Well, it appears the reports from the Facebook PR control meeting with “conservative” punditry delivered the predictable outcomes.  The essential issue with the nonsensical meeting was abundantly evident before the thing even began.
Facebook called the meeting because they viewed the insider releases as a PR crisis, not as an opportunity to admit their deception and provide an explanation as to how they were going to improve.

As a consequence the entire meeting premise was targeted to give the appearance of concern, while their internal goals were PR optics only.  Obviously, almost all the attendees did not, or could not, see their roles as useful tools.

However, perhaps the worst of them all was Glenn Beck, the cheeto-faced doofus still wounded over his inability to nominate Ted Cruz, who flew on his private plane to the land of Zuckerberg and like a smitten school-boy tries to tell the world how wonderfully progressive the social media empire is.
