They served us well with the feral who adopted us. He never came in, so I set up a commdious one with blankets in the garage. And in the winter left the garage door open just enough so he could escape the cold, blocking the opening all the way across with boxes until there was a little space left to accommodate his coming and going. We looked like an Amazon warehouse 😂

Our little Coco was outside with her pappy when she spotted an adult fox sitting and watching the two of them.
She took off after the fox.
It took quite a bit of loud yelling and hand clapping before she heard her pappy tell her to stop, and then she stopped.
I’d prefer it if she stayed inside all the time, since we have fox, coyotes, fishers, bear, eagles, vultures, and cougars also passing through or over our yard all the time.
