A few days ago on the open thread someone posted something about Glenn Beck.  I replied.  Some were caught off guard by my response.   Little did I know he would cue up a nice little audio visual demonstration to validate my retort……

(Mediaite) Glenn Beck has made no secret of how much he dislikes Newt Gingrich– not even to Newt Gingrich’s face. But he has yet to confront his supporters until last night, when he reasoned to Freedom Watch host Judge Andrew Napolitano that there was very little difference between Gingrich and President Barack Obama– so much so that the only possible explanation for Tea Partiers rallying around Gingrich is “Obama’s race.”

“If you have a big government progressive, or a big government progressive in Obama… ask yourself this, Tea Party: is it about Obama’s race? Because that’s what it appears to be to me. If you’re against him but you’re for this guy, it must be about race. I mean, what else is it? It’s the policies that matter.”  (video)

Really Glenn, really?   So, according to Glenn Beck there is no difference between Newt Gingrich and Barack Obama other than the color of their skin.   Really?  And If you don’t agree with that you are RACIST?….

Gotta….. Catch…… That…… Rabbit…..

This is where the stupidity part of GB comes into play.   There is NO moderation, he goes from 0 to lightspeed instantaneously, and can be the human wrecking ball.  When the door of his mind opens like a greyhound he will chase that rabbit paying ZERO attention to his surroundings while he chases that rabbit with steadfast determination.   Gotta.Catch.That.Rabbit………. Gotta.Catch.That.Rabbit……….
Then when he finally pins the rabbit in the corner, something clicks, he looks around, and realizes he has just trashed and destroyed the entire house while chasing that rabbit.
He collapses in place and begins to sob uncontrollably, begging for forgiveness.

*The rabbit looks at him puzzled, then quickly jumps out the window while thinking, “sheeesh, that guy is nuts”…….  (So many people watched that play out over and over it grew tiresome). 

And now his rabbit will be Gingrich for a while.   In his weird view he sees this as normal.
Glenn Beck actually states that Newt Gingrich and Barack Obama are of the same ideologically driven mindset.    Let that sink in for a minute.
And if you don’t agree, YOU ARE RACIST.    Let that sink in for a minute.
Really.
