In her opening performance in front of a packed audience at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., singer Mary J. Blige began a rendition of her hit song by shouting out to the President.  However, the shout out sounded a bit strange given the nature of presidential campaigns.

Before performing her song, “Family Affair,” Blige asked the audience to stand up. She then shouted to the enthusiastic crowd, “Lets get it crunk for President Obama!” The crowd cheered and began dancing.  (err, ok)
