HAMAS Main Compound Bunker Located Under Central Gaza Hospital – Western Media Know But Fail To Report….

Reporters in Gaza know exactly where the main Hamas compound is located but they refuse to discuss it because:  a.) they fear retaliation from Hamas, and, b.) the media don’t want to report anything that supports Israel’s contentions.

GAZA – The idea that one of Hamas’ main command bunkers is located beneath Shifa Hospital in Gaza City is one of the worst-kept secrets of the Gaza war.

Muslim Brotherhood Soldiers

So why aren’t reporters in Gaza ferreting it out? The precise location of a large underground bunker equipped with sophisticated communications equipment and housing some part of the leadership of a major terrorist organization beneath a major hospital would seem to qualify as a world-class scoop—the kind that might merit a Pulitzer, or at least a Polk.

So why isn’t the fact that Hamas uses Shifa Hospital as a command post making headlines? In part, it’s because the location is so un-secret that Hamas regularly meets with reporters there. On July 15, for example, William Booth of the Washington Post wrote that the hospital “has become a de facto headquarters for Hamas leaders, who can be seen in the hallways and offices.”

Back in 2006, PBS even aired a documentary showing how gunmen roam the halls of the hospital, intimidate the staff, and deny them access to protected locations within the building—where the camera crew was obviously prohibited from filming.

Khaled-Meshaal - Hamas LeaderYet the confirmation that Hamas is using Gaza City’s biggest hospital as its de facto headquarters was made in the last sentence of the eighth paragraph of Booth’s story—which would appear to be the kind of rookie mistake that is known in journalistic parlance as “burying the lede.”

But Booth is no rookie—he’s an experienced foreign reporter, which means that he buried the lede on purpose. Why? Well, one reason might be that the “security sources” quoted whenever the location of the Hamas command bunker is mentioned—which, as evidenced by this 2009 article by the excellent and highly experienced foreign correspondent Steven Erlanger of the New York Times, happens every time there’s a war in Gaza—are obviously Israelis, not members of Hamas.

It might be hard to believe the Israelis, the simple logic might run, since they obviously have an investment in arguing that Hamas is using hospitals and schools as human shields.

The Israelis are so sure about the location of the Hamas bunker, however, not because they are trying to score propaganda points, or because it has been repeatedly mentioned in passing by Western reporters—but because they built it.

Back in 1983, when Israel still ruled Gaza, they built a secure underground operating room and tunnel network beneath Shifa hospital—which is one among several reasons why Israeli security sources are so sure that there is a main Hamas command bunker in or around the large cement basement beneath the area of Building 2 of the Hospital, which reporters are obviously prohibited from entering.  (read more)

Ah yes, huge, steaming, fly-encrusted piles of all the news that’s sh*t to print.

Like yesterday.s CBS ad hominem ad nauseam report on the numbers of innocent Palestinian children being slaughtered wholesale by a cold and uncaring Israel. The report even showed the dead, blood-soaked bodies of the children being carried through crowds of wailing bystanders by grieving, devastated and tear-soaked parents. Now hoe often do you see the dinnertime propagandists actually showing closeups of the broken and bleeding corpses of children. Most of the way through the piece the narRATer casualty mentions that one of the dead kids was the son of a CBS reporter’s local driver, in passing, but that had nothing to do with their so deeply covering this tragedy.

Earlier yesterday i did see, amongst the news pieces blasting the soulless Israelis, that a report widely circulated about an Israeli arty round hitting a Palestinian school MAY HAVE BEEN incorrect as the Israel drone that captures each arty strike to have an answer for the Muslim and pro-Muslim media when they broadcast their ‘unbiased’ reports shows the round landing nowhere near the school. Just to retain their unbiased string of compost the media were quick to say that the authenticity of the videos and how/if they relate to that particular stroke has not been independently (independently???) verified.

Meanwhile the Palestinian claims of the IDF purposely targeting a school full of Palestinian children learning how to embrace diversity go unchallenged.

I think I’ll go back to watching el Jizzerra – I at least expect them to lie through their bad teeth.

I noticed that disgusting reporting elsewhere in the MSM too. They report something they have to know is patently false and pure Pali Propaganda go through all kinds of horrific details especially showing children and women and wailing and then a slight casual mention that it hasn’t been authenticated or some other mealy mouthed BS. I just pray Israel shows the resolve to win. If they do that then they can show the bunker, more of the tunnels and booby traps and maybe, just maybe a few Palis free of Hamas may back them up? I don’t know if any would but I’m hoping there is something other than pure evil and those they brainwashed in Gaza.

      • czarowniczy says:

One of the dangers I see is that the Israelis will get so disgusted by the biased MSM pro-Islamic propaganda that one of the social restraints they’d have that would prevent them from turning their neighboring counties into that huge, contiguous, glow-in-the-dark, glass-topped parking lot (Walmart had a sale on adjectives) – public opinion – would be gone. One can only hope that were that to happen the MSM would be hold a huge convention within the ‘immediate vaporization’ zone.

    • justfactsplz says:

The media said yesterday that some journalists toured the bombed school and found blood in the halls. That was not independently verified to see if Hamas planted the blood stains after the fact.

“…militants rushed and cleared debris…” They left out the part about first having to determine what was debris and what was just the normal state of the neighborhood.

It seems to me the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas and Obama all have something in common, and that is, figuratively speaking, for everything they all do and say, the common denominator is like all of them being cooperatively engaged in the resumed manufacture of Zyklon B.

  3. rashomon says:

If Hamas would keep their evil deeds in Gaza, I guess I have no right to object. However, their propaganda and propagandists are all over the U.S. college campuses and Main Street America. The opportunity for violence while studying, working, shopping, vacationing or otherwise going about one’s daily business limits FREEDOM. Obama has blessed this conflict for with we will paying for generations to come.

These are Communist news organizations. They have been hating Israel since 1953, when Israel basically snubbed the Soviet Union.

    • allhail2 says:

Eventually, someone dumb enough within those pro Hamas groups is going to make hay with a God fearing, conceal carry card member with a “I support Israel” bumper sticker or shirt on. It won’t be long before they turn their focus on Christians, too, in this country. It’s only going to get uglier.

      Powder dry, kiddos, powder dry.

“The Israelis are so sure about the location of the Hamas bunker, however, not because they are trying to score propaganda points, or because it has been repeatedly mentioned in passing by Western reporters—but because they built it.”

Let’s face it: anything of value in Gaza, the Israelis built — the housing, the greenhouses, the hospitals, the whole shebang. When the Palestinians took over Gaza, they smashed the greenhouses, destroyed housing and otherwise walked back to square one. With the millions, perhaps billions, bestowed upon them by people from around the world, what have they done. Built schools? Improved housing? Constructed infrastructure? Employed their citizens in developing agriculture or technology? No, they buy arms and dig tunnels to harass their neighbors, killing (I’ve heard) hundreds of children who have served as mole rats in the construction of that underground network. And their leaders have skimmed and scammed to rise from refugee status to millionaires. Who’da thunk?

  5. LetJusticePrevail" says:

One part of this leaves me scratching my head. Part of the key to Hamas’ continued resistance is their ability to avoid pinpoint strikes by the IDF. So, if the whereabouts of this “bunker” is known, why hasn’t the IDF attempted a raid to exterminate the Hamas leaders? Is it simply a matter of being unable to overcome the defenses, or is it a matter of being concerned over the resulting optic if there are considerable “collateral” deaths?

    • elvischupacabra says:

Maybe it being under a hospital has something to do with it. They know the IDF won’t bunker-buster them.

      • LetJusticePrevail" says:

Agreed. A “Bunker Buster” is out of the question.I was thinking something more along the lines of a Special Forces team infiltrating the area, breaching the security checkpoints, and assassinating the Hamas leaders inside. That sounds pretty risky, and may even be a suicide mission, but the Israelis have done some daring things in the past.

  6. waltherppk says:

The solution seems simple. The “Palestinian Homeland” promises to be a marine sanctuary. So Israel should send all the Palestinians to the promised land.

  7. Col(R) Ken says:

I think the IDF is doing a great job, proud of them boys. Keep up the good work. Need help? Call me.

  8. elvischupacabra says:

If anyone tries to report the TRUTH in Gaza, Hamas will either steal their equipment or threaten them. In a war zone, it’s easy for a “stray bullet” to hit a reporter.

That’s why IDF releases the truth, but then the Antisemitic and/or MSM sees that as “a government news source” and discounts it. It is sad that in the moral equivalency cesspool in which we now live, Hamas and the IDF are credibility co-equals.

  9. partyzantski says:

Here is an absolute steamer, demanding attention and to be read:

If this is an actual excerpt from a conversation between POTUS and Netanyahu, this is electrifying in its implications for the current phase of Israel v. Phillistines. There is no denial the convo took place, just as to the content of said convo. Actions will show what went on.

Right now, it looks like American foreign policy has just taken several torpedoes below the waterline and is listing badly to the left. This is a very dangerous situation, no matter what side of the ship you are on.

  10. doodahdaze says:

Here is what they do to Christians. ISIS chops their heads off. Meanwhile Pelosi and Company proclaim them humanitarian? This is GRAPHIC but should be show to see what we are up against.

  11. flaladybug says:

Their was a discussion on Fox this morning that gave information that caught my ear. They were discussing the misinformation that Was being reported and pointed out that the number of casualties being reported, and used as propaganda from Hamas, were numbers provided by the UN. Guess who was providing the UN with the casualty statistics….wait for it…..HAMAS!! Without actual verification, we really have NO IDEA how skewed the numbers may be. Then again…..HAMAS would have NO REASON to inflate the numbers would they?? (sarc off)

  12. What about the report leaked by the Pentagon about Israel asking for an emergency resupply of mortar ammunition? http://www.newsweek.com/us-gives-israel-more-grenades-and-mortar-rounds-gaza-offensive-262221
Sounds bogus to me. As an ex-IDF soldier, I can tell you there is so much of this ammunition going around, this leak must be an intentional attempt to prove a point. Thoughts anyone?
