The media in the western world would have us believe that the Egyptian military is a conduit to a “Democratic” Egypt. But that is NOT the case. The military in Egypt has been the central branch of economic power for decades. They are a self-serving entity of omnipotent power, and the receivers of billions of dollars in U.S. aid and funding for almost 40 years. During the uprising in Egypt the media claimed the Egyptian Military was an arbitrary altruistic endeavor, protecting the ‘people’ of Egypt from a ruthless dictator. Yet no one seemed to ever ask how the allegiance of said military was able to switch directions so fast from supporter of all things Mubarak to his adversary and proponent of the democratic citizenry.

This seemingly obvious question was just ignored by every media outlet. Once the popularity of the story faded from the 24-hour newsrooms, and attentions were turned elsewhere, it appears no one is actually looking at Egypt to see what the outcome is becoming for such an unusual coup. Well, allow me to present this update for your consideration. You decide for yourself whether the Military Control over Egypt is actually a positive outcome.

An ominous news report from Egypt, the arrest, conviction, and sentencing of Egyptian activist Amr Abdallah Elbihiry, 33. Elbihiry was sentenced to five years in prison by Egypt’s Supreme Military Court on Wednesday, four days after he was arrested by the military police at a peaceful sit-in. Al Jazeera:

The arrest and sentencing of Amr Abdallah Elbihiry, 33, an Egyptian activist, has sparked outrage among pro-democracy activists and human rights groups in Egypt.

Elbihiry was convicted and sentenced to five years in military prison on Wednesday by Egypt’s Supreme Military Court, after being charged with assaulting a public official on duty and for breaking curfew.

Elbihiry was arrested during the early hours of Saturday morning, in front of the Council of Ministers headquarters, at a peaceful demonstration demanding the resignation of Ahmed Shafiq, the interim prime minister.

He was one of a group of protesters that took part in a peaceful sit-in, which was violently dispersed by the Egyptian armed forces, and military police. Protesters were reportedly beaten with sticks, others with electric shock batons.

The very same Egyptian military who, after the protests began in Egypt on January 25th, played–very well–the part of the protesters’ ‘protectors’ against the Egyptian state police. In some news reports, the military handed out water bottles and gave away candy to protesters.   (read more)

At least that is the way the media played up the story…… “Freedom Square” right?  “Freedom,”  that is the picture the media would have us believe.  Yet it just doesn’t reconcile with this arrest, conviction and detention, does it?   Also, why haven’t you heard about the Egyptian Military entering Libya to attack Quackdaffy’s army?    What’s that you say…..?  Having a *Whiskey*Tango*Foxtrot* moment?…..  Read on…….

Also reported in the news, Egyptian military special forces are in Libya, backing the rebels fighting Gaddafi.

Egyptian special forces have been secretly entering Libya to back the rebellion against Moammar Gaddafi, the Mirror newspaper reported on Thursday. The elite troops moved in as the Libyan leader vowed to die in Libya.

The British newspaper reported that Egyptian troops have been allowed into Libya by Tunisian soldiers – as a sign of increasing Arab support to the anti-Gaddafi uprising. (read more)

Just doesn’t reconcile with the narrative the media is feeding us does it?  Funny that….  Then again, really not so funny….  More like Alarming. !   /SD

Read on…..  please !

Isaiah 19
A Prophecy Against Egypt
1 A prophecy against Egypt:
See, the LORD rides on a swift cloud
and is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear.
2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—
brother will fight against brother,
neighbor against neighbor,
city against city,
kingdom against kingdom.
3 The Egyptians will lose heart,
and I will bring their plans to nothing;
they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead,
the mediums and the spiritists.
4 I will hand the Egyptians over
to the power of a cruel master,
and a fierce king will rule over them,”
declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty…….

The Mubarak dictatorship has crumbled, the Muslim Brotherhood has announced that regimes will fall all over the Middle East and the radical left in America and internationally is cheering them on. (Of course). The unholy alliance between the radical secular left and the forces of the Islamic jihad was forged a long time ago in the crucial of the Palestinian Islamic jihad against Israel and the West. Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood as are the Muslim Students Association, CAIR and every major Muslim organization in America. The MSA and the pro-Palestinian left was part of the coalition of radical organizations that defended the Saddam regime during the lead up to the Iraq war and was on the steering committee of the International Answer demonstrations. Yassir Arafat was one of Saddam’s leading cheerleaders when Iraq tried to swallow Kuwait, triggering the first Gulf War. The roots of the alliance we see shaping up in the Egyptian struggle are deep.

We saw the unholy alliance at work in the Hamas-inspired campaign to break the Gaza blockade. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn were leaders of the American wing of the Hamas coalition against the blockade and went to Gaza to meet with Hamas shortly before the terrorist Flotilla was intercepted by Israeli forces. The Gaza blockade was jointly instituted by Israel and Egypt – by the Mubarak regime in Egypt.  (Mubarak had outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood after they attempted to asassinate him).  Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood’s army. If the Muslim Brotherhood replaces the Mubarak regime, Hamas’s war against the Jews will be immeasureably strengthened.   The radical left in America and internationally is committed to Hamas and its genocidal campaign against the Jews and its general war against the United States. That is why the fate of Egypt in this crisis resonates for all of us.

And if the snake Mohammed ElBaradei forms a national unity government with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Brotherhood will be the new government of Egypt.  Perhaps that is why we are seeing Egyptian Tanks moving into Libya to support the removal of Quackdaffy.   The Egyptian army may now be influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood and their ‘more than likely’ rise to power.   The military leaders either have to commit to following the Brotherhoods’ agenda, or face the possibility of removal at the hands of Radical Islamists.   Remember this is not a ‘western democracy’, this is an opportunistic power move created by a vacumn in leadership from Mubarak’s removal, and Islamists control the most significant percentages of the Egyptian population.

But why would a Muslim Brotherhood influenced Egyptian military move in to support the anti-Kadaffi resistance group?   Well you have to consider it was recently announced that Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, Libya’s former Justice Minister, has formed a new transitional government in Benghazi.   Of course, it is good that someone is stepping up to the plate to take over Libya, since that may prevent the country from erupting into civil war.  But, depending on who takes over Libya once Muammar Quackdaffy is finally removed from power after ruling Libya with an iron fist for 42 years, Libya may go from bad to worse. Both for the welfare of the people of Libya and the peace and stability of the rest of the world, starting in Europe.

Above I have outlined, with specific notations, my suspicion  that Egypt will become an Islamic republic, like Iran, in the not-distant future.   Judging by the picture of Abdel-Jalil, I suspect the same terrible fate may await Libya.

Why do I say that?   Sometimes the simplist answers are right in front of your face.  Take a close look at his picture of Mustaffa Abdel-Jalil.

Mustaffa Abdel-Jalil

Do you see anything interesting? If not, look at the following picture of Ayman al-Zawahiri, al Qaeda’s second banana, and see if you can see anything in common.

Ayman Al-Zawahiri

OK, if you said that they are both wearing silly headgear, you would be partially correct. But, what is more telling is the dark spot on their foreheads.  That is known as a “prayer bump” or zebiba.   Perhaps you would consider it a mark of the Islamist. Devout Muslims get it by banging their heads on the ground 5 times per day.   It is actually a considerable “mark of pride.”  After all, the word Islam means “submission” in Arabic.

The Basics of the Muslim’s Prayer, 1st Edition, 1423-2002″ states:

The Sujiud (Prostration): It is obligatory to go down to the floor and prostrate by pressing your bare forehead, and putting your palms, knees, and pads of the toes on the floor. Both feet are kept vertical with the heels up and the toepads down touching the floor. Stay still in this position for at least the time it takes to say subhanallah (figure-5-).

This is accompanied by the following drawing:

The media is basically ignoring any investigative Mid-East journalism, in part because of the cultural challenge, and in part because of fear, and in part because they are complicit in the eventuality.   Therefore it is almost impossible to ascertain if Abdel-Jalil is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.   However, there is no doubt that he is a very pious Muslim. This probably means that his beliefs echo those of the Muslim Brotherhood, and that he wants to see Sharia law instituted, rather than a secular democracy.  At the very least, given his Islamic devotion, he would not be opposed to Sharia.   (Remember, Islam and democracy are mutually exclusive.)

As brutal and insane as Quackdaffy is, he was, basically, a secularist.  Specifically, he was a Communist radical, just like Castro and Hugo Chavez;  And, like both of those demons did to their countries, he succeeded in turning Libya into a fascist Hell hole. (*note* While essentially a secularist, it is interesting that Quackdaffy named his daughter Aisha.   Aisha was Mohammad’s favorite wife.  Mohammad married her when she was 6 and he was in his 50s′;  he waited until she was 9 to consummate the marriage.)

Already, in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood is making its considerably ominous inroads. Not only have they formed a party to run in any elections, but Egyptian Muslims are feeling more empowered to attack Christians.   It now looks like Libya will go from a Communistic fascist regime to an Islamo-fascist regime.    Setting the stage for many more countries in the area to fall into a similar trap.

That’s the way I see it.  What say you ?
