Late last night the House of Representatives voted upon the version of the Continuing Resolution bill which they originally sent to the Senate, which the Senate then returned back to the House with the Obamacare defunding mechanism stripped.
The House held two vote counts – adding two amendments to the returned Senate Version.
One amendment stripped out the Medical device tax. That amendment passed 248-174 with 17 Democrats supporting it.
The Second amendment was more controversial. It contained a provision to delay the implementation of Obamacare for One Year. That amendment passed 231-192 with 2 Democrats supporting it.
Having no further business the House adjourned until Monday at 10:00am.
