicked her out.

I suspect Section 8 vouchers are looking more attractive to people renting houses. In an apartment, all the rents have to be the same, but of course not with a house. They can charge higher rent for that house than they could get normally, because Section 8 (rather, our taxes) pays most of it, so they know they can get extra money than renting it to a regular person who would say the rent was too high for what it was.

Anyone else dealing with neighbors like this should poke around and see if their city has a nuisance house kind of ordinance. That’s where, if a house has had x-number of calls on it in the last year, the neighbors can get it labeled a “nuisance house,” meaning that every time there’s a validated complaint on it, the landlord gets slapped with a fine, and those fines rapidly escalate. Used to be first time the fine is $50, second time it’s $100, third time $150, or maybe it doubled every time, I forget.

Even slum lords generally sit up and take notice when they see that the fines will escalate rapidly and they’re paying off direct.

The ‘Ghetto Walmart’ might have been closed that late for you know the reasons. This Walnut store probably stayed open 24/7 to accommodate interstate travelers.
Lowe’s is seriously happy they do not stay open 24/7.
Note to travelers, late night stops in big, brightly lit stores, may now be hazardous to your health.

I live just south of you in what some folks call Wartown. I worked at the Macon Mall at Macy’s when I was in my early 20’s, it was a really nice mall. The last time I went there was almost 10 years ago when a group of “youths” walking through the mall were walking shoulder to shoulder and not moving for others coming towards them. I was standing with my daughter next to a water feature and was almost pushed into it as I was told, “scuse me.” I hope the shops at Rivoli Crossing don’t go down hill anytime soon.

I made the mistake a few years ago and stopped in the Walmart on Log Cabin Rd while traveling. It looked like it had been ransacked already.

I just wonder if these people ever think their behavior is causing younger generations to look at their entire race as people to be in fear of?

My daughter has never had a racist bone in her body, she was born way after civil rights, yet she just told me today that she’s not comfortable with how many blacks she sees moving into town. That it seems every time she goes to town these days, their multiplying. She said she’s been guilty often of not taking her gun with her, but now she takes it every time she leaves the house because she won’t allow her baby to be hurt by thugs.

        • In the blink of an eye, whites WILL be in the minority. White reproduction is down; reproductions for blacks and hispanics will continue to rise, along with the influx of hispanic illegals.

The white kids who are bring brought up now by liberals and parents with a strong normalcy bias are in for a really rude awakening – and one for which they will be VERY ill prepared.

I think it used to be the case, Justice, that they didn’t know what to do when you didn’t fear them. That was the case when, in the 70’s, a black male dear friend of mine said if I were to ever get hassled by a black man to be more confrontational myself and he’d back down. (Even then you didn’t mess with black women… “Because the Sisterhood”.) In the 70’s that would, far more likely than not, have worked.

Increasingly now, being confrontational with a black will get you a beatdown, now or later, more often than not. I’m not saying ALL blacks; some still hold the traditional values, but they are of an earlier generation, mostly and those aren’t the ones we’re talking about anyway.

Blacks are emboldened under the guidance of the Federal Government and the BGI. It’s not worth risking that they won’t know what to do if we aren’t afraid of them now in the cities, but it’s spreading fast. There’s big reward and very few consequences for thuggish mayhem.

Be prepared. This is the time to play the “what if…” scenarios about your personal safety, and to teach same to family members. Practice may not make perfect, but it will increase your odds. Think StrangerDanger on steroids.

The reply to that feeling is always “racism”. They never take into account that most violent crimes are committed by young black males and that whites are aware of that. If most violent crimes were committed by little green martians, we’d all avoid them or otherwise steer clear of them.

And I’ll never understand why it’s racist to list a criminal’s race (even when appealing to the public for help in finding them!), but it’s not sexist to list their gender. (It’s not of course, but it’s the exact same logic….) Why isn’t it ageist to label them as “teenagers”? Same thing.

I think there’s a difference between knowing it’s wrong in both instances (meaning both store location regardless of the neighborhood) versus giving a damn about one and not the other. It’s wrong to destroy property. End of story. But do I personally care if the savages trash their own hood? Nope.

I can’t say if this particular incident is an indication, but it COULD be construed as blacks feeling so empowered now by the many nurturing tentacles of this administration that they are “bringing” their terror tactics to middle and upper class neighborhoods. This hydra of an administration is deconstructing successful American society as it reaches further and further into it with its anarchical deconstruction through policies, regulations and legislation. Time will tell. If that IS what is happening, perhaps it will wake a few more normal people up.

It’s “funny” – you would think that with so many blacks in power (most city police chiefs), especially a former SOS, the last two Attorneys General, and especially a president (in name only IMO), that blacks would use that to inspire them, to work harder, to be like their role models who have made it. Any civil rights group that truly wanted blacks’ lives to get better would also encourage them to do this. And the blacks who have made it would too. But instead the highest up black leaders and the black groups want to keep telling people that they are oppressed and there are only barriers in front of them. Virtually all of their leaders are more intent on preserving the narrative (and $) than they are on encouraging people to do anything with their lives except act out against perceived injustice where there actually is none.

They are their own worst barrier, especially with all the extra help they have available (inflated test scores, catch and release school and city police policies, frequent media protection, etc).

The right leaders (and lawful, hard working blacks) could change the narrative and help lift blacks onto the right path. But instead they’ll keep doing what they’re doing, and we’ll keep getting the blame.

It’s really a shame to us here who would really like seeing inner city blacks do better.

Recently, I (an almost 50 white woman) was threatened by a 30 something black woman. I took down her license plate and found out that she actually lived in a home three times the size of mine with her parents. Her father is college educated and has a nice job. I spoke with someone who attended school with her and they told me that she has always tried to be thug even though she was upper middle class.

It appears that the middle class black kids want to be a part of the struggle instead of reaping the reward of their grandparents and parents struggle.

Its a dead nuts certainty that particular Walmart was deliberately targeted because it is in an upscale neighborhood ! The reports of “gang signs” being flashed confirms it to me. I’m amazed these young thugs didn’t encounter a CCW customer at that hour ! Or they were smart enough to avoid confronting anyone seeming capable of defending themselves. However, as news of this raid – and probable subsequent ones – spreads the chances of these goons becoming more violent increases and so does the possibility, errrr probability, of their ingestion of a metallic object. I fear we’re gonna have a lot of ‘George Zimmerman’ – type cases this summer.

I think the “teens” are smart enough to catch on to stores having videos and police following through – but more stores and police departments are going to have to push for prosecution. If they do, maybe this “normal teen behavior” will start being rare.

It would seem to me, if these folks really did want to make any lives matter, let alone Muslim or black lives, they could start by being outraged by the actions of a few and perpetuate the thought that in order to overcome, they must first look introspectively into their own rather than lashing out at others. This is a propaganda war, plain and simple. The blind and stupid are easily led into slaughter and will do anything, including champion an idea that they did not conceive, do not actively support and blur the so called innocence of their own actions into a war on nothing more than the idea that they are being persecuted, not by the slave driving masters that hold their strings but by the very core of the civilization they want no part of to start with. If you are again confused of whom I speak, then the point is clear. If we, as a society are going to survive, then we must find out who is perpetuating this hate and stop it before it consumes us all. We can start by limiting the power of tort and taking responsibility for our actions. Words do not hurt people, people hurt people. Remove the power from the words and they are meaningless. Change starts with individuals, not nations. Return the freedom to the speech and stop adding meanings for the sake of convenience. Keep your protests peaceful and stop associating violence with progress. Stop litigating sentiment as suffering. it is the cowards way out and no one benefits except the lawyers. Pain and suffering are part of life. Get over it and move on. Only when these things happen with the oppressed one’s move out of the chains that bind. Revolution without meaning is useless. The evil behind this movement is simply maddening.

I equate it to using logic on a liberal. It is an exercise in futility. Thanks all the same. I guess the assumption is that far enough up the food chain, the perpetrator(s) of these movements do have some intellectual capacity and while they must have equated some end to their means, I can’t for the life of me figure out any other end game than America going the way of Israel when Iran gets its hands on nuclear weapons. I guess they mean to turn us on ourselves first, then sort out the rest. Maddening, I tell you.

Green was jailed and later released on bond after being charged with inciting a riot and second-degree damage to property.

Hmmm… maybe authorities are starting to grow spines. That stepfather of Michael Brown was allowed to repeatedly yell “burn it (the town) down!”, even on video. He should have been charged with inciting a riot, for sure.

Walmart video has been released. Total footage is over 4 mins., the only pertinent part of vid is the first minute since the gang was only in the store for 50 seconds, and all images of them were blurred. They did not go thru entire store which is why the damage total is only $2,000.
