Wow.  Earlier this morning House Speaker Paul Ryan announced his confidence that a $1.1 TRILLION Omnibus spending bill will pass prior to December 11th – See Here.

WASHINGTON DC – Lawmakers are on track to clear a massive transportation infrastructure bill as soon as this week, a legislative coup a decade in the making that will give new House Speaker Paul Ryan something to crow about.

Negotiators from both chambers of Congress tasked with hashing out a final deal are set to announce an agreement Tuesday afternoon after a majority of conferees signed off on the package, setting the stage for the mammoth deal to move through the House and Senate this week, ahead of this Friday’s deadline. As expected, the bill also includes a provision to revive the Export-Import Bank, an export-promoting agency that expired last summer amid attacks from conservatives who said it provides corporate welfare and promotes crony capitalism. (Via Fox News) As the number of classified Hillary Clinton emails grew to nearly 1,000, they also reveal how freely she and her staff shared information on the Benghazi attacks, including confirming the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens – and even celebrating her controversial hearing appearance where she asked, “What difference, at this point, does it make” what led to the attacks.

According to a new CNN report Chicago Mayor Rham Emanuel has fired the police chief in the wake of the Laquan McDonald shooting and community outrage over the length of time it took the police department to act to the shooting.

(CNN) Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Tuesday that he has asked for the resignation of Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy.

The announcement at a news conference came amid angry protests in Chicago over the way the city responded when a white police officer shot a black teenager 16 times in October 2014. Dashboard camera footage of Laquan McDonald’s killing was not released until last week after a judge ordered it be made public.

“Superintendent McCarthy knows that a police officer is only as effective as when he has the trust of those he serves,” said Emanuel, speaking at City Hall. (more…)

This is interesting.  Mike M via twitter notices a Page Six story from September 2001 disappears from the New York Post.

On September 14th 2001 the New York Post ran an article (Op-Ed) with the headline: “The Issue Is Radical Islam“.  Within the article you find the following paragraph(s) [emphasis added]:

Obama knew inherently that he alone was vastly more important than all other speakers, and he was intent on expressing his magnanimity so the participants could all benefit from his brilliance.

After several excess minutes the horrible event organizers began breaking into the worlds most magnificent words with a buzzer in a vein attempt to end his oration. However, Dear Leader battled through their noise and kept everyone transfixed with his intensely wonderful reading. Obama knew the international audience wanted to hear his opinion much more than all those lesser officials.
