The reason for that is the same reason why President Stompy Feet is provoking you now…. he wants confrontation; he wants anger; It’s all just tinder to create a situation where “more control” becomes needed and justified.
The current “regime” that has become the petty display of President Stompy Feet is desperate to convince you, or enforce by design, a belief that liberalism has value. You don’t win the fight for liberty in this phase by letting the aggressor make you angry. Instead you need to find the key to smart resolve.
Our current goals should be to keep up morale, and highlight the larger objectives of their intents. Learn from the historically smart resolve of Solidarity and Resistance. Dance and sing joyful songs along the way, even if you have to do it in private. Don’t let anyone steal your peace – that alone, will drive the regime nuts.
The willfully blind media are doing the regime bidding, all in an effort to convince you your views are in the minority. It’s how they roll.

The AFN broadcast center had to slash staff once the shutdown began on Tuesday. All channels except AFN News have gone off the air. Goodbye, AFN Sports. This is what you get when you tune in:

Notice anything odd? As Weaselzippers rightly points out there is no option for a “NO” selection as an answer to the question.
Why do you think that is?
They had a poll before, a few days ago, which looked like this:
80% of respondents (over a quarter million people) said “Hell NO”.
Rut roh….. what’s a willfully blind media to do? Why, take down the poll and replace it with one that people cannot vote “NO” in.

You see, WE THE PEOPLE are in the majority on these issues. In order to run a government without the consent of the governed, they need to use tricks to make their schemes seem ordinary.
Their approach is first to Isolate you, make you feel that your views are in the minority and not held by others. Secondly, they Ridicule anyone publicly who holds your views, so your immediate visceral reaction is to try and avoid being ridiculed yourself. Thirdly, they Marginalize people who may hold views that run counter to the expressed viewpoint of the governing body.
The radicals, the activists, the community organizers who implement these usurpations are taught how to do this. Isolate, Ridicule and Marginalize, this is what they do in almost every circumstance when they face any opposition to their ideology.
If they can provoke you into anger, they can then isolate you, ridicule you, and define you. Don’t fall for their finger poking, and shoving…..
….. Instead, just dance !!
