That sounds like my 95 yo mother. She got the initial jab and every booster offered since. We’ve tried to tell her how dangerous it is but she won’t listen. It’s a miracle that she’s still alive. My wife and I know numerous people that got the jab and most have had adverse reactions to it.
I had a client read me the riot act for not getting the Jab, while she basically puked out of both eyes and looked like she got run over by a steam shovel.
I was like, “ya, but are you ok Mam?”, as she went for her 37th booster shot. F’n crazy.

I talked to a guy last week that I see every summer at festivals, always with his identical twin brother. This time he was alone. I asked where was his brother, he told me his brother has congestive heart failure and is being recommended for hospice care. I asked if he is worried about his own health, being twins, and he said he was checked out and is fine. The difference? His brother took every COVID shot as soon as it was available, whereas he only took the first one before he read enough online that he stopped.
I don’t know their age but he told me they are on Medicare.

Details of Gordie Howe Bridge deal released amid political pressure
OTTAWA – Amid conflicting messaging and questions surrounding the agreed-upon revenue sharing between Canada and the U.S., details of the deal to open the Gordie Howe International Bridge were released late Tuesday.The deal states that Canada will share 50 per cent of net bridge and crossing-related revenues with the U.S. for the first fifteen years.
“Net bridge and crossing related revenues is all revenues collected with respect to the bridge, less all incurred operating costs of the bridge,” the deal reads, confirming reporting from Bloomberg last week.
The deal does not mention interest costs or debt payments related to the bridge, meaning Canada will repay its debt but only after splitting net revenue with the U.S.
That stipulation conflicts with comments Carney made in an interview with CTV News Calgary on July 12, in which he said net revenues would only be shared after debt costs were recovered.
“We get the revenues. Then the servicing of the costs of the bridge and paying the debt of the bridge, and then what’s left over, there’s a split of that for 15 years,” he said at the time.

It may own the whole bridge, but not the US half of the Detroit River, as I find it inconceivable that Trump would agree to any transfer of sovereign territory.

I feel bad about this situation because I don’t think it had to end this way.
New England is full of do-gooders that are not always up to no good- this is the stuff they also like to solve.
Vermont has a couple of schools that teach this sorta stuff too.

“… Democrats insisted illegals voting in federal elections was inconceivable. “Democrats and their media allies have repeatedly said it is impossible for noncitizens to register to vote, let alone cast a ballot,” White House spokeslady Abigail Jackson said yesterday.
Welp. It’s not inconceivable anymore. The Democrats have a lot of ‘splaining to do. I’ll offer just three examples of the new problems this creates for Democrats.
The Cover-Up. The error was “discovered and corrected in 2024, while Philip Murphy was governor, but never publicly disclosed,” per Gov. Sherrill.
That means, for at least two years, state officials knew thousands of self‑identified noncitizens had been registered —and hundreds had voted— but quietly broomed the database and chose not to tell voters, lawmakers, or the press.
From a legal perspective, that’s textbook consciousness of guilt: when people hurriedly fix a problem in the dark and suppress the existence of the problem, they are implicitly admitting they understand how damning it is.
Whether or not we can ever prove criminal intent, the decision to cover up a known failure in the core eligibility system is itself powerful evidence that they knew the incident was serious, not a “routine error.”
The Lies. The Times previously framed Trump’s push as addressing “a problem that doesn’t exist”; now the same paper reports one of the largest confirmed instances of noncitizen voting and quotes a “non partisan” elections expert admitting such errors “do infrequently occur.”
Stage Two: It happens, but it’s rare. The impossibility narrative just shattered into a thousand pieces.
The New Jersey case alone proves noncitizen registration is not “impossible”; it happened at least 6,600 times in a single state in a single year. Noncitizen voting is no longer a myth; at least 400 illegal ballots were cast and counted before the glitch was corrected.
This is a significant opening of the Overton Window. The debate can no longer honestly be “does this ever happen?”; it must now become “how often, and how much are we willing to tolerate?”
The Practical Effect. The Times leaned hard into statistics: ~0.02% of 2023 local votes, and ~0.009% of 2024 presidential votes in New Jersey. Of course, two weeks ago, the very same Times insisted it was a “problem that doesn’t exist.” So.
But that shrink-ray framing ignores how elections actually work. Many local races are decided by dozens or hundreds of votes; and more often than you’d think by a single vote. Statewide primaries and down‑ballot contests regularly fall in margins where only a few hundred ballots affect the outcome.
Even if, for the sake of argument, you accept that only 400 illegal votes exist in this one episode —every single one was detected— that’s enough to decide close school board races, council seats, county offices, or local ballot measures. For a few quick examples:
2020: Iowa’s 2nd congressional district was decided by 6 votes.2020: New York’s 22nd district decided by 109 votes.2022: Connecticut House District 81 decided by 1 vote.2026: Boca Raton, FL mayor decided by 5 votes after a recount.
Um. Only 0.009 percent would have flipped every single race above. And, “Just one illegal vote cancels out the vote of a U.S. citizen,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin correctly explained.
Unsurprisingly, the Times’s article did not quote a single expert who was willing to claim 400 votes don’t matter.
And more importantly: once you admit the system can generate 6,600 improper registrations and 400 illegal votes in a year without detection or disclosure, you have no honest basis to assert there are no similar failures elsewhere. The 6,600/400 figure is a floor, not a ceiling.
Why should we even accept the 6,600/400 figure? New Jersey won’t share its data. And the DOJ claims the numbers are much higher. ” …….

I also think the President should take some time off daily or weekly. He needs some quieter days while still keeping his eye on the job, he could take some golf time or just down time at one of his homes or in the WH. As vigorous as he is, he is still 80 years old and he needs some breaks. Sorry but I think most people at 80 need some time everyday to just relax and do some things that don’t require a lot of exertion. Keep active but know when to let your body recover and heal itself even when there are no obvious ailments.

Our daughter held it all together as her husband served this country as a member of the US Air Force. They moved 7 times in 18 years! Each time she gave up her job as a physical therapist and re-established it in their new assignment. She held up the home front while her husband was deployed twice overseas. He recently retired so now they’re will be more stability in their lives, especially as they’re parents to two young children.
My hat is off to all of them!

So the Division of Elections MANUALLY APPROVED over SIX THOUSAND foreigners to vote. They were not automatically registered by the software provider as the governor claimed.

Either the majority of illegals interacting with the system are indicating that YES they are citizens or this 6,600 number is a massive underrepresentation of the truth.

Unfortunately, many of us have long warned that New Jersey needed tighter security measures for our elections and voter registration systems.
Just one week after the governor’s knowledge, she has now publicly announced that more than 6,000 nonresidents were registered to vote in our state, the situation is far more serious.
I hate to deliver more bad news, but the problem extends well beyond those 6,000 cases. It’s more!
This is precisely why we must pass the SAVE Act.
As an original co-sponsor of the voter registration program at the DMV, I am calling for an immediate pause on new voter registrations until stronger safeguards are put in place. Only at the DMV.
Years ago, when New Jersey expanded drivers licenses to undocumented immigrants, I and others were assured that these individuals would not be offered or forwarded the option to register to vote. We now later discovered that was not the case. It was a lie.
We owe New Jersey residents a full apology and complete transparency. The administration and those involved must come clean. This is not merely a data breach. It is a cover-up.
Finally, the Secretary of State, who also serves as Lieutenant Governor and is named in the current RNC lawsuit, must immediately hand over the voter registration maintenance rolls to the Department of Homeland Security for independent review and verification.
Lastly, the Department of Justice’s Election Division should assign independent monitors to oversee the entire process of transitioning to a more qualified vendor for the voter registration system at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), because the current vendor’s contract should be terminated.

It also details the how the SAVE system Operates as well as breaks down which states use ERIC and those using SAVE (pretty much divided along Red v Blue lines).
The article had one very interesting point concerning a statement in the ERIC By-Laws:
“This supposed sophisticated voter cleaning operation has in its by-laws that they do not want information that a person is a non-citizen. What’s even more bizarre, ERIC doesn’t use the SAVE system.”
