GOOD GRIEFUnbelievable stuff from that questioning session today in congress.

holder-testify

Attorney General, Eric Holder, claims he recused himself from the decision making surrounding the wiretapping of more than 100 Associated Press reporters and 20+ phone lines.   However, he states we need to take his word for it because there is nothing documented which provides support for his self-recusal claim.

Not only that, he claims he doesn’t even know “WHEN” he recused himself, and further states he never notified anyone of the recusal itself – nor did he notify the White House.

Asked by Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL) whether he thought it might be appropriate to memorialize such an action as a matter of record, Holder said he agreed.

“I guess it might be helpful,” he said.

So, absent of his decision making or approval, when congress questioned him about who then was responsible for authorizing the subpoena’s, incredulously he claims he’s not sure.  He thinks he knows who did it, but he’s just not sure.    Seriously?

Think about this. The U.S. Attorney General is not “sure” who approved wiretaps on the main media source for the entire country? Over 100 known affected journalists and over 20 known tapped phone lines and email communications? And six days after the story blows up all over the media – he shows up to congress to answer questions about it – and he has not even picked up the phone and asked his own Assistant AG’s who authorized?

Insufferable.

Yet, he cops an attitude when questioned by Daryl Issa about the deliberate blocking, stonewalling, and concealment of information from congress.

Whiskey – Tango – Foxtrot ?

That’s why I could never be a congress critter. If it had been me sitting there I would have stood up, said “ENOUGH”, and then called the Sergeant at Arms to arrest the Attorney General for obstruction and given him 24 hours in a jail cell to contemplate his approach.
