Thanks to the kind attention of my late wife, at one time about a decade ago we had a tribe of foundling kitties. They all became our constant companions, got along quite well with our 3 dogs (who were treated as large cats—see Patience’s photo. Being foundlings, they were all a variety of colors. And, yes, each one exhibited distinct behavior characteristics we attributed to their color. Our yellow tabbie, for instance, had been a tough street kitty. Living with us he not only was our “guard” kitty who protected his
mats, but he also became a constant, very affectionate, companion.

You can see how that cuts off newer Conservative outlets. Next Biden had a pre-approved list of reporters that submitted their questions ahead of time who his handlers allowed him to call on. How is that different than just not letting them into the room. It is not different it is the same.

Hello, my friends,
We are entering Yom Kippur — the Day of Atonement.
In 2005, Israel went through what was called “The Disengagement.” Israel withdrew from Gaza under the false liberal idea that doing so would bring peace, or at least quiet.
The IDF and police forcibly evacuated the Jewish communities of Gaza and destroyed their homes — 21 communities in all. Many of these communities were religious, and Gaza, in case you don’t know, is part of the Biblical Promised Land of Israel.
Many greenhouses were also left behind. The idea was that they would provide employment for some 4,000–5,000 Gazans. They were then looted and stripped of parts and equipment, and what remained was not well managed and eventually closed.
So why am I talking about this, and what does it have to do with Yom Kippur?
For several years, I have wanted to translate something for you, but I could never technically download the video. Yesterday, I finally managed to do it.
It is known as “The Girls’ Prayer.”
Hundreds of Jewish girls who were about to be evacuated gathered together and prayed with extraordinary intensity. They recited Psalm 102 and additional prayers. The video became well known in Israel.
It is almost as though they sensed that terrible consequences would follow.
Psalm 102 — A Prayer of the Afflicted — is traditionally associated with Yom Kippur and is used in Yom Kippur prayer traditions.

But I have something more to say, and this is not typical for me. What follows is not something I am presenting as scientific proof or established fact. But the dates themselves are undeniable.
Historically, there have been a number of occasions when serious pressure was placed on Israel to give up parts of the Biblical Promised Land, and major disasters followed very closely afterward.
President George W. Bush and his administration promoted the “Road Map” toward a Two-State Solution.
The United States applied diplomatic and economic pressure in pursuit of that goal. When Prime Minister Ariel Sharon decided to carry out the Disengagement — which also included several Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria — Bush and his administration strongly pushed for its implementation.
Bush publicly endorsed Sharon’s plan and repeatedly connected it to the Road Map and the goal of two states. In April 2005, Bush said that he “strongly support[ed]” the disengagement and wanted it to “re-energize progress along the road map.”
His administration was also directly involved in its implementation. Condoleezza Rice met with Sharon, Mahmoud Abbas, international envoy James Wolfensohn, and security officials, and said that the immediate objective was a “successful disengagement, on schedule.”
Anyway, look at the timeline:
August 15, 2005 — The Disengagement begins.
August 23, 2005 — Four Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are destroyed as part of the Disengagement.
August 23, 2005 — Katrina forms as a tropical depression.
August 25, 2005 — Katrina becomes a hurricane and makes landfall in South Florida.
August 28, 2005 — Katrina becomes a Category 5 hurricane.
August 29, 2005 — Katrina strikes Louisiana and Mississippi, causing catastrophic destruction.
I know — this can certainly be dismissed as coincidence.
Interestingly, the word “coincidence” comes from Latin roots conveying the idea of things “happening together.”
But there is more.
1991 — Madrid Peace Conference / “Perfect Storm”
The George H. W. Bush administration pressured Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir to enter the Madrid peace process and withheld approval of $10 billion in loan guarantees amid disagreements over settlement activity.
The Madrid Conference opened on October 30, 1991.
At the same time, the massive storm that became known as “The Perfect Storm” was battering the U.S. Atlantic coast.
1992 — Arab-Israeli Negotiations / Hurricane Andrew
A new round of Madrid-process bilateral negotiations began in Washington on August 24, 1992.
That very same day, Hurricane Andrew made its catastrophic landfall in South Florida.
1994 — Clinton-Assad Negotiations / Northridge Earthquake
President Bill Clinton met Syrian President Hafez al-Assad on January 16, 1994, during negotiations that included the possibility of an Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights.
The following morning, January 17, the Northridge earthquake struck Southern California.
1998 — Netanyahu-Arafat Talks / Hurricane Georges
President Clinton met Benjamin Netanyahu and Yasser Arafat at the White House on September 28, 1998, as the United States pushed for further implementation of the Oslo process.
Hurricane Georges struck the Gulf Coast during the same period, making landfall in Mississippi on September 29.
1998 — Wye River Negotiations / Texas Floods
The Wye River negotiations began on October 15, 1998, dealing with further Israeli territorial withdrawals in the West Bank.
On October 17, catastrophic flooding began in South-Central Texas — an event later known as the Great October Flood.
Again, I am not claiming that any of this proves cause and effect. I simply wanted to share what I know about this subject and point out the remarkable timing. There are other examples as well.
And in this context, some may also look at October 7 and ask whether it, too, could be understood as a consequence of abandoning part of the Biblical Land of Israel.

There is no claim that every “disaster in the US is related to Israel”.
We have plenty to answer for on our own without involving Israel.
There was no Israel in 1900. Jews were doing pretty well in USA at the turn of the 20th Century. We did turn a callus eye toward the massive pogroms going on in Russia.

Brigadier General Amir Avivi, for example, has traced his Family in Israel back 15 generations, at least.
There are many others.
The Modern State of Israel was born in 1948.

Many were escaping the Holocaust. Many others were fulfilling lifelong yearnings to be in the Promised Land.
The way I read WWII history, our State Dept. seemed to have a callus eye towards the plight of the Jew at times.

Gaza – Israel is holding about 65% of the land. Killing their commanders and participants of 10/7 daily.
The whole agreements with the big words, “peace”, “Palestinian technocrat government” , etc is never going to work because Hamas will never disarm on it’s own. They try to scam Trump into believing they will disarm. Eventually, Israel will have to finish the job in Gaza and end Hamas. At the moment they are growing and training under the protection of the US deal.
In Lebanon we hold a buffer zone and gradually conquering more strategic locations to defend our borders.
Again the Lebanese government are lying to the US that they will disarm Hezbollah when we all know that they can’t. So again Israel is restricted from doing more to himself Hezbollah and is only operating at the South of Lebanon. We are wiping out their border villages. We evacuated them and they will have stricken to ever return. Those villages were used as terror bases agianst Israel and Israel is commited to make it safe to it’s citizens to live close to the borders too.
Iran is in the US hands. But Bibi is intending to finish this regime. We don’t know when and how.
The main elections are in October 27. Everything depends on it. If a left wing Govenment rises they will give everything for hopeful deals that you can’t do successfully. The blood of our soldiers will be wasted. The whole 10/7 disaster is because of the left who pushed to give Gaza to the Gazans in 2005. COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 86
The psalmist pleads his earnestness, and the mercy of God, as reasons why his prayer should be heard. (1-7) He renews his requests for help and comfort. (8-17)
1-7 Our poverty and wretchedness, when felt, powerfully plead in our behalf at the throne of grace. The best self-preservation is to commit ourselves to God’s keeping. I am one whom thou favourest, hast set apart for thyself, and made partaker of sanctifying grace. It is a great encouragement to prayer, to feel that we have received the converting grace of God, have learned to trust in him, and to be his servants. We may expect comfort from God, when we keep up our communion with God. God’s goodness appears in two things, in giving and forgiving. Whatever others do, let us call upon God, and commit our case to him; we shall not seek in vain.
8-17 Our God alone possesses almighty power and infinite love. Christ is the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be more desirous to be taught the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be more desirous to be taught the way and the truth of God, in order to walk therein, than to be delivered out of earthly distress. Those who set not the Lord before them, seek after believers’ souls; but the compassion, mercy, and truth of God, will be their refuge and consolation. And those whose parents were the servants of the Lord, may urge this as a plea why he should hear and help them. In considering David’s experience, and that of the believer, we must not lose sight of Him, who though he was rich, for our sakes became poor, that we through his poverty might be rich.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Non-Christian historical sources outside Bible confirm key facts in NT regarding Jesus including his crucifixion death, burial and resurrection. Tacitus: “Christus, from whom the name [Christians] had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus”. Josephus: “Pilate condemned him [Jesus] to be crucified and to die. They [his disciples] reported that he had appeared to them three days after his crucifixion, and that he was alive” and “Jesus, who was called Christ” [anointed one/Messiah]. Archeological traces of olives and grape vine found below claimed Jesus’ tomb under Church of Holy Sepulcher [John 19:41 Jesus’ tomb was in a garden]. Each person’s redemption, salvation and where their souls will spend eternity depends entirely upon their own voluntary response to the true Jesus going to him in prayer, with the utmost, open-heart sincerity, and inviting him to become your Lord and Savior. There is no other way and may be done privately, silently, and telepathically. You can then know you have salvation now, not maybe when you die. Salvation is not a result of your good works. Rather the Holy Spirit indwelling in you will cause you to want to do good works and grow spiritually. When you choose to reveal you are a believer and follower of Jesus, certain people will reject you, but Jesus will never leave you. Don’t wait to follow the truth and see what happens in your life.
