While I have serious doubts that there is mass-starvation here due to the changes in SNAP, if it were occurring, we’d have to know it and experience it with our own senses because it wouldn’t get reported by legacy media for obvious reasons. That propaganda campaign would be through the roof to downplay and cover up.

I remember in the 80s the media constantly talked about the homeless and associated people being homeless with Reagan’s policies. If they had an opening to do that again, they’d be all over it. Homelessness has turned into a big moneymaker, and is more prevalent in blue areas, so the media doesn’t talke about it much.

And citing HIPPAA laws and the need for privacy just isn’t going to cut it. How many married people or loved ones do you know, especially after 3+ decades, wouldn’t be releasing images of them together during this time? That’s only natural and we see things like that everyday. But not in this case. Color me skeptical.

What I find most curious is the lack of attention and it being pointed out by someone, anyone, in President Trumps administration because whether one likes him or not, McConnell is a very important figure in American politics and it wouldn’t be disrespectful to publicly inquire as to his status.
I suspect there is a political decorum that is followed by Beltway insiders on such things, but if Sen. McConnell is incapacitated or incapable of fulfilling his Senatorial duties and obligations, someone needs to step up and say so. Remember when a big deal was made regarding President Trumps alleged mental inabilities not so longer ago and the stories ran daily for weeks? Yet here we are with Sen. McConnell and it’s nothing but crickets. Someone in the Senate needs to call for a vote on McConnell and his official removal from office.
It’s just unethical, regardless of who it is. Ginsburg or McConnell. (Yes, I believe they did this with Ginsburg, but had a fake walk thru airport to prove she was alive. A much younger version.) No one has even bothered with that, just fake AI photos as some kind of proof of something 🙄

I think Pirro probably made a fair decision from a legal perspective. Trump is very sensitive to vandalism of national monuments.
I am sure Pirro shared her opinion that they were not likely to succeed in prosecutions in DC on some of these cases since the major damage was construction, although vandalism was also done.
Might be good to go through the grand jury process….let them sort it out as far as evidence is concerned and just go from there so Trump is satisfied all was done to hold vandals accountable.
That being said, some of these conviction punishments seem very harsh to me. 10 years imprisonment for tearing off a piece of torn sealant?

I’m seeing a lot of commenting on the President switching planes when he was last in the M.E. due to a visble threat from Iran. Folks are upset on the one side that this information (his “escape plan” was made public) violates OPSEC and puts the President’s future travel plans at risk. The other side are calling him a coward for allowing the SS to put him on the other plane yet leaving some of his departmental secretaries and the press on the original AF One. Sticky situation. Keeping the President alive is Job One for the SS but it’s a bad look (I think) to abandon those folks and allowing them to fly on, essentially, the target aircraft. Decisions like this are sometimes made on the fly, and only in retrospect is it seen what the “right thing to do” was. It’s tough being in charge, the decisions that have to be in situations like this one. I’m happy the plot against the President was foiled.
Newest information is that AF1 was surrounded by fighter jets the entire flight. They were probably safer than they would have been had they chosen to fly commercial.

I am so enjoying seeing that league’s leaders have panic on their faces as they have to do something here. They won’t define a woman, didn’t know(supposedly) what the W in their league name stands for, refuse to support their white players when they are being beat up on court, won’t defend women’s right to their own sport with no pretend women involved etc. This man and one other I believe, is giving them publicity they really don’t want and he’s doing a fine job showing how absolutely ridiculous this league is being. I can’t wait to see how the league gets themselves out of this pickle they are in.
