Back door ‘jury nullification’? Lawyer tactics, and he knows the judge on call???
Not liking what am seeing, and am not a lawyer but…the rest of the jury did not like what one, who held to his/her convictions, considered? (Clancy Trial)…
It’s hard to tell without having heard all the evidence on her alleged mental illness. What I found interesting:
She was a labor and delivery nurse who had already had two children before her last baby. She knew about pregnancy complications.
She lived near Boston, which has world-class medical care at place like Mass General.
How much did she tell her husband, such as “Honey, please take the kids to you mom, my sister, someone, so I don’t hurt them.”
My in-laws worked in that medical system. St. Tony Fauci and his ilk are there, all with god complexes.
One of their identical twins (shared amniotic sac and placenta, high risk pregnancy and heavily monitored by same hospital system) was enrolled in a federally funded clinical medical study. Pulled her from the study after learning the data was falsified to list the child as a fraternal twin without available prior records.
Medical providers lie all the time in records, and are told to testify in court only that their “records reflect”.
Absolutely. I’m a retired litigator (civil), and doctors would almost always say, “My records indicate…”

Both Clancys have civil suits against the healthcare providers. An acquittal would give the civil attorneys some juice. Anything else might actually reduce their leverage. Would a healthcare system put a ringer on the jury?

The biggest source of frustration among the enemy within is their inability to “memory-hole” the stolen ’20 election

Years ago, dinner jackets were required and if didn’t have you were provided one. Not it’s N95 masks🙄

As I recall, the dining room at the Ritz in Boston required a jacket and tie at breakfast.
The holdout juror has bigger stones than SCROTUS Roberts could ever hope to have. And this guy doesn’t have security.

Massachusetts does not want this case back. I wouldn’t be surprised if they make the judge remove the holdout.
Then an alternate would take his place, and the jury would have to start deliberations all over again. There are six alternate jurors.
Wondered how the one out of six would get selected. Looked it up. It’s picking one name out of a box. Would be a huge irony if the one name was another holdout.
One point to remember: once the mistrial in the Clancy case is recorded, the jury is discharged, and is no longer required stay silent (and we know some won’t be).
Votes on individual charges would then not be in the record, so she could be re-tried on all charges.
JUST NOW: Legal expert Jonathan Turley says the Lindsay Clancy defense attorney needs to be PUT IN HIS PLACE, declare a mistrial and STOP LETTING HIM PLAY GAMES
The defense attorney is now trying to BLOCK the mistrial declaration!
“This is perfectly BONKERS! The idea, if I was the judge, I’d say, let me get this straight: you objected to my not swapping out the alternate and you’re waiting NOT to file something like this! You’re LATE on that pal, I’m gonna declare a mistrial! YOU’RE the one who didn’t even tell me you were thinking of this.”
What surprised me when I was reviewing the event taking place…
