    • Really sad…PD, I think you mentioned this in the open earlier? This is so heartbreaking to see people at this stage. We all know what it means.

For me it’s like looking at my Dad all over again…prayers for Steve and his family. The company he built is an amazing testimony to American innovation.

This is so sad. I’ve been an avid Apple/Mac user for 22 years and love everything he did for the company. He brought Apple back from the brink of bankruptcy and turned it into one of the greatest success stories of the modern tech age.
One of the biggest thrills for us Macaddicts has always been the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco. That’s when Steve would always unveil the newest Mac ‘miracle’ product and everybody around the globe would go absolutely ape, and couldn’t wait to get their hands on it. It’s not going to be the same without him.
    Thanks for everything, Steve.

He also played a part in saving Disney too…by working with our new CEO and allowing Disney to purchase Pixar, it basically put us back on top.

God heavens. What’s wrong with him? Cancer? I haven’t spent any effort to keep up on him. I just thought he was one of those looney geniuses who liked to stay to himself and invent stuff, so I ignored him and all the press releases that twitterpated about him if and when he showed in public.
