Many are saying “Trump coulda or shoulda” or “If Trump woulda” comments. What spare energy or priorities did you see him wasting at any point in this presidential term? Who do you want as president instead of Donald Trump? Are you supporting the MAGA/constitutional platform or tearing it down? Or weakening it by criticizing and undermining the president?
Every conservative person giving negative comments toward Donald Trump needs to do a quick and thorough self assessment of their own character, their own work ethic, their own commitment to this country and to this president. Ask yourself, what projects or activities am I doing myself that are bringing this country in line with the principles of our Creator and the constitution of this republic?
Let us quit worrying about our reputation and be like Marco Rubio — support the man and lay down your life daily alongside him — first for the Lord, then for this great Nation that God has blessed us with through the sacrifice of others.
None of the negative armchair quarterbacks can name one person who could have accomplished what Donald Trump has — at any level. That is not emotion driven speculation — that is reasoned tabulation and reviewing data constantly
Our government is a constitutional republic. We the People have the power. We are not using it. I daresay none of us are using our power and resources for the sake of this country like Donald Trump is.
The signers of the Declaration pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor for this country. Which one of us here wants to step forward and show a greater commitment to this country by those measures — than Donald J Trump?
I still say our president fights harder and more consistently and tirelessly against 10 times more resistance than any other president. — to a miraculous degree.
If each of us in the 81+ million conservative population of this nation will give one tenth of the effort they spend criticizing him, and put that effort toward supporting MAGA and President Trump — with a willingness to respond to the pushback, then we will have unstoppable growth, morale, and productivity in this nation.

Gas, food, and home prices are constantly in the faces of many voters and they are straining their quality of life. It is difficult to divert their attention to a discussion of exigent circumstances centered in far away places and statistics supporting an improving USA economy.
Their focus is on the “here and now” and “individual/family finances.”
Successfully influencing a nearsighted voter’s mindset is the objective of GOP messaging, and it is highly likely that PDJT is the only person who can do it.
The President gives his all so that all Americans may have more.
The average voter is stupid and will vote for the liars that caused the problems, then point the problems out, but blame someone else, but never offers any solutions for the problems they created. How do you change that?
Many voters are just plain lazy and won’t bother to research candidates to find out where they actually stand on the issues of the day. They rely on far-left lying news outlets to fill their heads with propaganda and garbage generated by the Socialist Party bosses! And that’s where we are today!
Even worse are the ones that listen to the lies of campaign ads.
You would first need to delete the Trump-hating media, replace it with a “media” that would broadcast the truth…
I am just trying to get people to see not voting is a bad idea. It’s the right that has this idea that not voting will change something. It will, we will become a repressive communist nation under sharia law. These people already don’t listen to the media they are bitter conservatives because everything did work out their way. I didn’t vote for a Republican or Democrat from my first election, Ford vs Carter until Trump’s third run when I voted for Trump. I had always voted 3rd party or independent as a protest vote over such rotten candidates. What did I change doing that? Nothing.

Yes, Conservatives would see it on a very few Conservative outlets, (a classic example of “preaching to the choir”), but those that stay glued to CNN, MSNBC, etc.. would never see nor hear it.
Great question, yes, I think a message like that would be effective;
it is in line with a speech in 2016, think it was the next to last campaign rally then candidate Trump spoke at where he used plain truth speaking as to what the nation was up against and even though already having decided to vote for our upstate candidate Trump recognized at that moment, in that speech, that he knew exactly what internal and by extension of that external, dangers our nation was facing and that as President he would be in position to attend to those matters.
so yes, I do believe a message like that, if spoken without the razzle dazzle these latest rallies are wrapped in, would be very effective.

It’s not just food or not just gas prices, it’s everything. For example, Paying 5.590 per gallon for heating oil with a 150 gallon minimum is a lot of money to come out of the family budget no matter how well you budget.
Immediate stressors are real and cloud all other views momentarily for many.

What subsets of America’s population need to be targeted? What do we know about their mindset, life stage, desires, worldview, understanding of politics etc?

Which, if their current mindset starts with some level of TDS might make such engagement a challenge.

What I was trying to intimate above is that maybe a significant portion of those whose minds we need to change won’t ever read or listen to to a message delivered by President Trump on principle. Let alone understand it, believe it and trust it enough to do the call to action i.e. vote as needed.
So I’m suggesting consideration about how, where and by whom the message needs to be delivered to be effective.

Very little Brent crude is produced now… Methinks it is still used as a benchmark in London in order to facilitate manipulation of current market prices…
Lots of other fields produce light, sweet crude, including: The Permian Basin fields in Texas and New Mexico, The Algerian fields, Louisiana “off shore” fields, Lots of other light, sweet grades produced around the world…
Another seldom considered reason for the higher prices of gasoline/diesel is that the 55 gallon barrel of oil is a thing of the past and now is only 46 gallons per barrel…

I-75. Isn’t that one of those interstates we are told don’t exist in Florida.
Runs near the Gulf of America. Then the middle of the state. Then north to Atlanta, Knoxville, and Cincinnati. And terminates in the UP of Michigan.
The other main north-south interstate in Florida is near the Atlantic. I-95. It likes the Atlantic so much you can end up in Maine.
If you noticed, there is a definite east to west decrease in the numbering of the north-south interstates. The Pacific gets I-5.
I didn’t catch what roads the beast took north from TX to OK. But I-35 is in both.

In Seattle Tacoma if you were doing 30 or better on the Interstate then you were moving.
Last time I went through Atlanta top speed was about 25- 35 mph, bumper to bumper traffic.
I can believe it. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about traffic in Atlanta.
That was back around 1997 or 1998. I quit going to Florida after that. Florida had changed, to many people, to much traffic, to commercial, the culture of Florida had changed to much. I can’t even imagine it now.
Even my last trip I canceled my hotel reservations after one night and drove up to Jekyll Island and stayed there. I even took a ferry trip to the infamous Sea Island. We ate supper there, but I couldn’t afford to stay there even back then.

You are correct there are several routes between Denton,Tx to Durant, Ok. Possible they took I 35 north and then back East on Rte 32
Not a straight shot and definitely not I 75, Possibly they were on Rte 75 for part of the trip.
My first experience, in Denton Texas….was the exit off of I-35…a dirt road, no joke….and a V split with the Holiday Inn on the one side,…it ya stayed on the interstate, one would pass what was known then, as “North Texas State University”…the home of “The Mean Green Machine”….ah memories…am starting to sound more like my mother…
and remembering the interstate signs for Oklahoma…as an east coaster and Canal Zonian, that was a new experience! Oklahoma to me, was a place only written about, in stories…
LOL my first weird experience in Texas after visiting a brother-in-law in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and staying on the north end of Padre Island was to driving through Huston on the way to New Orleans. It was about 10 in the morning in early May on a week day. Traffic was terrible, I couldn’t find and English language station on the radio and teens were running around on the freeway everywhere.
If I ever had to drive though Huston again I would drive six hours out of my way to avoid it. Northern Wisconsin had not prepared me for that.

Regarding the subject of AI, there’s an interesting article on X about the massive explosion of AI-assisted video game modding advances within the past week. Notable because:
1) The timing suspiciously lines up with the Trump Administration taking a firmer and louder pro-AI stance. Additionally, it’s awfully weird that gamers are getting a flood of shiny, new AI toys right before the mid-terms.
2) Most of the examples cited are either under XBOX (Microsoft) control, e.g. Call of Duty, Minecraft, Halo:CE, and Age of Empires, or otherwise US-based (Terraria’s developer is based in red state Indiana).
IMO, and this is pure speculation on my part, but it looks a lot like a US-based, pro-AI influence op trying to reach out to the same gamers that helped Trump win the 2016 meme war.

I get so tired of that stupid comment. I didn’t say we are a democracy. I said we have a democracy. A system of supposedly free and fair elections which is indeed termed democracy. It is not mob rule because ours is a limited democracy and a representative democracy (House reps and Senators). That means we have checks and balances to prevent mob rule. Like the Bill of Rights and electoral college. Which is also why the Democrats want to get rid of both.

People lost the concept of the ‘value of a dollar’. The inflation rate for 2008 was 3.84%, it wasn’t talked about much, but everyone was talking about home equity. Home equity ‘free money’ for boats, vacations, etc. After 2008, inflation dropped dramatically. Hmmmm. 🙄
