(h/t JRD)…Anyone have any ideas on what to make of this? I can’t find anything more about it yet, nor do I recall him mentioning it on the radio this morning. There’s nothing up at glennbeck.com either. I do find it interesting that Big Journalism Editor Dana Loesch will be introducing Gov. Palin.

Shortly after noon yesterday, the big “One Nation” bus rolled up to Ronald Reagan’s boyhood home in Dixon, Illinois. Reagan would have turned 100 this year, and were he still alive, I believe he would have adored Sarah Palin’s convictions, her faith, and her love for our country. It’s actually quite sad to think that this state, once known for giving us men like Lincoln and Reagan, can today be noted more for Chicago-style politics and President Food Stamps. Reagan once said, when asked about his alma mater Eureka College, “The most valuable lesson I learned at Eureka is that every individual makes a difference.” I think this is a statement Sarah Palin has taken well to heart, believing she is an instrument God is using to give us a choice. America…we must choose well in 2012, as it may be our last. (more…)

“Unlike next week’s Obama Bus Tour, taxpayers aren’t funding our tour, which is why we so appreciate your support in allowing us to be out there on the open road to visit with you to highlight small towns, big-hearted people, and the important role they play in our most exceptional nation.”

Many insiders are quickly coming to the collective recognition that Sarah Palin will not be running. Therefore, will her appearance in Iowa be merely a PR campaign to gain more $$$ for SarahPac and her support of other worthy candidates? How does one reconcile the belief in a noble and altruistic Palin with the fact that her actions might be more about fundraising rather than those of pure altruism? Her “Iowa Tour Bus” might be a huge mistake if it is seen by many Iowans as stealing the spotlight from candidates who have already invested heavily in their ground games. (more…)

(People)…Sarah Palin has become a grandmother for the second time, according to reporter Joe McGinniss, who is writing a book on the former vice presidential candidate.
Palin’s eldest son, Track, and his wife, Britta, welcomed a baby girl named Kyla Grace Palin on Sunday night, reports McGinniss, who moved next door to the Palins’s Alaska home in 2010 to gain better access to the family.
In May, it was announced that the high school sweethearts were married. The Palin family never officially confirmed Britta’s pregnancy, though pictures of her baby shower surfaced on Facebook. (more…)
Hat Tip Gracie & TNWAHM In the coming days we’ll sort through the repercussions of S&P’s downgrade of our credit rating, including concerns about the impact a potential interest rate increase would have on our ability to service our suffocating $14.5 trillion debt.
I’m surprised that so many people seem surprised by S&P’s decision. Weren’t people paying attention over the last year or so when we were getting warning after warning from various credit rating agencies that this was coming? I’ve been writing and speaking about it myself for quite some time. (more…)
American Thinker – Lloyd Marcus)…Sarah Palin’s latest “in your face” to the Obama administration in defense of the Tea Party is guaranteed to infuriate the left and terrify the timid on our side. Sarah said, “If we were real domestic terrorists, shoot, Obama would want to pal around with us, wouldn’t he?”Wow! I loooooooove this woman!

Gee, no wonder no-one believes in polls… (Briefing Room) — More than half of Americans think the press has been either too easy or else fair in its coverage of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), a new poll said Thursday.
A combined 54 percent of U.S. adults said the press had been too easy or had been fair toward Palin, according to a new Pew Research Center poll. Thirty-two percent said the press has been fair, and 22 percent say the press has been too easy on Palin, the potential GOP presidential candidate. (more…)
