Losing Anthony Weiner’s seat to a horrid, vile, nasty ((shudder)) Republican, oh my, has the Democrat Leadership way, way, waaaay back on their heels.    Not only is this a major setback for liberalism, but it is also a set back for any possibility of Obama “leverage” on his jobs bill.

Important action needed.   As conservatives we have a tendency to identify a victory and then quietly move along deeming manners as the most appropriate element in winning.   We do not want to see, nor do we like seeing, our team celebrating on the field while the other team sits on the bench in utter demoralized defeat.   So, we expect the victorious to settle down and begin the handshake line of conciliation and “good game” verbage quickly.     However, Democrats DO NOT take this approach.
Democrats will jubilantly parade on the field until the lights are going to be turned off.  They will boast, brag, and carry on with demoralizing ridicule of their opponent for days, sometimes weeks.   The media sell their victory as an example of the magnificent ideological majority in an endless loop of pro-democrat talking points until they are absolutely certain it has reached every tv set in the nation.   Just look at how many days they talked up New York district 26 and called it a referendum on diminishing the Ryan Plan (budget proposal).   Full on bat sh!t celebrations from coast to coast and carried by every media outlet 24/7 for days and days.
Well it’s time to give them a little taste of their own medicine.   Whenever anyone tries to sell you on an ideological democrat talking point.   Just say, well how did “NY#9 work for ya”?  and all other variations of putting the outcome of NY9 into the narrative.   “NY-9 just the beginning”,  “NY-9 Home of Obama’s Chickens”…. etc.  etc.   Give them a good taste of their own medicine.
This is not some arbitrary ‘poke em in the eye’ for the sake of poking them in the eye kind of celebratory stuff.   This approach actually has a specific intention.   It serves to remind the liberal progressives that we are in the majority and we are not going to stand for this nonsense any longer.   It also serves the practical purpose of diminishing their efforts at any measure toward further progressive liberalisation in legislation.    Ridicule via this defeat can be used to kill the ridiculous Obama Jobs Bill also.   This is why we should excessively celebrate and “use” this victory to accomplish things we could not accomplish without a point of pushback reference.
This defeat was real.   It cannot be ignored.   It did actually occur and he media despite their efforts cannot hide it from visibility.
