MSNBC Proclaims Reverend Al Sharpton never “rushed to judgment” in the George Zimmerman Case… We Prove They Are Liars

On the heels of Sean Hannity’s interview with George Zimmerman, MSNBC defends itself against the accusation that they, in general, and Al Sharpton specifically, did not “rush to judgement” in the Trayvon Martin shooting.

Here is the official MSNBC position as told to Politico:

“MSNBC would like to set the record straight following some misinformation presented by Fox News during the interview with George Zimmerman last night,” MSNBC wrote in a statement sent to POLITICO. “Reverend Al Sharpton never ‘rushed to judgment,’ as stated by Mr. Hannity. Reverend Sharpton repeatedly called for calm and for a more thorough investigation in the wake of the tragic events. Ultimately, the authorities agreed an arrest was warranted.”

Now let’s just cut through the crap, and get to the truth.   Because unlike MSNBC and the institutional legacy media complex the Truth Has No Agenda.

The best way to show how insufferably ridiculous MSNBC is, is to showcase their network host Al Sharpton in his own words.   The first example being his appearance at the Sanford City Council meeting where he personally threatens the City Government, council members, Mayor and City Manager:

4:50  …you are risking going down as Birmingham and Selma in the twenty first century…  You are making the world know you as a place of racial intollerance…. you have compromised the reputation of your city for one man….

Listen to his own words.

Second example from the Rally he led in Sanford. Fort Mellon Park March 22nd:

In this video you can see Al Sharpton sharing the stage with the New Black Panthers who had at that time placed a $10,000 bounty on the head of George Zimmerman wanted “Dead or Alive”. Sharpton continues…..

… Trayvon represents a reckless disregard for our [black] lives that we’ve seen for too long, and we’ve come here tonight to tell you enough is enough….

…. you thought it was hot,…. well, the heat has just arrived….

The third example is from the same rally March 22nd and showcases the entire Al Sharpton speech as it aired live on local TV networks:

…. we cannot allow a legal precedent to be established in this city where a man can murder anyone he wants and walk out free with a murder weapon…..  I have mobilized the National Action Network……

Contrast that against the official MSNBC statement:

MSNBC would like to set the record straight following some misinformation presented by Fox News during the interview with George Zimmerman last night.”   “Reverend Al Sharpton never ‘rushed to judgment,’ as stated by Mr. Hannity.  Reverend Sharpton repeatedly called for calm and for a more thorough investigation in the wake of the tragic events.

Do those videos of Al Sharpton sound, or look, like a man calling for calm in your book.?    And let us not forget what organization rallied with Al Sharpton at Mellon Park on March 22nd as you can clearly see in this next video.  Pay attention to the men at the front of the stage handing out flyers:

Yep, that is the New Black Panther Party. There were Dozens of Black Panther militants lined up with Al Sharpton, Ben Jealous, Jesse Jackson, Benjamin Crump and the entire Trayvon Martin Family.

And what do you suppose was written on those flyers they are handing out in front of the stage at Al Sharpton’s Rally:

WASHINGTON TIMES – The U.S. Department of Justice had no comment on the $10,000 bounty the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) was offering for a “citizen’s arrest Dead or Alive” of George Zimmerman, the 28 year old man who told Sanford, Florida Police he shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin on February 26 in an act of self-defense.

“My People”

In modern America, a prudent citizen should know to remain in their vehicle, doors locked, and windows up, when there are young black males known to be in the vicinity.

What does this say about our society?  Are we living in a drive through Safari Park?

If we get out of our vehicles we deserve what we get and shouldn’t blame the animals, much less shoot them in self-defense?

People are foaming at the mouth calling George Zimmerman a racist while at the same time saying he’s at fault for not following the rules on the Safari Park safety brochure.

Academic scholar…..16 years old….executed?? 3 lies in first sentence! I watched that rally earlier tonight and it made me sick. What’s really disturbing is the way the crowd was eating it up. I had to laugh when they started passing around the orange buckets demanding donations. Sharpton is a racist pig and poor excuse for a human being.

The problem is that the TM supporters do not know how to read with any comprehension. They don’t know how to think for themselves, or else they would check multiple resources before belching their opinions at the end of the MSNBC meal.

I was glad when I heard Hannity make that remark also. And, even though MSNBC clings to its position that it did nothing wrong, I noticed in the coverage of the Colorado killings, all day yesterday, ALL the networks refrained from many remarks, saying “we don’t want to rush to judgement.” Because ALL the main networks did rush to judgement against Zimmerman and they should not get by with it. All the networks did except FOX.

There was a discussion here about Tracy Martin possibly belonging to a gang, maybe the crips or bloods or something. I think it may be likely that Tracy Martin was/is a Black Panther.

Looking at the picture of the Panthers above, the one guy is making a circle with his raised hand. Is that the same hand signal that the heavy set guy in yellow was making in the picture posted here with Tracy Martin and his Masonic buddies?

Then there was the discussion about Tracy’s neck tatoo. I believe someone said it may have said “cat.” A panther is a cat. I’ve just looked at some Black Panther tatoos, and there are many of them, not just one symbolizing that you are a member.

Who mobilized the Black Panthers to show up in Sanford? Could it have been Tracy? What do you think guys? Is Tracy a Black Panther?

Do you think some of these people, in churches, who put money into the trashcans will hold back as a protest against what the parents are seeking against Zimmerman. Do you think someone in their churches will pull these parents aside and say, look, you know what your son really did to that man, do you think God will really bless what you are trying to do by having him railroaded?

Also, so much is made out of them, what about GZ, his parents couldn’t come out in public, let alone speak about their son, since everyone was terrorized and sent into hiding. Do these people realize how much pain they have caused to innocent people, the best of citizens? How can they hope to have justice when they won’t give justice to others?

NBC’s “He Looks Black” – Now You See It, Now You Don’t

NBC is busy taking down the evidence of its repeated usage of its bogus edit of the George Zimmerman 911 call. This follows the firing of a producer for the use of the same bad edit on the March 27 Today Show. Left unanswered – what about the March 22 use on the Today Show? [LATE ADD: a third usage of “He looks black” has been found and edited out of existence (but not Google Cache!) at NBC 6 Miami, as described below. When will the Elite Media sniff a cover-up?]

Twelve days ago Dan Riehl found this at MSNBC:

“This guy looks like he’s up to no good … he looks black,” Zimmerman told a police dispatcher from his car. His father has said that Zimmerman is Hispanic, grew up in a multiracial family, and is not racist.

The use of ellipsis clearly indicate that the conversation was clipped. This version has since been re-edited (without any explanation) to include the complete exchange.

Yesterday the discovery by Les Jones of two similar bad edits at NBC 6 Miami for stories from March 19 and March 20 was widely broadcast by the InstaPundit. As of this writing, those stories have been “fixed” by the web editors to eliminate the troublesome passages (and are marked as updated April 9; the specific update is unexplained). Fortunately, the original versions live on in Google Caches and screen shots taken by Les Jones, shown below.

And on Monday Jeralyn Merritt discovered, with Lexis, this Today Show transcript from March 22 with the same bad edit. So far that is still online, but a screenshot is below.

Statement by Reverend Al Sharpton and National Action Network Regarding the Shooting of Trayvon Martin

STATEMENT BY REVEREND AL SHARPTON AND NATIONAL ACTION NETWORK REGARDING THE SHOOTING OF TRAYVON MARTIN– AN UNARMED AFRICAN-AMERICAN TEENAGER KILLED BY A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH CAPTAIN IN FLORIDA

March 12, 2012 (New York, NY) “National Action Network and I have called for a complete and thorough investigation into the killing of 17-year-old Florida teenager Trayvon Martin. The fact that a young unarmed man could be killed by a neighborhood watch captain while his family was blatantly misled by local police as to the background of the shooter is disturbing. Further, the fact that we are told that racial language was used when the young man reported his suspicions to police, and when he was told not to pursue the shooter, that he allegedly defied them by doing so, is a compelling reason for NAN and I to become involved. Attorney Benjamin Crump, whom we have worked with in Florida in the past, reached out to me and NAN and appeared on my nationally syndicated radio show “Keepin it Real” today to request an intervention from my civil rights organization. I intend to go to Orlando and meet with Attorney Crump and demand the release of 911 tapes.”

Reverend Al Sharpton, President of Nation al Action Network

STATEMENT FROM REVEREND AL SHARPTON & NAN REGARDING THE CONTINUED CALLS FOR JUSTICE ON BEHALF OF TRAYVON MARTIN

Thursday, March 29, 2012—(New York, NY) “Since the time that Attorney Ben Crump, representing the parents of Trayvon Martin, reached out to me and National Action Network (the first national civil rights group to get involved in the case), I have called for the arrest of George Zimmerman for probable cause for the killing of Trayvon martin.

It appears from videos released yesterday and today that there is probable cause to also arrest him for obstruction of justice and for filing a false police report if in fact he told police he sustained a broken nose and other injuries. From those videos and the time line on the videos, there is indication that the video was within an hour of the killing and there are no visible injuries or evidence of a broken nose. It is highly suspicious how any law enforcement personnel looking at George Zimmerman ever believed he sustained those reported injuries and that is why we reiterate that there must be a complete investigation into the Sanford Police Department. National Action Network will continue to intensify our rallies and marches in the Sanford area around these calls.”

What really bothers me is how Sharpton is held up in the media.

For instance, it was awhile back, but O’Reilly had Sharpton on his show. I cannot remember the subject matter, however, I do remember they made a bet on the outcome of their positions, and loser had to buy winner a steak dinner. Then O’Reilly went on to say this was all friendly because Sharpton is a good friend. A good friend? Why would you want a friend like that or be even remotely associated with him?

So when Sundancecracker pointed out that Sharpton shared the stage with the New Black Panthers, my question is if Sharpton is such a good guy why would he even allow the Panthers anywhere near him or the situation.

This would be like someone going on the side of Zimmerman, standing on a stage next to the KKK. No different.

And it was Minister Hashim Nzinga that put the bounty of GZ’s head. I cannot take credit for this link it was 22Tula from the open thread on GZ for 7/18, where Tula gave us this link. If you haven’t seen the video, actually it’s more of an audio with pics shown, then you really need to listen to the person who put the bounty out there and the organization that Sharpton was standing on the same stage with. Again, if it was KKK, ppl would be tearing their hair out. In debating elsewhere on New Black Panthers standing in front of polling place with a club, I always get the oh you‘re so afraid of New Black Panthers … what 3 ppl? Yet, if you look at the picture in the video at I believe 00:21, you see a pretty damn big crowd of uniformed Black Panthers. Here’s the link that 22Tula posted. My take on the video…Why did a 9 year old have to “drag” a grown man out of the house? Was Tracy somehow incapacitated? Also SF states “he(Trayvon) would not have confronted him(George), he did not have a weapon on him…” Then she seems to reason that since George has a weapon, he would have confronted TM. She must not believe DeeDee, because DeeDee actually claims that TM did confront GZ with “why are you following me”. So is what she is really saying, if Trayvon had a weapon on him (was that typical?- maybe a screwdriver), she could believe that he confronted George?

From Pam Bondi’s own lips, she said that she is good friends with Crump and Parks, and that they were very good lawyers.

Wasn’t Bondi a part of the prosecution team that went after the youth camp workers in the Martin Anderson case? When the workers were found not guilty, Crump vowed that he would never let an injustice like that happen again, and he is proving that with his massive involvement in the Zimmerman case.

Either Pam Bondi has an overwhelming case of white guilt syndrome, or she is an opportunist, or both. Bondi was a state attorney when Charlie Crisp handed over $5 million in taxpayer funds to the Crumpster as a result of the Anderson case. They got an additional $2.5 million from another lawsuit tied to that case.

Do you notice any riots and call for lynchings for the Colorado shooter? Despite what happened, no one speaks unresponsibly about that. We wait for due process, a mental evaluation, a trial, a conviction because that’s what we have agreed to as a standard for society. We trust the society, our government, and when it doesn’t seem to go as we want, we don’t riot, we vote!

But about a good, really good, and consientious young man trying to protect his family and his neighbors, it was said that he was a coldblooded, depraved murderer, who stalked and shot down an unarmed child like a rabid dog.

Where was this hate energy for Kenneth Chamberlain, which was just as tragic, and probably racist since one of the cops said the “N” word, and they actually went into his residence and killed him. Chamberlain doesn’t solicit public sympathy as the meme of the little child with skittles.

Spielberg said that his movie was to show man’s inhumanity to man, not group against group, but the students, backed by their African American and Liberal teachers insisted that they shouldn’t care what others had suffered, until they realize their own victimhood.
