Pant Suits: “We’re Doing Everything Militarily to Help the Libyan Rebels Win, But We Have No Idea Who They Are”……

There’s actually a debate in this country — and in our government’s leadership — about whether we should arm the barbarians who attacked us on 9/11.

Just sit for a moment and let that fact sink in. (more…)

Yemen: Al-Qaeda Seizes Control of Southern Province, Declares it an “Islamic Emirate”…

Very Bad News especially for Saudi Arabia (the immediate neighbor)…. Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has declared Yemen’s Abyan province an “Islamic Emirate” and banned women from going outside, according to Eurasia Review and accounts from Yemeni journalists. AQAP, which has established full control over the southern province, made an online statement Wednesday declaring Abyan an Islamic Emirate governed by Shariah. The statement said women in the province should not go out except under necessary circumstances, “and she who urgently needs to go out, should be with one of her male relatives, and should have ID with her.” (more…)

NATO Now Threatening to Bomb Libyan Rebels…

Yeah, you read that headline right. Everything Obama touches ends up bass ackwards so why would a war be any different. This is what happens when you give an aircraft carrier to a community organizer.  It appears those “poor professionals”, you know the “doctors, lawyers, ‘n such” are targeting women and children for annihilation. Sound like Al-Qaeda? or radical Islamists? Nah, couldn’t be, right. *sigh* Get us the heck outta there now ! (more…)

Turkish Prime Minister strongly against arming Libyan rebels:
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister, has said he does not support the idea of arming Libyan rebels fighting to oust Muammar Gaddafi from power.  Speaking at a joint news conference with David Cameron, the British prime minister, in London, Erdogan said: “Doing that would create a different situation in Libya and we do not find it appropriate to do that.”    Erdogan also said that that sending weapons to Libya could feed terrorism, saying such weapons shipments “could also create an environment which could be conducive to terrorism”. O.B.A.M.A – authorizes secret help for Libya rebels

Unfortunately, I don’t have any confidence this will not be a huge mistake.  Quite simply because Obama and his entire crew are massively incompetent.   Their decisions have major unintended consequences that always seem to backfire.  With that in mind, this is troubling…..   (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, government officials told Reuters on Wednesday.   Obama signed the order, known as a presidential “finding”, within the last two or three weeks, according to government sources familiar with the matter. Such findings are a principal form of presidential directive used to authorize secret operations by the Central Intelligence Agency. This is a necessary legal step before such action can take place but does not mean that it will. (more…)

al-Qaeda Arabian Peninsula Urges US Sympathizers to Attack Malls, Nightclubs

But Congressman Peter King is a “racist, bigot and Islamophobe” for holding hearings into this threat. (Please Read) Question: As-Salâm ‘Alaykum. I live in the West and greatly desire hijrah to the lands of jihad such as Afghanistan or Yemen. I have the money ready and have an idea of where to go…

RESPONSE: ….. What we recommend is that you focus on planning out attacks in the West …. Similarly, the mujahidin leadership are today asking the brothers in the West specifically to attack Western interests in the West instead of coming here to Yemen for example. … (more…)

Evidence Mounting that Libyan Rebels are Jihadists and al-Qaeda

OK you guess. Is this? a.) A Doctor b.) A Lawyer c.) An Accountant or d.) A Jihadist

Wait, I thought they were all Doctors, Lawyers, Professionals and stuff……  (Washington Times)A former leader of Libya’s al Qaeda affiliate says he thinks “freelance jihadists” have joined the rebel forces, as NATO’s commander told Congress on Tuesday that intelligence indicates some al Qaeda and Hezbollah terrorists are fighting Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s forces.  Former jihadist Noman Benotman, who renounced his al Qaedaaffiliation in 2000, said in an interview that he estimates 1,000 jihadists are in Libya.   (more…)

Egypt: Armed Clashes Break Out After Salafi Muslims Attempt to Impose Strict Sharia Law — One Killed, 8 Wounded…

At least the press is picking up the story, unfortunately this is just another example of where things are headed…..  CAIRO (AP) — Members of an ultraconservative Muslim sect clashed with villagers south of Cairo over demands that a liquor store and coffee shops be closed, officials said Tuesday, a sign of the increasing assertiveness of the fundamentalist Salafi movement. One villager was killed and eight others were injured in the armed clashes, which erupted late Monday in the village of Kasr el-Bassil in Fayoum province, a security official said. (more…)

Obama and Rice – discuss “arming rebels”…. are they that stupid they don’t know about the ‘UN Arms Embargo’

The amateurism in the administration is beyond ridiculous and incompetent it borders on insane.  INSANE...   (MSNBC)- President Barack Obama predicted Tuesday that continued military and diplomatic pressure will force Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi to “ultimately step down.” In an interview with NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams a day after he addressed the nation to explain his Libya policy , Obama refused to rule out providing direct U.S. military assistance to the rebels fighting Gadhafi’s government. But he said that was unlikely and that his comments shouldn’t be interpreted as signaling wider U.S. intervention in the region. (more…)
