Will and Kankakee Counties, as of this morning from ABC Chicago, only “23 ICU beds available, in the whole two county region. There are six big ‘system’ hospitals in this region.
Just got home from work, I kept one person off a ventilator. My goal is to try and keep ya breathing without a vent! Folks, it is real, if you get a ventilator your days are pretty much numbered if in a small hospital. I have seen disparity of resuscitation efforts too and guess what folks???!!!…

NE Ohio here. Trump signs in areas still up. Seeing brand new school style flag poles going up with new flags. People letting others know where they stand. So glad to see. My flag pole has had a flag on it 24/7 for 17 yrs so I notice. Some towns still have their flags flying which touches my heart. People seem to be holding their breath as they go about their normal days. Ohio belongs to Trump so we shall see as time goes by.
Barrier Island, Outer Banks NC – We have been at our beach house for two weeks. Off season is usually sparsely populated this time of year except for fishermen. We rent middle of May through the first week of October. This year was a banner year for rentals. All weeks were rented. With kids doing virtual learning families came here to get away from their lockdowns and social distancing is not a problem. Masks are called for at all businesses to enter.
Husband has been installing flooring this week. Friday morning he cut himself with a razor blade. I tried to stop the bleeding and decided he needed stitches. We drove a couple of miles to the local medical center. Parked and approached the entrance. Big sign at the door informing patients to stop, don’t enter. Call the phone number listed on the door for further instruction.
He called the number and the message said they were in a staff meeting until 1:30. This was around 11:00 am. If further stated not to leave a message! There was a person at a side entrance all dressed in scrubs and masked doing Covid testing to no one in sight. My husband walked towards her. She threw up her hand and said stop. She was there to do testing only.
He asked her what was someone with an emergency supposed to do while the Drs and staff were in a staff meeting. She suggested we drive 50 miles to the nearest urgent care.
We went instead to the drugstore and bought butterfly strips, gauze and band aids. Got the bleeding stopped and he went back to working on our floors. Crazy times we are living in.
People here currently visiting are from all over the country. Reading license plates. VA, CT, Ohio, PA, RI, just to name a few.

Las Vegas (Clark County) is still counting votes. Life around here is sort of depressing. Plexiglass is everywhere and almost everyone wears a covering on their face. I own a coin store and talk to a lot of people. Almost everyone thinks Trump had Nevada stolen. Most think Biden won and it is over. I still preach a message of hope. More and more people are sick and tired of this fake virus hoax. I know I am! God bless us all and God bless Mr. Trump. #COVIDISAHOAX
I went into my coin store, purchased a Trump 2020 coin last week. As I was walking out the owner said “Maybe we should do a Biden coin”. I yelled “NO!” and they all laughed. I have to say it was weird walking in and seeing all their plexiglas panels up. I didn’t wear a mask and they did not complain or ask me to leave.
An addendum to my posting up thread esp. for Will County, IL. Local schools are sending kids home if they have a headache. Before they can return to class (if they are privileged to be able to go to school), must present an ‘approved’ “Negative” test.
The testing numbers are now including individuals that don’t need to be tested, hence several days of “positive” cases. The numbers the last few days are over 10k each day.
My grandson in in preschool in Washington state. He had some sniffles and runny nose and could not return until he was tested. From what my daughter told me, it was a very unpleasant experience for him. One thing is sure, between the lockdowns, the masks and the testing, he will remember this virus a whole lot more than I remember the 1957-58 Asian flu that swept through the country when I was in Kindergarten. And that makes me angry and sad.
Front range CO. A neighbor’s daycare is closed because A parent of one child among 40 children has tested positive. Closed for 2 weeks. I am told that a team is sent in ato rally deep clean so that might be good. Poor dad is a student and stuck at home with son all day everyday and not happy.. It’s so funny to watch these parents having to raise their offspring without being able keep them at a daycare for 40 hrs a week.
I love in STL Metro East & work in a hospital. The election was a red swell, which turned many local seats from red to blue. I have been very suspicious of the Presidential ticket and the other blue winners after seeing the whos that won, including a local democrat state rep who won when all the others were won by republicans. This incumbent has recieved $195,000,000 from the IL Speaker of the House/IL Democrat Party Chairman Mike Madigan’s war machine–for a state seat. It’s mind boggling.
After seeing the various ways fraud can take placen I wonder what the price of a ballot actually is, based on the seat…
Anyway, many Trump supporters here are hopeful about the election, although if they’re not plugged into this blog or another citizen journalist website, they have no reason to be other than they are/have been happy warriors walking blindly through the night with only their own sense of right and wrong as a guide. Thay all have completely disavowed fauxnews.
On the covid update. I work in a hospital and over the past three weeks, our hospitalization numbers have taken a very rapid and deadly upturn. Whereas the spring epidemic numbers were concerning, they were controlled. The curve was flattened & relatively speaking, there were few deaths, and those few were high-risk related. This new upturn is turning dramatically upward in almost half the time and these new cases are younger people with fewer or no underlying health conditons. These are people in there 30s, 40s, 50s. We have more cases than we ever has in the spring & we are running out of vents. Because of the higher acuity spilling out if the ICU, the stepdown unit is now taking care of vented patients, which they have never done before. The medical unit where stable covid patients were being treated has more than half covid positive & they are progressing both ways, to wellness & to more sick. We had a very sad case last week of a older parent & adult child who were both vented in ICU. This has been very emotionally difficult for staff to deal with because the feeling of helplessness.
The plandemic/chinavirus/election infection has done so much damage to small businesses & restaurant owners & wait staff. A group of small bsuinesses in the county have hired legal counsel who has instructed them to remain open & defy Governor Pritzker’s complete shut down order–for which I am glad. My husband & I have made a priority or dining in at nearby restaurants who have bravely remined open.
The reality of the virus is that no physicians have been brave enough to prescribe HCQ & zinc. Personally, I have been taking quercetin & zinc with lion’s mane mushroom powder to prevent the infection. Our noncovid medical unit regularly has patients who test positive after being admitted to the hospital. Many people report testing negative intially, but once symptoms become more severe, they test again, will become positive. This is an indication that the viral load is not high enough to show on a PCR.
It isn’t & has never been accurate to call this a “pandemic” to date, however, what I am seeing now is more serious & concerning. I think it also not wise to dismiss the illness as a hoax. It is real. People really die from it and the second wave is here.
I believe with all my heart that Event 201 was a dry run plan by China/WHO, CDC, big pharm, big media, CIA, UN, etc. to depopulate & practice the worldwide pandemic coronavirus schenario.

Nope, it has been eerily quiet and still lately.
People are upset. We are angry. We feel like they cheated. We still believe Trump will remain our president.
Was told by the kid “cleaning” shopping carts at local Aldi that they can call the police if a customer does not comply with our Democrat turned Republican governor’s mask mandate that went into effect at midnight. Aldi offers masks, taken from a pile, handed to you by a kid, no sterile masks, and something that is open to tampering.. All West Virginians must wear a mask at all times inside a public building in a room with 2 or more people. Hardly any cars on the road yesterday, not a lot of people out and about. Took our recycling to the dump, bright sunny Saturday, and nobody in line which a year ago would have never been the case. Our county has 19 reported virus cases, zero deaths in weeks, yet our hospital is supposed to be over run yet has an empty parking lot.
People with Trump signs still have them displayed.

Communist Benton County OR, 20 min from OSU. Still have my Trump sign up. My buffer spring retaining pin launched itself into the twilight zone- need to order a new one. Rest are in functioning order. My 30 something daughters get all their truth from MSM. One is GOP voter. The other is a virtue signalling twit. This is all starting to look like Bosnia to me. Southern West Virginia here. All 55 counties in WV went for President Trump. Gains for new comer Republicans in both State House and Senate majority. Long time 30+ year State Treasurer John Perdue soundly defeated by newcomer. Cold, colder anger exist in area over the coup and attempted election steal.
However, Two faced Grubernor “Big” Jim Justice, supposedly President Trump’s friend, just caved to “How low will you go Joe’ Manchin and the Fauci mob and issued a mandatory mask mandate threatening businesses with loss of licenses, arrest by police if you refuse to leave for not wearing a mask, etc. “Gruber Obstruction of Justice”, even had the General of the National Guard issue a statement. This after people stood with him riding Trump’s coattails and won reelection big. Most sheeple support and follow this fearmongering China virus scam. Pitiful, that sheeple will give up liberty for false security. Cold, cold anger and disgust.

President Trump got about 800 votes to Biden’s 50 votes.
If this ratio is normal for Red Counties then our President should have won by a landslide larger than Reagan’s Reelection and that was 49 states.

I woke up today like I do every day and took a shit. Nobody I know gives a crap about Joe Biden or the left for that matter.
In my wee little rural community the the support for our President is huge. Our state went Republican and so did our county even through 28,000 votes were supposedly ‘lost’ in KY. I have not verified that.
I live in a small town just south of Nashville. I am not exactly certain what “mandates” are currently in place and it may not matter as most people around here are completely ignoring any sort of “mandates”. Few people wear masks anymore and most people are going about their lives as normal (old normal). This area is a virtually 100% Republican part of the Nashville area while Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin are more Democrat. Still, the majority of the entire Nashville area is definitely Republican with Trump signs and flags still up everywhere (I fly Trump + 2A flags). Most people around here will give a hardy middle finger at any attempts to shutdown or “mandate” anything. I don’t believe “mandates” are going to work in this area anymore. We did it for a while, people were not happy with it and it ended rather quickly. There are still signs on all of the businesses demanding that you wear a mask but I summarily ignore them as many others do as well. I don’t believe the socialist agendas are going to work out very well in this area either and if push comes to shove, we are all heavily armed around here and perfectly willing to utilize if necessary. Even if Biden does take office (I am not convinced he will) I believe we will be able to weather the storm here in Tennessee. If not, then my family and I are off to Wyoming. We will stay here and fight for as long as we can though. My close group of friends and neighbors all have organized plans and are organizing together as larger group. Combined we have enough resources to take pretty good care of ourselves for a while and enough arms and ammo to take on a small country (we have lots of retired LEO’s and veterans). For the moment, things are pretty calm, lazy and not much out of the normal. If that changes I think we will be ready.

Central Ohio and there are still allot of Trump signs and it does not look like many people have taken them down. I only see a handful of Biden signs still up though. I have a group of 12 high school buddies and we all voted for President Trump in 2016 and in 2020. We all think he is the best president in our lifetime. We all stopped watching FOX news and we all say the same thing. If the Republicans do not grow a pair and stand with President Trump. We will never vote for another Republican again, why bother?

Presently residing in Newport Beach, CA (Orange County). Just took dog for a walk in Crystal Cove state park beach here in Newport. Pretty day so fair amount of people walking and riding bikes along beach path. Would estimate 99% of the California SHEEPLE along the path wearing masks in the beautiful beach air and sunshine. My husband and I were almost the only ones not wearing the face diaper.

Born and raised in your area but came north. Very conservative area but most wearing masks. Most people I talk to are either 1) scared of getting it because they’re either elderly or have medical issues or 2) they want to be nice and not make a fuss. Most of these masks are filthy cuz they run around with them in their pockets.

Deep blue Kalamazoo Michigan here. That says it all. Our local paper mostly talks about how awful the virus is and how we must all just get used to not having freedom to visit friends or go places and must wear masks. Almost nothing about the vaccine despite Pfizer having local presence. General thrust is that be happy, don’t worry, just do what you are told and you really don’t need that pesky freedom stuff.
Paper had one article debunking the claims of dead people voting (well, technically they are right since the actual dead person is not who used the ballot) and a few articles about how wonderful that Biden will cure the disease and restore everything wonderful. Very little actual election coverage.

I am quarantining. My wife tested positive on Wednesday. No clue where she picked it up. Got results Friday morning. My wife’s symptoms were mild congestion, sweating with mild fever, lots of fatigue, burning facial pain, cloudy thinking, a few possible hallucinations versus memory problems. She was better yesterday, pretty much back to normal today.
I got tested Friday, waiting for results tommorrow. I worked from home Friday, kids at home (they have been full time in school since the beginning of the school year. As a health care provider I can go back to work after 10 days of being asymptomatic. I haven’t had symptoms but presume I’ve been exposed. In any case my wife is keeping to herself in our bedroom and I’m in the guest bedroom and keeping the kids occupied. If my test comes back positive then we can go back to normal in our house in the meantime. If I don’t test positive then I guess we keep this up for another week or so. I am hoping that I have been exposed and just asymptomatic as that will then make everything easier in the future.
I’m a radiologist so I can work from home for the most part. One of my colleagues will take over image guided procedures for me in the mean time. We have definitely seen an increase in cases over the last 2 weeks, really this past week. Our tertiary care hospitals in St. Louis are at capacity. It does seem however that the severity of disease that I have been observing is in general less severe than in April, May and June. Not sure if that’s due to change in the virus, lower levels of initial inoculation as people are more careful or better treatment (although our advances in treatment are mainly on the more critical end of the spectrum).
As far as the election. Most people I know feel Trump won. Living as we do in Southern Illinois, most have no illusions about election fraud. Chicago (and little cousin Springfield) controls everything.
Finally with regard to the deplatforming, I have expected this for awhile. Any centralized site will remain at risk. Although we are a huge community, we are dependent on this site. The strength of our position is in our widespread distribution throughout the country as well locally with our communities. I hope the CTH survives, but it would be great if we could diversify it to include a more grass roots component with local groups or at least some local communication as a backup. The web was initially designed to be decentralized and robust to the take down of central nodes. We need to operate similarly. If anyone is in the St. Louis area I’d like to make some connections.
How’d that test go, doc? No hard feelins’ if you don’t wish to disclose your HIPPA protected information, lol. But, I will pray for you & your family. My daughter & son-in-law just finished quarantine after a positive test & mild stay-at-home illness, so they have had to rely on others to deliver their groceries, etc. They live in O’Fallon, IL.
I have been saving the hospital reports showing positivity in-patient numbers, ICU, vents at our hospital since March. This second wave is curving upward compared to the low straight trajectory of the previous “swell.” And this past weekend we had a couple of unexpected rapid responses, codes, transfer to STL hospital for complications beyond venting. Our inpt # are higher than any that I remember from Apr, May, Jun.
My worry is that we have maxed out the CC nurses & the vented covid patients have spilled over to the stepdown unit. This is just three weeks in. I don’t remember how the numbers ballooned last time. In the spring, covid numbers seemed pretty steady once we peaked.

Here in the Belly of the Beast (Kalifornistan) the Central Valley it is too quiet. While having dental work done my dentist said ‘we are going to need to batten down the hatches, better yet if we can..move’. He predicts that the stock market will crash within weeks of Biden’s coronation this will cause huge problems with banking brought on by a country wide lockdown. This will cause a housing crash and these forces are so large there will be little the average American can do. This man is not a crack pot..he holds masters in periodontal dentistry, engineering and theology. My children who were self employed have already moved to Nebraska, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. I would follow them but my Hubby’s myriad serious health issues would be a problem. It’s like being in a war zone, you can hear the shelling but. you don’t know which way to run. I do think, we will eventually have to move to the center of the country and that makes me sad because I*’m 74 years old and was born here and I miss what it used to be.

For the last few months San Francisco has had an EXODUS of people leaving due to the Homeless, Communism, Fecal Matter on the Streets, etc. I have personally seen neighbors here MOVE OUT OF San Francisco. Also it is a fact that more than 54% of all small businesses have closed and a majority maybe closed FOREVER.
So how with an EXODUS of people leaving San Francisco, can the number of votes cast in San Francisco for the 2020 Election almost two weeks ago have 449,318 votes cast when in 2016, there was a turn out of 414,528 votes cast?
How can there have been an INCREASE OF 34,790 votes cast compared to 2016 when people weren’t leaving in droves?

Mountains of Ga – my community still has all the Trump signs in their yard and even people flying big Trump flags on their trucks. But the local, weekly newspaper are only putting liberal, democratic supporter letters to the editor. I sent in 2 letters and neither were published. All the letters to the editor are for Trump conceding, Biden won etc. but the people obviously don’t feel that way.
Coweta GA here: Everyone is angry, solidly TRUMP one sees yard signs everywhere and, being only minutes from Fulton (Atlanta), we are for the most part remaining MUTE, holding our breath concerning the runoff election Jan 5th! As far as the virus is concerned it’s pretty much “business as usual”!
