For me what “this” is are those who biatch and whine like little school girls about how nothing is being done and then turn around and do the exact same thing when something is being done. They further give absolutely no consideration to the reality of how the world and governments work and expect that someone can just snap their damn fingers and solve everything. I also remember how some of those same people earlier this week whined and cried that Dillon wasn’t doing anything. It’s absolutely pathetic.

If a missile hit any target with a concentrated gathering of people, like an expo, then x10 for both categories, and I doubt very much that the Russians would not have known the busiest time to strike.
They’ll obviously be another batch of ‘accident’s’ being reported in the news, (if at all), with a plethora of falls, drownings, car/plane/helicopter (always a reliable one) crashes, domestic incidents and other tragic incidents, to account for those killed.

Because when a missile hits (and there were 2–3 of them) an open area, some people are simply torn into molecules. That’s why dogs are working at the site — to find at least some fragment. Secondly, there are not 100 wounded. It’s several times more. And that’s not counting the local residents whose houses we saw in the photos from the scene — those were also wiped out. If there were over 300 people at the exhibition, then it’s obvious the number of victims is in the hundreds. As for the approval of the exhibition and whether the authorities knew about it or not — how else can you explain the presence of UDO (State Protection Department) communications people there? This is a huge tragedy for which every single organizer should go to prison. And we all still remember Chernihiv! Sincere condolences to the families of the deceased. It’s painful to fully realize the entire scale of this tragedy.

Here is a really good video of yesterday’s SpaceX Starship 13 launch. The launch went really well, about the only issue I saw was the booster did not light all engines during landing and landed a bit fast.
Spacex has been in the news a lot since its IPO, with a lot of debate about what the value of the company really should be, etc. Also there are starting to be some competitors in reusable rockets. Both Japan and China have had successful tests with reusable rockets. But Spacex is still far ahead, and just got farther ahead.
Today a Falcon 9 was launched from California with 20 Starlink satellites. It was that booster’s eighth flight. The booster with the most flights has 36 launches. There have been 90 Falcon 9 flights this year.
Yesterday a Startship was launched for a very successful test. It deployed 20 Starlink satellites from its Pez dispencer, which is another innovation to be able to launch multiple satellites.
The economics of Starship are very important, and often lost in the flashiness of the launches. Falcon 9 can launch 22,800 kg to LEO, for $76 million per launch. Starship is designed to carry 150,000 kg, 20x the satellites at $10 million per launch.

I don’t own any SpaceX stock, but I think eventually it will pay off. In this last flight they tested their latest Starlink upgraded satellites, and I think those performed well. While it had a couple of issues that need fixing, Starship is probably ready to deploy upgraded satellites into orbit starting the next flight. This will bring gigabit internet to any point on Earth, which they can sell. when Starship is fully operational, it won’t just be for the moon and Mars, it will be putting factories, data centers and power stations in orbit. Those will bring in money, and SpaceX will have about 10-15 years to themselves building out a space infrastructure before other countries catch up.

When testifying before a House subcommittee in June 2024, Fauci also denied that experiments that received NIH and USAID grants fell within the definition of gain-of-function research, which involves making viruses more infectious or transmissible.
Paul’s reference to records came after he uncovered emails in which Fauci instructed then-NIH Director Francis Collins to “delete this e-mail after you read it.”
“I referred him twice to the DOJ under Biden for criminal prosecution. They never acted on it. I referred him twice to the Trump DOJ without action on it,” Paul said.
