The main challenge of the next four years will be to keep the constitution intact. Nothing else really matters. Obamacare and John Roberts gave the Communist, Socialist, Progressives, the roadmap on it’s dimantling. Now there is precedent. Looks like it really is George Bush’s fault. I cite. Patriot Act, TSA, DHS, John Roberts.
I believe Obama came into the picture with the plan of utterly destroying the Constitution; he only enlisted a few like-minded to assist in the process. He was trained in and a lecturer on Constitutional Law just as I, as an Army Combat Engineer, was trained in and taught bridge design. Neither of us were trained or trained others on how to use or improve them we were both taught so that we could destroy them. Nothing in his murky background even suggest that he has any other interests in the Constitution other than to pervert it, use it to destroy this country as it exists and then drop it into the Oval Office shredder. I’m betting that the POtuS sees himself not as an American but as an American-African who’s at the helm of the worldwide effort to establish a corrupt New World Order. Much as the Soviet Union became the private spa of the Soviet elite he and his pseudo-socialists will try to establish a population base that has enough to survive on while he and his gorge like pigs at the international trough. He reminds me of a cross between Trotsky and Idi Amin – but with better table manners than the latter.

We need to think clearly about all this. Rush was touching on it the other day. He mentioned the fact that the “Asset Wealthy” are untouched by all this legislation. Only those who work and labor for money are hit. In a totalitarian state it is the little guy, the so called middle class, who actually work that are hit. The assets of the elite party members are untouched and grow as the same time those who actually work are re-distributed. Thus the progressive “income” tax. How cruel. Obama is getting a nice Dacha in Hawaii by the way. He flies back and forth at 7 million a pop in his private 747.
That seems to be something that the average guy doesn’t understand. The government doesn’t tax you on what you consume (other than state sales taxes) or what you own (except at death), only on what you earn in a given year.

We are currently in the 113th Congress. He has brought it up at the beginning of every Congress since the 106th. Every time with no co-sponsors. It is highly unexpected to make it out of committee this time.

Brits who stayed in the GB complex seem to have a genetic predisposition towards being led rather than leading. Here the Constitution enumerates the powers the people give the state while in Britain what passes as a Constitution enumerates what powers the state grudgingly lets the people use as long as it’s convenient. The hue and cry from the Brit gentry and the power brokers killed that baby in the cradle. Some Brits, like the massholes, migrate here for their own personal self-centered reasons, but can’t shake that inbred need to be ordered about. They want to have their figgy pudding and eat it too. Howie, sometimes we do what we must in order to get results. What a wonderful world it would be if all of our elected representatives followed the Constitution at all times, but they don’t. Surely you realize this? That is why political protest has been popular for centuries, and why lobbyists are so numerous.
They are supposed to. I realize they do not. In fact they are trying to get rid of it. 2nd must be 1st. Then 4th, 14th, 5th, 1st, 22nd, and on and on. All that will be left is the welfare clause.
Here’s what some locals are doing. They’re holding a meeting Tuesday night in my shop. Some of the plans are to ask for a meeting with our congressman and senators, demand they go on the attack and change the talk, use every tactic in the book to block any vote. That just voting against it is not enough. Taking up a collection to run ads against them if they don’t and put up our own candidates to run against them and let them know what we will do. A paper petition that already has over 300 signatures on it from our district.
I just had it brought to my attention and the meeting hasn’t taken place yet, but it’s a start.
She forgot the petition, so I’m not sure what it says.
Will it do any good? Will there be enough to get their attention? I don’t know, but it’s a start and like I told her even if nothing comes from at least we can feel like we’re doing something. I hope if nothing else a few of them will get the message just showing up and casting a vote or saying you’re for or against something is not going to be enough anymore. That does us no good while our rights are being stripped away and our country is burning down around us.
The T-Party must rise again. Now is the time. Time to get back in the streets. Screw the RINO’S. Or are we the RINO’S?
I don’t know if they’re calling themselves anything. It was brought to me and asked if they could use my shop and if I’d help.
So maybe this is what it will take small groups of us that will grow to large groups of us.
I’m scared, truly scared, it doesn’t take conspiracy theories to see that the government is determined to strip us of our rights and it doesn’t take conspiracy theories to see there are a lot of people determined they won’t be stripped of their rights.
I see a lot of Ruby Ridges in our near future.
I meant to add, so maybe we’ll have enough small groups to pressure their reps into stepping up and doing something and stopping it, I don’t see much hope other than giving it the old college try with the idiots in Washington and maybe some push back from the state governments.

I have sent him several e-mails and was at least glad to get a response. I think the way to win this battle is to force a constitutional fight. Force Obama to call for actual repeal of the 2nd amendment.
